The things that you should do if you find a wasp nest around your house is number one, to stay away from it. Wasps can be quite aggressive if approached, so it's best to stay away from it, especially keep animals and children away. Being a wasp, they can sting repeatedly, so you'd want to stay away from it. Call a professional to help you with that problem. There's a few different types of wasps that we deal with. Typically we have paper wasps, so they create a little nest on the side of a building or a bush or something like that. It creates like a little honeycomb looking type nest. They can be quite aggressive if you get too close to them, so really stay away from those. The other one is a European wasp, the famous European wasp that looks a lot like a bee. They can be quite dangerous. People have very allergic reactions to them. They will typically nest in a hole in the ground or a hole in the tree. Again, you want to make sure you stay away from a European wasp. So there's a few different treatment options when it comes to wasps, but typically the treatment itself, the practical side of it is the same, but we have a different couple of options in regards to chemical and treating the nest. But what we basically are doing is treating the nest directly, killing the activity, so that we can then go into the area to remove the nest itself. So you wouldn't need to leave your premises during a wasp treatment. All we would ask is that you one stay inside or away from the area so that we can complete the treatment safely. So what you can expect with a wasp treatment is your technician coming to inspect the area, making sure that it's safe for everyone in the area. So maybe notifying neighbours to stay away during the treatment, making sure that it's completely safe for everyone around. Then during the treatment there's going to be a lot of activity, a lot of wasps flying around. So you want to make sure that you stay away from the area, continue to stay away from the area after the treatment for a few hours. That's when the activity will die down and it'll be safe to re enter the area and you have your house back to yourself. So we do provide a warranty with all wasp treatments. This is a six month warranty that if you have any activity that comes back in the same area that we've treated, then we'll gladly come back for free. There are a few things that can attract wasp activity around your house, things like open soda cans. So you want to keep on top of this, you don't want to store them around the house, they can attract wasp activity. Other things like barbecues, meat, dog food, these type of things can attract wasp activity as well. So? So you don't want to have those things lying around the house.
