Masterclass to Money, fam. Let's go.
Let's go.
Cameras on. Excited. We got call number 2 today. So excited for this one. Why don't we— if you have a win, business life win, raise your hand. Go ahead and share it. No, no win's too small. No win's too big. I always just want to start with an up. Let's start with an up. Let's go. Rebecca, what's up?
Hey, so it's personal and business. It's just the reminder that investing— I invested in Inner Circle after The masterclass and just the change in me and just the, like, the last 2 to 3 weeks. It's just like another reminder that when we invest in ourselves, especially when it's a stretch, especially when it makes no logical sense, it's like, I don't know about you guys, but it kicks me. It kicks me in the butt. It's like this whole next level reminder of. All the things. Like, do you know what I mean?
It's like, I know exactly what you mean.
I know, I know, I know we all do. But then when you actually put yourself in that circumstance, it just like, seriously, so many levels.
Well, yeah, and something you're bringing up is it's the power. It's honestly the, like, human nature. Human nature. If, if you understand how we function and think when it comes to becoming a bigger person, a better person, a wiser person, then you realize you have to go first. Yeah. Now the awareness came, but people don't know that when we're teaching them.
Right.
Which is why it's so important, kind of back to review of week 1, is shifting beliefs more than anything. 'Cause the issue is people are in the way of their own self. They're in their own way. And if we could change the way they think about the thing we're talking about and we make it seem easier, we make it more accessible, then their self-talk changes. And it really is, this is the power of sales. Rebecca, you're telling me that all of the stuff that we do is worth it. But if I don't make it about the sale, then we could miss the whole thing completely.
Yeah.
And then, and then, and then you get people that never move on or move forward when they should have. And this is why it's so important to get great at sales. And so you're— you becoming a better buyer is going to inform and influence you becoming a better saleswoman. 100,000%. Just even based on how you feel, you feel this way, you can't help but show up and be like, and you're, you're already here. And if sales is a transference of enthusiasm, And then sometimes you could buy that enthusiasm, you can buy that belief, and sometimes it's required.
Yeah.
And yeah, then you show up differently for the people that you're teaching.
Yeah. But it— and also, just to be clear too, it's not even— it's not just the energy. Yes. And also it's the tactical. It like lights your brain back on fire because I've been here before for anybody else in the room, and then it just was a season. And so for me, it's a reminder. And also it just like relights your brain up. All the tactical is coming back, all the ideas and all of that because I'm in the room, because I'm in the environment. And the best quote that I keep repeating, Omar, is— correct me if I get this off— but something about, don't worry about— of course, now under pressure— don't worry about, don't stress over making the wrong decision, make the decision right. Like every day, make the decision right, make the decision right. Not just the investment here, but whether it's about a content or a landing page or whatever the case may be. So anyway, thank you.
Yeah, thanks for sharing. Beautiful. Let's go, Rob, my man. Hey, hi. So, uh, my win is that I realized that I've been doing my freelance film crew a total disservice by waiting a year, year and a half to really take action. Um, after starting the— this, this masterclass, I've muted my other coaches, my other YouTube subscriptions, and I'm concentrating on this method because this is— it's the first time I felt like I'm taking— I've taken a lot of steps, but this is a big step and a really important step. And yeah, if I don't fully concentrate on this, I'll never know if I can really help the people that really need my help. Yeah, no, I love it. Thanks for sharing that. Like Hattie, who is in the Inner Circle, she would say, if you do nothing, it's just expensive entertainment. Yeah. Christine, what's up?
Hey y'all, um, so for mine, uh, I've been coaching— I haven't even been coaching for a year yet, and I just, uh, have my app in, uh, in a beta testing right now, and I just released it last week and did a, a class in regards to how it works and how it, it will help the women overcome fear. And what's funny is I was fearful to do it, you know. I— my whole thing is teaching women that brave is It's not something you feel. It's something that you walk into and realize, I am brave by taking action. And so that was just a celebration for me is that I'm creating an app. It's still web-based right now. And being able to have something in the women's hands that they can walk through, they could process and realize, hey, that's a fear that's pulling up. That hesitation, that's a fear. That excuse, that's a fear. And so just that's the celebration that I have in regards to the business.
Beautiful. Jamiah, did I say that right?
Jamiah, Jamiah. Oh, Jamiah.
Oh, it looked like it. My bad. That's, that's me.
Yeah, it's okay. So mine is personal. Like, like you said, a lot of us are just in our own way. And I just had this revelation. I love learning. But I realized that my constant learning is actually making me procrastinate. I can spend another 100 years trying to learn everything and it still will not be enough. So I need to use what I know now and to just develop what I have now into something to put out there. Like, I can't just keep putting off. Like, I just— I mean, certification after certification, there's people, like someone said, out there that knows less than you doing the work and getting paid for it, and I'm just constantly spending money to learn and not getting anything back. So I just want to stop and just do, take action.
It's good. Yeah, well, let's go. Uh, Hattie, what's up?
Yeah, I, I just want to speak some faith into this group, if that's okay. And this is not for testimonial, this is not for test— the art in the background, I think.
No, it's not, it's Felipe. But Okay, hi Felipe. So we'll put a cool beat over it.
Okay, so I want to speak faith into this group because I've run so many masterclasses and last week was my 6th challenge and this was the 2nd challenge where being inside Omar's Inner Circle, I've made over $30,000 from a challenge. And this is from being in the masterclass play and Rob Perkins, you were absolutely bang on the money, which is That was my strategy working with Omar. I absolutely removed all of the distractions and all of the noise outside of this group. I threw myself into full-on action. And I apologize for not having my camera on. Today's a day off after last week. I was like, I need to have a day off. Uh, so I just want to speak faith into this group. Absolutely, if you literally just follow the play and do the work and do the masterclass play into something like a one-to-one or a challenge or whatever it may be for you and your business, It works. And thank you so much, Omar, for last week's, uh, two weeks ago session, because I implemented some of your learnings from the M2M, uh, recording and using that into my next challenge. Once again, moving fast, just doing the work. It allowed me to get 17— oh no, 16 people into my challenge, and that has now turned into over $30,000. So thank you so much.
