In this guided meditation, Jim Katsoulis leads listeners through a vivid imagination exercise where they picture waking up already at their goal weight. He prompts them to feel the physical sensations of their transformed body, dress in desired clothing, and move through a typical morning and day, noting differences in ease, enjoyment, and social interactions. The script emphasizes noticing how everyday activities feel lighter and more pleasurable, and encourages the listener to let these imagined sensations sink into the mind and body. By repeatedly connecting the anticipated pleasure of being at goal weight with vivid sensory detail, the exercise aims to increase intrinsic motivation for weight‑loss efforts.

What would be the best part of being at your goal weight? Now, I don't want you to think about it. I want you to imagine it. I want you to imagine it's tomorrow morning, and before you've even opened your eyes, you realize that your body has transformed and you are now at your goal weight. And as you lie there in bed, notice how it feels on the inside to know that you're at your goal weight, to be in that body. Feel your body with your hands. Notice how it feels different. Enjoy that. Now take a moment and imagine yourself hopping out of bed and getting dressed in the exact clothes that you want to wear on that body. Notice what it feels like to get dressed in those clothes, to know you look that way, that you feel this way. Connect to all of those experiences. Now imagine yourself moving through your morning. Whatever you expect yourself to do tomorrow morning, imagine yourself doing it. At your goal weight in that body as that version of you. Notice how you move. Notice which things are easier, which things are more enjoyable, which things are the same. Notice how that feels. And now imagine yourself moving through your day. Whatever you expect to happen tomorrow, imagine going through that day at your goal weight and notice all the little differences. How it feels to get in and out of your car, to move around, to run into different people, to speak with people. Notice which foods you want to eat. Notice how it feels to move around, to live your life at that weight. And let all of those feelings go deep into your body, into your mind, so that you begin to connect to all the pleasure. that you expect and anticipate at that weight. And the more you can imagine this, the more motivation you're going to tap into. So keep this idea in your mind and in your body.
