The reason you don't want birds nesting in or on your roof is they can bring a lot of diseases with them, particularly pigeons. They have some diseases that they carry. They also have dust in their feathers, can actually cause lung disease. So they are a bit of a health risk to people. Another reason that you want to get rid of them is a lot of birds have bird mites. So a little mite that live on the birds, but once the birds leave the nest, they leave the bird mites behind, and then the bird mites actually go throughout the person's home looking for a new host. Another reason to get rid of pigeons, they have a lot of droppings. They fill up the gutters. The gutters are then too full for stormwater to run down. I then have had properties where that stormwater runs back inside the house, does water damage, all because they got pigeons nesting on the roof. I've seen them do damage to solar panels. One client's solar panels caught on fire because of the damage that they were causing underneath the solar panels. So you've made that investment with the solar panels. You, you don't want to lose that investment because of a couple of pesky pigeons. Give us a call. Poisoning birds is not a good idea because it's all about targeting specific birds. And obviously if you're baiting different birds can take that, the poison. That's not a good look. It's also against the law if they're native species. So baiting, poisoning birds is not really a good option.