Come on, let's go. I love it. All right. People winning. People wanting to win. People going to win. Let me, let me start off before I get into— so here's what I want to do today. I have a— I've written out some game-changing masterclass moves I've made. And this, this what I'm going to talk about will work for anyone who understands the main thing, which I'll review the main things. But I do want to re-coop on that this is a 60-day program and you have to move fast. Like you have to put the date on the calendar and just do the call, set up the flow. Like just do it, just do it, just do it. And then if— and I would love this. I would love this. Maybe if you guys want to throw it in the school whenever it happens. I want to do my masterclass, but— like, I just would love to know what that— whatever that but is, because you don't need— I mean, literally, we crafted this. Like, the team put— we thought about everything that could, like, be an excuse. And, and the hope is that this timeline of 60 days would make you guys move. Like, obviously I'm not trying to, like, come at you as Coach Omar because you still have a month and a half. But, you know, you will get so much by doing. Like, Jason, he's actually in the Inner Circle. He recently joined the Inner Circle and he already put his slides up. And I gave him a 45-minute hot seat on his slides. I would probably say that was probably worth the price of admission in Inner Circle alone. But like, it's hard to get the feedback if we're just not moving forward. And so I just want to encourage you, the homework does not change. The homework is decide the name and the date and then get your masterclass going. So let's, let's review real quick. I don't know how long this will take. I mean, you know, I am a professional yapper and I would love to get into questions, but we will. Let me, let me go through this. I, I feel like it's gonna be game changer because it's coming from a place of demonstration and, you know, really mastery. But let, let's review the foundations of a masterclass, the foundations of a signature presentation of a webinar, whatever we're choosing to call it, right? Is you have your your introduction, which is typically who you are and why people should listen to you and why people should care about what you're going to talk about. Then there's the slight breaking the barrier, the breaking of the barrier of, hey, at the end of this call, I'm going to give some of you guys an opportunity. It may not be for everyone. It may not be for you, but I just want to let you know upfront at the end of this call, give you an opportunity and we'll do some Q&A. That is like doing those things, doing that. It makes people lean back and say, okay, like they're not going to wonder. You don't— you took away their ability to even wonder what's going to happen at the end of this. You just told them. You just told them what's going to happen, right? And then it's just the actual content itself. You know, what we teach here is 3 or 5 belief-shifting ideas. Belief-shifting, meaning they speak to the excuse or the hesitation a person has with working with you or, or the outcome, like whatever is in their way of the outcome. It's a very simple outcome. I always like coming back to is real estate. It's a very simple outcome. Homeownership. Okay. Why don't people own homes? Well, they think they need a lot of money. Okay. There's a belief shifter. You don't need a lot of money. You don't need a lot of money down. It's not a good market to buy. That's one. My, my— no one in my family has ever owned a home. The people like us, people like me don't buy real estate. Like, so where I live, you know, so there is a lot. And it's so important that we— here's why we need to, like, do the stuff is so we actually get that. We get the language from people. Now, if you guys are new to coaching and consulting or new to your online business, you're gonna use a lot of yourself as the example. You're gonna use a lot of your limiting beliefs that you had about yourself over time. And some of you have been in your industry for a very long time. You have the best use case ever, which is like your actual clients. Whenever you help a client lock in in their fitness lock in in their finances, lock in with their money, lock in with their business. Like, when you help, you, you have literally demonstrated a limiting belief or a breaking through, like, whatever odds that person had from before meeting you or before working with you. But that, that's, that's the main— we're talking about the foundations, and then it's the transition into the next step. The transition into the next step is letting people know what we just learned and what, what you could do at this point. What you could do is just let them go. But this is what I do. I help people. And how cool would it be if we work together and you get the outcome? That's the transition. And then it's just the next step. We've kind of like boiled down next steps to being either— it's one of 4 things. Next steps are either a book a call, an application. So those are, those are two like free next steps, essentially free. They require your attention and time potentially. And then the other two is low ticket or high ticket. So low ticket would be anywhere between whatever number and about $1,000. The way you would sell something low ticket is different than the way you would get somebody to book a call. Or you can also send people to high ticket. Like, I know I've seen people sell things upwards of $6,000 from a single presentation. Now, that means it's really good. That means it's really like the right things is being said and all those things. Someone who just joined the Masterclass of Money last week, he's a luxury real estate agent starting to get into coaching here in Las Vegas. His name is Sam Coleman. He just did it. He had 9 people on, I think he told me, and 1 person bought his $3K coaching offer just in an hour. It's a $3K hour. It's pretty good. I think Kobe Bryant made like the same amount of money on the court. No, I'm just kidding. It was a lot more than that. But that's like, that is the power of it. 9 people. And then he got 2 other people downsold into his lower ticket stuff. So that's the foundations. Like, I mean, at the end, in essence, that's the play we run. I mean, and I didn't come up with this. We got Russell Brunson, The Perfect Webinar, you know, Jason Fladlin, The One to Many book. And then we go way back to Jesus shifting belief by telling stories, getting people to take the next step. Like, so, this stuff has been around forever. And, and so, yeah. But Cedric, did you have something to say? I just—
I had a question. I feel like I have a limiting belief based on what you gave me from before. So I was going to— I'm thinking about boiling my—
you be the first question. Let me get into these like— okay.
Yeah.
Uh, I got you. So let's go through these game-changing masterclass moves. Last week we talked about the biggest mistake people make when it comes to teaching online or teaching in general, and that is overteaching. And how do you fix that? You, you change— you, you switch it from teaching how to teaching why and what and when. But here are some moves that I made while I was doing initially, I started doing the web class in the summer of 2024. It wasn't that long ago. I mean, at this point I've done 25 or 30 iterations of it and I've constantly improved it. But here are a few things I'm going to start with, very tactical, which means anyone can do what I'm about to say. And then the next thing is more mastery. Like these are things that are like at a mastery level. They kind of will super move the needle for you. So the first thing, super practical, is having a countdown with a purpose. A countdown with a purpose. Something that people underutilize is digital real estate. When you have people's attention, you have people's attention. There's nothing wrong with just having a countdown, by the way. Like if you're in the beginning and you just have like a countdown with a type of music that would set the tone, it would set the atmosphere for the call itself. Do that at least minimum, bare minimum. Have a countdown that has music on it that sets the tone of the call. There's nothing more awkward than hopping on a call and it just being like super quiet and weird, right? Like, this is vibes, bro. Like, people like vibes. I don't care who you are. You could be a, you know, super square dude, or you could be someone who actually has rhythm, and it doesn't matter. With both people, it will appreciate that there's some music going. Now, This is something to work backwards from if you have nothing. So when I say a countdown with a purpose, one of the most powerful forms of footage that you can grab of you doing your work is called legacy B-roll. If you are ever delivering, fulfilling, showing up, have someone shoot very professional, level video of you horizontally, not vertically. This is not for social media. This is for the use of things like a countdown that you'll reuse. Now, every time I have an opportunity, we— I make sure that we make sure our video people