We're starting to socialize pricing, and every time we get on a call, Jesse raises the price. Picture this. I have no income at this point, and I've just taken a leap of faith. We have no customers. I don't know if we can deliver on what we say we have, but he was right. We started here and we landed here, and that was the right price point. And the advice was right, but it was scary.
The first thing that I wanted to sell was some kind of live educational thing. The first person I charged $1,000. I go into Jesse on Slack and he goes, Charge more. So I come in at $2,000 and it kept going and going till we got to $4,000. One insight that I got from it was he says, once you start charging more, everybody on the team knows you're charging more and they want to elevate the level of their service to justify that. Because you as the owner, you feel the pressure to deliver, but so does everybody else. I really saw things change when I went from $1,000 to $5,000.
