After sales call, you've talked to someone, they haven't responded. Do you message them? How do you know when to nudge someone and when to let the tension build? It kind of depends on your business, right? If it's Growth Assistant, I would tell them to follow up quickly and move the thing forward because someone needs a resource and you gotta get it done. At Ampush, we got into the habit of just purposely waiting 48 hours. We learned that from Red Ventures. They're just purposely waiting 48 hours to see how fast they responded. Oftentimes within 48 hours, we were in a good spot when they said, oh my God, that call was amazing. I want to get you in front of my CEO. It was a great signal to us whether or not they were really in pain and they really needed what we were doing. And then we could always respond, right? What people do is the best signal versus what they say. And so if you can get a better sense for what they're doing, how are they engaging? And you know that you're selling all the time. Like you can tell when someone is engaging in such a way that they're going to buy versus when they're just messing around.