like Art or Felipe will shoot legacy footage. If I'm speaking in front of a large audience, Don't just film vertically. If I'm doing a family photo shoot, legacy B-roll. If I'm doing a live podcast, if I'm shaking hands with people in the lobby, like things that most people undermine, like, but the why, why, why, Omar, why? Because digital real estate. If the footage, you see the footage when I did the countdowns during the challenges and all that during the masterclass, I'm hanging out with Myron. I'm speaking on stages. I'm fist knuckle to Alex Hormozi. Like, what do you think? Having nothing or having something? Okay, so, and, and by the way, it's re— it's reusable. You do it once and it works forever. And then you can, and then if you're cognizant, update it. But this is just powerful in general. Like just having legacy B-roll in general for future use case is powerful. You could always cut it, you know, you could always crop it in if you want to use it for social media. But the intent is that the shooter, the video person is shooting with intent. They're shooting with the intent that this will be used repeatedly. So it better be super crispy and it better be a dope shot. A countdown with a purpose. We're talking tactics, we're talking practical. That anyone could do. You can also throw huge— let that be a time for testimonials. Testimonials. Like if you have on video people saying something, like lower the volume a little bit and like have people share like the Zoom call, the FaceTime, even like if it's visual, Like, I hope you guys know it doesn't have to be perfect. You could literally copy-paste somebody's text message in text form and then put a, put a photo next to you and them. Like, maybe you took a selfie at one point and it's like, oh my gosh, since coming to your thing, my life has never been the same, @person's name. And like, people, people are reading that while the music's going. I literally, I can't make this up. I love it when people text me or DM me their stuff. Like, I mean, obviously Hattie told me in the DMs, like, how awesome her challenge went. But I got another message from a guy in the Inner Circle. His name is Matt. He said, June, he broke down his, like, June earnings, which is he's at $60K working very, very part-time. And he used to work super full-time. In his business, but he started a new sub-business for his wife. His wife didn't like her job and she was making like around $70, $80K. And now she just launched her thing 2 months ago and is already making $7,700 doing bookkeeping, which coincides with Matt's offer. So now they're working together as a family or as a married couple. It's like a, I was like, dude, I mean, we out here retiring wives, bro. From their jobs. Um, anyway, okay, I'm gonna get off that. Just want you to know, um, you can leverage that. Um, and then, and then another little tactic when it comes to the countdown thing: it's okay to start a little late. Like, it's okay to start like, like 2 minutes— like, when you, when you show up, it's— you can start 2 minutes in. Why? Because, you know, when, when it's on people's calendars and they have their reminder psychologically, and you, you know, you— we all know ourselves, we, we will hop on at 8:01, we will hop on like at the moment, in the minute, and we're putting something. So like, so give, give that margin for you, okay? Another masterclass move that's been game changer is having a quality setup. Again, anyone can do this. When I say having a quality setup, I don't mean state-of-the-art equipment, but I do mean that you look real good compared to anybody else they've seen on Zoom recently. Why? Because it's a pattern interrupt. It's a pattern interrupt to show up on a Zoom call and for somebody to look this good, I feel like I'm watching some YouTube video. But no, I'm actually— we're doing a call right now. I look better than all the guys on ESPN. Like, every time I'm like watching the ESPN or the news is bringing on a guest, I'm like, how sad that they don't understand the, the power of quality that before I open up my mouth, if I'm just standing here and I'm smiling, your brain is going, what in the world? Is that a fake background? Is that AI? Is that Superman curl on purpose on Omar's forehead? I don't know, I'm just kidding. Uh, but I literally, I'm like, I like ESPN, you guys are like in a dungeon. With like a baked potato camera and you're like, you're on live national television. What are we talking about? But here's a quality set. I am a firm believer that if you have quality content, that it draws in a quality human being and it also directly correlates to the quality of your life. And if you want a wholesome message, like, I know some people are going to go mid-ticket, low-ticket route for like building their online businesses and stuff like that. But like, if you're in the business of premium or if you're trying to, if you're trying to separate yourself from the rest visually, you can do that audibly, like making sure it sounds good. You can do that. But when I, when I think about needle movers, like something that just absolutely changes the game, it would be getting a teleprompter, getting a teleprompter and looking people in their eyes on a call. It is hard to quantify the ROI that I've made in my business by having a teleprompter because I'm actually able to connect. I'm actually able to look you in the eye and see the feedback and see the feedback from the people that are on a call. This is how I— Omar, how did you get so good at communication? Well, every time I show up, I want to make sure I'm seeing human beings so I could see their reaction. I could see their head nods. I could see their reactions. I could— this is— there's so much power in the two-way conversation. Where you're head nodding and you're pointing and you're laughing is actually part of this thing. I, and again, I'll take questions at the end. I just, I just want you to know, having you do all this work, get the slides done, do the this and the that, and then, and then you, and then it's like you're way over here, the sound sounds like far. Like, let, let it work for you. Let the gear and the tech work for you, and, and so that you can stay— you can focus on the content. This is like one-and-done stuff though, like, it's like one and done. You set up the thing and then it's good, you know. Um, but I just, I just think having a quality setup, it creates an experience. People will just take you more legitimate, more legit, just right up, right up front. They'll just be like, oh, this is like Oh, this ain't no just like, I'm not just hopping on a call here. This is like an actual class. This is an actual, yes. 'Cause everything we do here is legit. The next tactical thing, I know, and then I'll go Mastery, trust me. I know you guys love the big, I just wanted to give it, it didn't matter. This doesn't matter who you are, okay? The next is do a Zoom call, not a Zoom webinar. This is in the settings when, when you set up the link for your masterclass or your webinar. I know we use words like webinar, but don't do a Zoom webinar, do a Zoom call. I'm gonna tell you why I do a Zoom call. Even by the way, I know most people aren't gonna do the, the volume of number that, of that, that I do. Like, I mean, I'm not saying that to sound arrogant, like literally we, we'll have 700 people in our first masterclass calls leading up into a challenge. I, it, it's expensive, but I'd rather see faces than just go one, one directional. By the way, like when you do a Zoom webinar, it feels like you're just alone and then you just see the amount, the amount of participants and, and that's it. You just see the amount, amount of participants and then no one's concerned about turning on cameras. Cameras. No one could see themselves, no one could see others. I'm just— I'm out here trying to create an experience. And by doing a Zoom webinar where it's one-directional— which, by the way, if you, if you do an event with thousands and thousands of people, you, you can do it where you get to see the, the, their faces, they just can't see other people's faces. And it's like a very— I don't know, you guys have probably been on webinars where it's just like you feel like you're in a tunnel vision. Like when we do it, when we do a, when we do automated challenges and automated web classes, that's the experience people have. Just there's nothing wrong with it. But my thing is, if you're in the season of like bettering your masterclass, like connect with them, do a Zoom call over a Zoom webinar, and then you could call out people's names. Tori and Patrick and Bert and Rob. Jamara. Like, when people hear their names, oh my gosh, you go, oh. Even if somebody's not calling you and they're calling somebody else— a funny story about this, um, anytime somebody from a distance yells oh my gosh, before they get to the gosh, my neck just snaps. Oh my— and then gosh. Oh, I thought they were calling home. I thought they were calling me. I don't know, that was just growing up. I just always like, uh Another funny story. I promise I'm moving on. One time, what I've just told you to do a call and