Two filmmakers are crowdfunding Infinity System on Kickstarter to build a community of fans rather than chase private investors. They're using funds for locations, recognizable actors, and a poster by Drew Struzan, offering backers on-set access and credits in return.

When we were looking at different ways to fund this project, there was a private investor route and multiple other ways we could have done it, but we decided to bring it to Kickstarter because we wanted to build a community. We wanted to do this together.
Filmmaking is such a collaborative art form, and I think that's why we were so quick to jump on the crowdfunding bandwagon. This is a project that with our connections and our storytelling skills, we could make this movie tomorrow, but the first thing we wanted to do was say, let's start at the ground floor. We're filmmakers, but we're film fans first.
We know that there's thousands and thousands of people out there who love to escape after a hard day's work just to take their mind off of what's going on. So we wanted to use Kickstarter to find our tribe, to find our community, and be able to build together.
Creating this new intellectual property, if we're going to create this new universe, this new sandbox to play in, we want to share that entire journey with you. The other goal is to showcase locations that we don't see every day on screen, and of course getting out to these locations is a chore.
This is what's going to get us those locations that are going to be really cool and amazing for you to see on screen.
This is certainly an area where we want to divert some of those funds.
These are going to get the actors from maybe IPs that you are familiar with.
That's one of the reasons we wanted to go to Kickstarter, is because we could cast anyone in this film, but we want to cast faces that that maybe you recognize from some of your favorite shows, and we hope we can make that dream a reality. Over the years, I've been able to work with some really talented film poster artists, even Drew Struzan, who we all know from Star Wars and Indiana Jones. And while Drew's retired now, we've already been talking with securing a poster artist who will illustrate our movie poster in that classic old-school way.
We're going to go on an epic journey, and I hope you decide to join us. Decide to come with us.
There's opportunities to join us on set. There's opportunities to get your name in the credits. There's so many ways that you at home can, can get involved and really put your own stamp on this property.
Our brand, if you look at Wolfpack Entertainment, our brand is the pack, and the reason why is because wolves travel in a pack. They travel in a community. We want you to be part of our pack. We can't wait to share this with you.
