Jeremy Mura tests Claude Design on real designer tasks: building a weather app, a sales deck that follows brand guidelines, and a magazine layout. The tool exports to Canva, PDF, and PowerPoint, and actually delivers usable work instead of generic AI fluff.

I recently tested out Claude Design to see if it was really worth it for designers. You can actually create prototypes, templates, carousels, websites, basically anything. I made this quick weather app, which was fun. I also did this sales deck. I gave it a design system and brand guidelines from a recent project, and it stuck to the colors and fonts that I used. I also had this text document about the Blue Mountains, and I used a screenshot to— for inspiration to create this nice editorial 2-page piece. It's really nice. It gave it a nice layout of typography and did the images, and it really looks really premium. And you can also share it to Canva or export as a PDF or PowerPoint. I think it's pretty cool. Let me know your thoughts on it if you've tried it.