not a webinar, it bit me in the butt. It bit us in the butt. This is a funny story and it's not a fun— I tell this story because you don't— it's important that you guys learn from either our mistakes or this crazy stuff that has ever happened. One time we did a call. This was fall. Of 2024. It was one of the bigger calls we've done, and I'm looking at the— I'm looking like, you know, I'm looking at people's faces and stuff, and then literally I see a naked dude beating his meat on a couch. Like, literally I see it while I'm doing the call. You guys are like, I never thought something like that would come out of Omar's mouth. Well, It only came outta my mouth because it like actually happened. So then I'm like, that can't be real. And so I'm like, I'm DJing my call and we also have like people on the backend and stuff. Or maybe Sophie, was this earlier last year? I forget. Oh wait, 'cause Sophie, you were around for this, right? Yes, it was a masterclass call. Like the 5 mistakes. It was horrible. Yeah, so then I'm like, hit the triple dot, try to turn off their camera. And then another guy shows up. This time he's like right in front of his camera, like beating his meat. And Felipe is gonna put music over this clip right now, okay? And I kid you not, guys, it got to the point where it was like there was like 6 guys, all, all pornographic, like crazy stuff happening. And, and literally, I had— I obviously paused, and I was just like, what the heck is happening right now? And here's what's cool, uh, here's what's cool, what's cool about this, Omar, um, what's crazy about this is everyone in the chat— and this is why I love— this is what I love about building a personal brand and putting your beliefs out there and standing for what you believe in and what you stand against, and The people in the chat were just like, everyone needs to start praying right now. This call has been taken over by demonic activity. And people were— people were— and then, you know, people were praying in the chat. No one left the call. And then we just— we just obviously booted and blocked everybody, even though it took a while. Like, you would boot them out and then they somehow had a way of coming back in. It was crazy. It was like the craziest thing. Anyway, I tell that story to say, if we did a webinar, it wouldn't have mattered. I mean, but, but willing to pay the price to connect. And let me tell you what, it's stuff like that people never forget. Not even just me, obviously. I never forget it. But like, I created an unforgettable experience. I was, I was responsible for that. And, and even just how I handled it, how the team handled it with— we weren't— we didn't panic. I mean, you'll find me like most of the team, like the team have seen— has seen me in like times where I get like kind of flustered, but when it's super high pressure, I usually don't get flustered because I just know that, you know, it's just not going to help anything. And, um, but that was— that was actually insane. So Omar, what does that have to do with the actual— it has nothing to do with it. So I just had to tell that story. But that literally, that genuinely happened. And then it was like, what the heck? I'd like to know what were our numbers during that web class? Okay, so next thing, last thing on the tactical practical side of things. Again, anyone can do this. When you get to the point where you're talking about the next step, spam the chat with your link. Spam the chat with your link. Like, it should just be the only thing. Now, it would be helpful to maybe have somebody help you, but you can have— you can just Command+V, Enter, Command+V, Enter, Command+V, Enter, Command+V, Enter, because people are there, they're thinking, Sometimes what you don't realize, especially for people that are selling like online offers, like low ticket or mid ticket or high ticket or whatever, and it's not a book a call, is it could be one thing you say that makes them click the link. And if the link isn't accessible when you say the one thing, you don't want them to have to scroll up through the chat and try like that. That's making them work part, part huge, huge part of this. I'm kind of getting into the master— mastery, but a huge part of this is that it's easy to work with you. And that means not only with what you say, but also with what you do. Oh wow, the link's right there and the link is staying right there. Now you could pin a link on Zoom, but I, in my, in my opinion, it's not the same. Still pin it. But like, dude, spam the chat. I remember— no shade, this is no shade to Neil. Neil had his huge online webinar he did a couple of months ago, sold out his 1,000-person event with one masterclass. I'll say that Neil sold an in-person 1,000+ person event, sold it out with one webinar. This is like, this stuff freaking works. Now, I was here, obviously they were conducting it in the auditorium, and I was just— I would like— the team— and this is not Neil's fault, but the team would only wait to show the screen with like the QR code. But like, there are things that came out of Neil's mouth that like, when he would talk about the power of getting in the room and he would talk about this guest is showing up and then the guest would show up on the call and say, man, I'm so excited to be at Forward 2026. And like there's nothing going on the link, it's just fire emojis from everybody. It's like, no, no, no, no, no, no. It could be the moment you announce Ed Mylett's the keynote, somebody's gonna want, and then you just need to put the link, just. I know that's like super practical tactical, but some people will miss out on a sale simply because the link wasn't accessible in the moment. In the moment they felt everything they needed to, to make a next step click. Spam the chat. Spam the chat. Okay. I'm gonna transition into mastery and then we'll, we'll get into some Q&A and then we'll, we'll hop on outta here. So now this is like the, the Game of Inches stuff. Now this is the stuff where like you, you need to become the person that just naturally does this stuff. I don't want anyone to be conscious about what I'm going to talk about next. The goal is to arrive to a place where you subconsciously just do. It's just, it's just a part of who you are, it's a part of who you've become. And, um, there's nothing that sells more than subconscious confidence? Nothing. Where you're not thinking about selling, you're not thinking about what you're saying. You don't— you've hit— you hit a level. But this is— this is— these are the masterclass moves that I made that made a huge tweak. or made a huge impact on the numbers. But number one was deciding on what was the first thing out of my mouth. What was the first thing that I'm gonna say? For the first few dozen, the first thing out of my mouth was, where are you watching from? And then I had a conversation with Marcus Y. Rozier, one of my friends— his conversations in the classroom, by the way, it's so good— and he said, arguably, debatably, if that's a word, the first thing out of your mouth is the most important thing you can say on your masterclass. So if you're using the opportunity to say, where are you watching from? I was like, dang, dude, you got me. He said, have them do something that sets the tone for the call. So where I used to say, where are you watching from? I now say, throw a $100K in the chat. That's the first thing out of my mouth. First thing. And by the way, there's a few reasons why we want to do this. Now, the first reason is— the biggest reason is it, it just sets the tone. I'm not here to mess around. Comment what you're drinking. What are you drinking? Put it in the chat. What the heck? What are we doing? Um, the first thing that comes out of your mouth it, like, use it wisely. Now, one cool thing that also— so I said the $100K thing. One, one thing is it sets the tone. It makes people know, like, oh, I'm here for— I'm here to grow my money. I'm here, I'm here for money conversations. I'm here for money learnings. Okay, the second is when somebody hops on a call and the chat is just going $100K, $100K, $100K at 8:03. AM or 10:03, whenever we do our call. Can you imagine what person's thinking, what they just walked into? What the heck did I just walk into? Everyone's going 100K in the chat. Now I know, I understand that, like, I get the— we get the volume of people to come, and so it— we get that experience, right? That which is something that you guys will— you're working toward. By the way, you can get there with paid ads, but I know some of you guys want to, you know, test it first with your world and all that stuff, but, but just people are like, whoa, what the— what did I just walk into? Um, so I used to think it was a good idea to like throw where you're watching from. Oh, Nigeria. Oh, we got New York. Oh, we got— no, throw a 100K in the chat. By the end of this call, you're going to learn how to make your next, your first, or another 100K. Let's go. Like, just set the table. The next— so that— and this just goes to like understanding that words can be wasted. I want you to know that you can literally waste words. You can waste people's time, and you can waste their time when you have their attention by using the wrong words that don't serve either of you. Use words that will serve them. Use words that will serve you. It'll change the way you'll start being more cognizant. I don't want you to overthink these things. I want you to just become the person that just automatically goes like, every time I get a speaking engagement, the first thing I think of is who's in the room? What's the first thing out of my mouth? The next thing, mastery level, is just knowing your numbers. I used to— I mean, the— I let other people used to care about knowing numbers. But what I mean by knowing numbers, how many people signed up? I mean, how we can even back it up, how many pieces of content and emails did you send out promoting this thing? That's a number. How many people signed up? How many people showed up? How many people stayed on at the time of the offer or the time of the transition? Meaning they essentially stayed through the presentation. Because if you get the data to know that you started with 60 and by the time you got to the offer, it was— there's 20— that informs you that you need to change the delivery of your points. You did something that made people stop caring. How many people are on by the end of the call? By the end of the call. These are, these are numbers. Just by seeing these numbers, you, you can easily make the tweak. So, oh, I'm sorry, how many people bought? So how many people were on at the time of the offer? How many people actually took the offer based on who were on at the time of the offer? So there's two kinds of conversion numbers. The conversion of how many people were on the call which is kind of, you know, honestly, like, I'll do a call, a masterclass call with 300 people, but there would have been 450 unique people that came in and out. So a lot of the times I'm more concerned with the number of people who are on at the time of the offer and then how many people bought at that moment. Um, so, so knowing these numbers help us tweak things. Like, I was, I was stuck at a 10%, 11% conversion. And I made a tweak this last round. Many of you guys witnessed and didn't know, but I added a bonus, which was a bonus call the following day with everyone who was joining right now. If you join after this call, you don't get to come on this bonus call. So that, that, that not, not, not only did that add more, uh, a level of urgency and scarcity is it also created more time with people. I got to, I hung out with an additional hour, like with the challenge already being 10 hours if you do VIP, I gave people an opportunity to spend another hour with me, which conversion yields immersion or immersion yields conversion. So I leveraged something that helped me increase sales to also help me increase sales. Later on. But knowing your numbers, knowing your numbers, knowing your numbers, just because, because you don't want to— you shouldn't be disappointed that 10 people showed up to your call. You should be disappointed that everyone left by the time you got to the offer. So like, you don't— you definitely don't have a marketing problem. You have a, you have a potential presentation problem. Okay, knowing your numbers. Number 2, number 3, don't just ask them to respond. Give them what to say in response. Don't just ask for a response. Don't just ask an open-ended question. No, tell them what to type. Tell them what to say. This is Mastery of Communication stuff. Can I get an amen? Amen. Like, people, they just do when you give them the words to say, when you give them the words to type. Do you know what you're doing? You are teaching them that learning from you is easy. If you want to blow up your YouTube channel in 2026, put a me in the chat. Not anybody here struggling with YouTube. Like, who here thinks YouTube is hard? No, like, I'm, I'm telling you, when you, when you ask open-ended questions You cause people to think. Thinking from a learner's standpoint of things communicates difficulty. There should be such a flow when you're presenting in— but this goes both in person and, and online. Obviously we're in the context of MasterClass, but it should just be a flow. That's why I'd rather you say put a 1 in the chat than say nothing at all. Now, even by the way, this even goes to say kind of back to what I was mentioning about the first thing outta your mouth. Like you can give them things to put in the chat that actually move 'em toward a yes. Even the word yes. Sales is a series of yeses. One of the things I saw from Jason's slides is one of his last points, one of the call to actions was to put the word no in the chat. I want people, we need people to be so far removed from the idea of no that everything is yes. Everything, everything, every question. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. No open-ended questions. I found this, it's crazy. Like, one of you, some of you guys will speak in public and I, trust me, you'll even see it. Like, you'll see a communicator who's not telling people the actual word to say back, but it'll get awkward. I have this friend who teaches, he teaches kind of like how to grow a media business with YouTube. He's kind of an OG. I'm not going to use his name, but he's so bad at this. Every time I'm in like a ballroom with him, which has been plenty of times over the years, he just will do that throughout his presentation. Like, you— I could just tell you don't understand sales by just this. Like, if you don't understand sales as a communicator by this, I just want you to know the goal is to get people to yes, yes, yes. You walk into a Rolex, would you like something and a drink? Yes. Hey Ruby, would you like a chocolate? Yes. Uh, yeah, you know, is there any watches for sale? This case? Yes. Has the watches for sale. Everything else is exhibition. Uh, okay. Well, you know, how hard is it to get this watch? It's kind of hard, but I could put you on the waitlist. Would you like to get on the waitlist? Yes. Before I know it, I walked into a store and I spent $15,000 eventually. But it was just, it was just yeses along the way. You're not, you're not so cool because there is a time and place where no matters. I understand, like, you know, you wanting to maintain quality, you know, there is like, but even then even then you could still be yes-centric, even if no is important to protect the brand. I understand brand, of course, but you— it— I mean, I can't stress that enough. Like, to, to create in a person's mind that learning from you feels good. Oh my goodness. Like, by being under your communication, being under your authority, I felt empowered. I felt excited. I felt, uh, smarter. I like— and it's— and this, this goes— this— where does this come from? This comes from caring. Like, I, I, if you care this much as a communicator, you, it will, it will come off in your way of teaching. But this is huge. I'll speak, I'll speak at conferences. I'll say, um, lunch. Wow. Even after lunch, especially after lunch, I'll come up after a lunch session and, you know, people are just, it's done. By the way, here, here's some Here's some inner circle game for you guys, okay? If any of you guys put together like an in-person event— I'm not talking— Tori, if you're doing like retreats and stuff, don't worry about it, but like in-person events. But you can probably attest to this: after you feed people, it's game over. So what I do is I will put on events, arrive from 8 to 9, and like hang out and stuff, But it's just like 9 to 2, 9 to 2, 2:30, and people appreciate that. You actually— I can— I actually will say this: if you can't get people what they need within those 4 hours, 5 hours, whatever you do in the next 2 or 3 hours after that will probably rip up whatever they should have taken because of their grogginess, their— the, the the fire hose of the experience like this, this, but this, I've become hyper-aware of myself in learning environments like that. But also I know what it's like. I know that you only need one thing. You guys know this, right? Like we do all this stuff as entrepreneurs, we do all this stuff as online Brands, and we do all this stuff just so people can get the one thing they need. Now, that could be anything, and we want to make sure that we create the context that that one thing happens. But I remember literally, uh, Jason was on the call earlier. Um, he's in the Inner Circle, and he came to the first Content Mastery workshop we did, or he— that he got access to. And we didn't even start yet. And he said, I got what I needed during the coffee time or the breakfast. Literally, I got what I— I literally got what I came here for. I was like, great, everything else is gravy. But this— I mean, I'm under the tip. Don't just ask them to respond, give them what to say in response. Just Get, get, become, start everything you do with a call and response. If you're ready, say I'm ready. Like, you just, you, it just, it's crazy how it works, um, but it works. The next, next thing, give a reason for everything. Give a reason for everything. Jason said, feels like a hip-hop concert. Funny, uh, maybe you guys didn't know this, this is not in my master class, but I used to be a hype man. I used to— my friends used to rap in high school and in college, and I didn't know how to rap. I just, I knew how to hype up. I knew the lyrics and I knew I could say the last word to every lyric, and I knew that I could, uh, yeah, I don't even know if I could find it. I mean, it's so deep, I wouldn't even be able to find it. But anyway, yes, uh, just like a hip-hop. But give a reason for everything. By the way, these reasons should come off in your content. So give, give people a reason Give people reasons to come to the call, not just that it's happening. Like, there should be— this is— this goes into messaging, like the power of getting in the room, how one idea can shift everything, a story from a person that actually came to this call in the past. Like, this, this gives people reasons. Reasons come before results. Give people reasons. Omar, I put my date on the calendar and I just said it was happening. Okay, you will get a certain level of human paying attention to you with that effort. But if you think through, give people reasons, um, give people reasons to stay. I'm talking about masterclass moves that made a huge difference. Give people a reason to stay. Reasons. And now it doesn't have to be like, I use a giveaway and then I also do like my travel podcast thing, which by the way, the travel podcast list, this is power framing. It means nothing or there is no value in it if I don't frame what I'm giving away with value. I'm gonna say that again. If you give away something, that's free, but you don't frame the value of it, that's on you. Your words need to create the value for the thing you're giving away. For example, did you know that one of the greatest tax strategies you can have in your business is to have a podcast? No, I literally asked, you know, my tax strategist, and he, you know, he said, I said, if I have a podcast and I go on vacation, but I'm filming a podcast with a guest on a vacation, can I write off that trip? He said, absolutely you can. So I've actually combined— I've put together my travel podcast setup so that you can go on the road, go to your conferences, and just film conversations. Like, who wants this podcast setup now? You know, like everybody does. But if I just said, hey, I use I, I, I, I have a Google Sheet with a list of gear that could help your business. Want, want. Power words. The same substance, different framing. Framing is framing, framing, framing, man. That's like, there, that is a— the great, the, the most highest paid people in any industry are people who understand framing, because we all sell the same thing. Especially if we really boil it down, we all sell health, wealth, or relationships. That's it. Like, I don't care who you is, like, it all comes down to one of those three categories, or, or, or a hybrid of, of few, but it really comes down to those. So, so how are people getting high? Why are, why are people more higher paid Like, it's, it's hilarious. Like, I, I, I, I see a lot of the times, uh, you know, Reels right now where people are like ranking different content coaches, which I realize, like, I'm not a content coach anymore. I know that, like, I've, I've removed myself from that conversation, but I, I know a lot of their money situation because a lot of those content coaches have reached out to me and asked me how I'm doing it. But the biggest thing is, like, I understand framing. You, you, you, you, you're not thinking at the highest level for the person you're speaking to. You're thinking from your, your level. But that's what creatives do. Artists, look at my painting. I spent a week on this painting. Therefore, the time I spent on this painting determines the value that I'm charging. Who cares? Because that banana with duct tape over it was— or like the egg was like the most liked image on Instagram was like a picture of an egg. Okay, like, so it, it doesn't matter how much time you put into the thing. Framing, framing, framing. Um, if you guys ever stay under my coaching, you will that, I mean, some of the skills, it's honestly transference of skills is just understanding how you can frame something and differently. When I say give people reasons for everything, like different reasons, give people different reasons to show up, give people different reasons to stay, give people a reason to buy or take the next step. Just asking to take the next step Is it enough? Sometimes I loved, uh, Jason's— what you called your next step free call. You didn't just say book a call, you said book your dreams and future call, or you call it something like that. Like, you just made, you just made it a better name. That giving it a name, framing it, gives people a reason.
Dreams and goals call.
Dreams and goals call. Yeah, yeah. Um, I was at a coffee shop last week, as I typically find myself in at time, from time to time, because I coffee. And they had this like offer, this coffee shop, and it was essentially buying like a bunch of pastries and 2 crafts of coffee. And, and, you know, like it was just like a, like a little, a thing you can order to bring to the office, bring to a party, bring to a, um, a family or whatever function. And they called it the Office Hero pack. I was like, this is brilliant, because most people will just call this catering. You can call it catering, or you can attach an identity to it, which immediately when I read it, it said Office Hero, I literally thought of myself walking into the studio and telling Neil and the boys and Art, hey guys, on me. Like, it's, it's power when you guys understand and really become mastery at the use of words. Everything will change. Um, so, but just give people a reason. And a lot of time those reasons are just based with our words. It's literally, it's the words we give for people to show up. But sometimes if you want, you, you can do something free. Um, that's valuable, that might cost you something, but it's free. Because if you guys are new in the season, maybe you sell a mid-ticket thing or a low-ticket thing, but you will throw a one-on-one strategy session. Like, if you're in that season, do it, because that strategy session is going to give you so much insight for when you don't need to do it, because you got so much insight from doing it consistently. Now you could speak to people um, you could speak to the masses more, more specifically. That only happens when you, when you hear the conversations and when you hear it coming out of people's mouths. Uh, second to last thing is just testimonials, proof. One of the— I, I will personal grade Omar Omar's personal grading of himself when it comes to consolidating stories and testimonials through the years: D-minus, straight up. Like, I've helped so many people, it's insane. I have crazy stories that I've forgotten, and I wish I was hyper-aware to know. I wish I had somebody like what I'm telling you right now tell me. That you need to document these stories and tell these stories. Like, at some point you don't have to sell. At some point they will sell for you. Like, I mean, I literally— I'm grading myself D-minus. Tori, 2 weeks ago you were like, yeah, we threw an offer at the back end of this retreat we put on, and we never did that before, and we made like $100 grand. And I'm like, I need to go into my masterclass file, which is 2 weeks and I haven't done it yet. That's why, like, I'm the worst. I'm just like, woohoo, we're helping people. Um, but I, in my presentation, with your permission, I would like to say that Tori, from taking the VIP challenge, added $100,000 to her business with one move. Is that fair to say? So I'm just saying, like, when it happens, guys, just like have a system in place, whether you use AI to just like— you could tell AI, maybe you have like a Claude thing that's just testimonies and you can just share like, hey, this person— I think what's really cool about using AI for testimonies is you can probably— it could probably connect the dots to a person if you keep helping them win. I mean, the reality is every time I hop on calls, like especially Inner Circle calls, It's just win after win after win after win. It's— it sometimes will go 30, 40 minutes, and I'm like, dude, I have to teach, I have to teach, guys. Like, um, but you know, I've, I've gotten too comfortable with that, by the way, for whatever it's worth. Um, but, uh, yeah, anyway, just testimonial. Okay, last thing. I saved the best for last. I saved the best for last. This was probably worth everything I paid David to help me craft the signature presentation he helped me do, which was over $200,000 when it was all said and done after how much we paid them. You may have heard me say it before, but this is worth the $5K of this program right here. Sit in the sale. Sit in the sale. I used to do my web classes, give the offer, and say peace out, y'all, with literally hundreds, hundreds of people still on. Imagine for a second you have 60 people on a call and you gave your whole thing and you went through your whole thing in the, in the context of a real shopping experience, and you say, hey, everybody out, we're closed. And they were still browsing. They had stuff in their hands. They just weren't ready to check out yet. They just needed to ask somebody something. Sitting in the sale has made me a multimillionaire. Another, another plain way to say this is Q&A. Just, just get to Q&A. Get to it. You're not too big to do Q&A, which, by the way, that, like, my piece of humble pie was me trying to be like Myron. Because Myron will do his challenge and he'll give his offer and he'll have a golf tee time booked and he'll give his offer and he's like, at this point, guys, like, I mean, I got, I got it. I got it. I got a tee time right now. And if, if what you learned wasn't enough to do business together, that's totally fine. I'm glad that you came to the Offer Mastery, whatever his offer challenge, Make More Offers Challenge. And I was like, oh dude, I'm going to freaking put that Myron energy I just know. So like, I mean, you guys were on the offer call in the inner, uh, during the challenge. I think I went 90 minutes sitting in the sale because I realized that one, one thing can move the needle. One, uh, which by the way, I have this document that the team created through using, uh, AI. And it, it's taken all my sitting in the sales from, from the last 3 challenges, and it's told me the, the question a person's asking and then the belief that needed to be shifted from the question. At some, at some point, you'll get so good that you'll have your tailor-made responses to handling these objections. And sometimes it's just a little thing. It's like Uh, I'm just, yeah, I'm just thinking about like the calls. The calls are at 8 AM and, uh, sometimes I take my kids to school. Oh dude, I mean, there's people that take the, they take the call with their kids in the background and they're listening to HighLevel conversations. We also record the calls so you can watch them later, time code it. Um, if you have a question and you can't actually ask it, you can just send it beforehand, or content, send it beforehand. Done. Okay, next one. Yeah, I mean, yeah, it's a, it's a lot. That's a lot. $20,000, $25,000 is a lot of money. It is, but it's not $25,000, it's only $2,000. Like, it's $2,000 for you to get on next week's call. Do you feel like you could probably get enough insight between now and a month from now from being in the Inner Circle. And, but okay, move on to the next one. Like, and, and by the way, I, I love, I love, uh, calling people out. Hey Lori, what's on your mind? Like, what, what came to mind? I, I literally, no wrong answers, I just would love to know what, like, what's on your mind. Yeah, no, I mean, I would love to do this, but okay, but yeah, but what You know, I mean, that's what my ears are doing. I'm not like forcing it, but I'd love to do this. I just need to talk to my husband. Of course. Of course you need to talk to your husband. Here's what I want to encourage you with is I would encourage you with, uh, you're not asking your husband for permission because if you're on the same team, you would ask it as a we. How can we do this? Not how can I do this? So ask your husband, how can we do this? I believe this can change our lives forever. And then get back to me. Right. So like, but I just wouldn't even like give room for that. And I'm just telling you that it's— it argued— I will— I actually think Jason Fladland would say the same thing. He would argue that the whole point of doing the presentation is to get to that moment. Where you can work with people and show them that you actually genuinely care. That's sitting in the sale, uh, letting— you can literally ask if you feel it's right, is you can ask people why they didn't do it. Is it— is there a reason why, uh, you didn't book a call? Let me know. Let me know. I mean, I would love to know. Yeah, I just, I think I only saw the, the time 3 o'clock available. Okay, what time works for you? Okay, I'll send you an invite. Like, like sometimes like we will get off a call and somebody will literally tell us something that situational, but this, this is sales. This is sales. And so those are some mastery moves that made me millions. That's how I should have started the call. I think that's like that. See how framing, the framing comes after mastery moves that made me millions. We'll, we'll, we'll name the upload of this, that, and, um, the, like, I know, I know it was like a long list. I'm telling you, you guys are bringing— what you guys paid for is the awareness to not waste. I literally read in Proverbs today, um, he is in isolation, seeks his own desire. Look at this, 18:1, it says Whoever isolates himself seeks his own desire and breaks out of all sound judgment. Like, you can't— when you do things alone, you can't move in sound judgment. You will just move in chaos. And so many of getting in a room like this, uh, many of getting in a room like this is just getting the, getting the ability to make sound calls, sound, sound moves, sound decisions, which I mean, we can all agree that the, the cost of chaos is very expensive. The cost of not knowing is very expensive. So I know that's what, that's why it was a lot and then you want to chew on it. But if you have any questions about anything in regards to this stuff, Please raise your hand. Sophie, you could throw 15 minutes on the clock. We'll get to Cedric. What's up, bro?
Hey, so I was thinking about moving and this is like giving me total clarity now. So I was thinking about moving my 5 mistakes to 3, but knowing that like, I mean, I guess not knowing, but this is just a limiting belief. Just letting you know ahead of time, I don't feel like that I— like, how would you essentially make that effective with, with just 3 instead of 5, right? Because my thought process with like each mistake is like, all right, some of them are, um, beliefs that they have, and then some of them are the more like tactical things. Like, hey, you believe it's oversaturated, uh, some of you believe that more, more leads equals more deals, in which You know, it doesn't. Thinking you need to be a sales expert, not knowing how to get sellers to find you, and then you don't have a proven lead conversion system, right? So it's like, I feel like those are needed, but then something in me is like, man, do I keep these? Because like, if they're here, maybe they don't believe it's oversaturated, or maybe that's just like me thinking. But I'm like, all right, 3 tactical things and then 2 mind shifters was kind of like my thing. That I was thinking.
Yeah. No, it was good, dude. Great question. Um, a few things come to mind. The first practical thing is I would ask someone you know that like came on the web class you did at one point and just ask 'em like, what do you remember about it? Um, what really, you know, drove home with you? I think it's important to get that feedback from people who've actually been on it. Um, as we've been working through, and I forgot to mention this, we've been working through a form that we created by Lovable that's connected to some of the brain of Omar's thing. And the idea is that it's supposed to like just shoot you out kind of like your outline. It really showed that the mind shifts that need to be influenced, it's mind shifts in relation to time, effort, or possibility. Effort and possibility is like, like the process, like that they need to think it's easier. They need to think that they are, they're ready right now. So like, that's more like effort and ease. Time, effort, and money. So like, in essence, uh, That's 3, right? Like, I mean, you could probably hit all 3 very strong. And the reason is, is because like, that's, that's just, that's, that's the top objections, the top objections of all time, like time, my current circumstance, and, and like, yeah, money, you know, I don't have the money or, you know, money in general. So, so I mean, all that to say that that's the goal is to just shift, making sure that we shift those 3 beliefs or we, we address them, I guess is the word. Want to address those beliefs, objections, obstacles, excuses for some, the other stuff. Like, let's just say if we're adding 2 more, like how, you know, I have 5. I think some of it is it just helps the offer. I mean, they all should, they all, all your points should help your offers. Like if, oh, you know, it's too oversaturated. Day 1 of the challenge, you're going to know your, you're going to know your message. You're going to know your, you're going to know who you're talking to. Yeah. So like I say all that to say, I think that's it. I mean, If it's converting, it's converting, bro. That's my, that's the other side of it. Um, you know, Kyler, what's up?
Yo, thanks for today. Um, my question is, what are your thoughts on doing a 30-day $1,000 challenge versus a $100 5-day challenge like you did? Um, I'm new to selling one-to-many and I know this offer, this 30-day offer kind of works. So my thought was, hey, join the, you know, my high ticket, try it out for 30 days, love it or leave it. And that's like the challenge and that's like a $1,000 deposit to the annual thing. But I just wanna get your two cents cuz yeah, I just like came up with this idea.
Yeah, no, it's great. I mean, I, I will, let's categorize this question. I just wanna be very clear that we're categorizing this question as a speculative question. It's one of those things where, you know, find out by trying. Um, the first thing that comes to mind though, like based on like what I've seen pattern-wise, is who it attracts. Um, when, when you're selling like 30 days for $1,000 in my mind is like a— it could be, it could be like it could attract the wrong person, number one, because if you want to help people a little more high level, a lot of them don't have a lot of time. So I mean, I even think there's a flaw in the 5-day challenge for me, and that's a super high-level person who ain't got no 5 days to sit on a Zoom call. So you add like the extra, you know, 25 days you're going to get a certain type of person. Now, like, this all is just reverse engineering the person you want to serve or like this and in the season you're in. But I imagine that $1,000 for a month communicates cheap just from the jump, you know, like, and, and that could— it could. I'm just, you know, again, it's a speculative question. Totally. And then the other thing I have in mind is Parkinson's Law. Parkinson's Law states people will accomplish whatever task is at hand based on the time allotted to accomplish the task. So, yeah, so I mean, there was this couple in our, in our inner circle for a year. They were in from like fall of '24 to like fall of last year, I think. And they had— they have a— they have a gym. And they, they're like grinding their face off doing 4 AM classes and then taking a nap break in the middle of the day. And I'm like, dude, you can make so much money online with fitness and nutrition and all that stuff. And so they, they were like, okay, we'll do a challenge. They did a 6-week challenge for like $300. And which is fine, but in my head I'm like, you didn't need to do that. Because now you feel— you potentially feel trapped having to show up for these people, not having to, but like, I'm like, she's checking the meals. I'm like, dude, this challenge, this 6-week challenge should be the $2,000, $3,000 offer. And then you can just do a 3-day thing that gets people set up to be successful during the 6-week thing. But again, we most, most of us move based on what we believe. And I know because I saw Brock Johnson recently do like a 30-day Reels challenge kind of thing, but he sells super low ticket. He sells like a monthly recurring community at like $20 a month at mass volume. So like that's the game he's playing and that's awesome. But that's the first thing that came to mind. I would almost rather I would almost rather you do a shorter thing and sell us a 30-day thing or 45. Like, I'd rather your, your offer be a 45-day offer or a 60-day offer just because in a person's mind, I mean, that's, that's something I, by the way, for whatever it's worth, I'll be very— whenever we get into these rooms, I'm like zero, super zero filter. One of the biggest downsides to having a year-long program is that, uh, is that, yeah, sometimes people like take the year for granted. That the fact that they have a year, they, they will take it for granted because of Parkinson's Law. It's not even— it's not my fault, it's literally how God governed humanity. So that's why I did this. I did this because it was like, dude, I'm gonna give you guys a window of time to like actually do. And I think those are great offers. Great offers, meaning the outcome is very, very, very clear. Like, you will launch your profitable YouTube channel in 45 days. Like, you will launch your podcast or your personal brand foundation will be set. And like, obviously, I mean, as you work through this stuff, you'll be more aware. I have not introduced a lower offer like this. It's taken 2.5, 3 years, bro. So like that, the amount of money I left on the table because I was just so focused on making sure Inner Circle was— had the guardrails it needed to be successful so that we could steward the community well. And I was just— I'm just patient in that. But I wouldn't— that's just me. I mean, I probably— I wouldn't go $1,000, 30 days. I would go— I would go $500 tiny challenge. I'd go $500 regular challenge. To a, a more $5,000, $7,000, $9,000, $90,000 thing. I would rather you do that.
And just so you know, because my, yeah, my, my annual offer, I wanted it to be— and this is new, right? I haven't sold annually before or one-to-many, but I wanted to be $10,000 for the year. And my thought was it's way easier to ask for $1,000 than it is $10,000. Like you said, like, oh, you only pay $2,000 as a deposit. But I'm like, okay, what are you gonna get with that? So that's why I was thinking the 30 days, but I understand what you're saying though.
Yeah.
It's almost too cheap.
Yeah. Yeah. If you equate, if you make your pricing based on time and not based on outcome, it will, and this is like a mind thing to do because like we think that's just how we are, we're naturally, we were trained to think time is money. And it's not, um, time is infinitely more valuable than money. And if, yeah, cuz the, so they come in for 30 days and in your mind you're thinking that they'll stay at $1,000 for the rest of the year? No.
Uh, so, um, my, so, uh, the offer is Podcast to Profit and I thought, great. Okay. What, how would I break this up into chunks? Well, they need a launch, right? So, My idea was I present the, the $10K offer, uh, like you did, but then I say, okay, but today you're only paying $1,000 and you get it, love it or leave it. If you love this for 30 days, you stay and you pay the rest. If you, or leave it, no hard feelings.
And, uh, all that stuff is great. I, I think that, yeah, that's totally fine. That it kind of goes back to reasons. Give people reasons to pay in full. I'm just letting everyone know here, the game truly, is because there is no cost of fulfillment really. So you gotta be okay with being able to create, you know, have things in your offer that incentivize people to pay in full, err toward people paying in full. Just like, just think like the $10K, $9K, that's a swipe, bro. People can pay that all day, especially when you're thinking business owners. That's like, that's one deal, that's one client. That's— and then you got to paint that picture. But like, the idea is like, the idea is when they buy this, they're thinking this in with one Breakthrough Podcast, with one episode, with one clip from a podcast, like everything could pay for itself. So like that is a mind state people need to be in based on your words. When they get to the offer. Yeah, the thing with a payment plan, there's nothing wrong with a payment plan, but I just, I don't, I don't, I don't want to adhere to that group. I'd rather, I'd rather get somebody who's even considering a payment plan to just pay in full. Like, I will, you know, and, and that comes at a cost. What's the cost Omar's willing to do? Well, if you pay in full, I'll do a one-on-one in-person strategy session with you, which like That's— I could have a VIP day offer that like is worth $25K alone. But you know, to me, that, that's something I'm okay with, with giving. So yeah. Does that help?
Yeah, I think I just— my limiting beliefs of what I could charge. And now that you're saying it out loud, I realize, yeah, you're right. Like one, one or two deals would make the entire investment for the year. I just—
I am—
I—
it's hard for me to wrap my head around how do I sell $10,000 $10,000 offer, if they're just meeting me for the first time, they have an hour-long presentation. Let's assume it's really, really exceptional because I'm on this Money Mastermind. How do I— and maybe this is just my own belief— it's like, how do I get them to buy a $10,000 offer? Which is, it's just crazy to me, right? So $2,000.
Okay, that's helpful. The context of knowing that, like, well, by the way, all the principles that we're— I'm talking with Masterclass to Money is also it also applies to a series of a 3-day challenge or a series of a 5-day thing. It's still, it's still the same concepts that were that, you know, that I'm talking about as far as shifting belief, showing people it's easy, you know, getting people back and forth. But your biggest— if you want to sell something $10K, it's a book a call. And, and it's, it's a mixture of— I mean, you still may be finding out what it looks like because yeah, off the back end of a call or off the back end to go from like a 90-minute, 60-minute, 90-minute presentation to a $10K offer, even on a call, you just got to do a lot of great framing and like thinking to a person. But the reality is, bro, like just to encourage you, if you attract business owners, what you help them with is a tax deduction. And this tax deduction is in, is, is to make them more money. So it's, it's going, it's, it's giving them the opportunity to take a deduction in their business so that they can make more in the future, which is literally how businesses operate. I'm going to make this higher. It's going to cost me something in order for me to accomplish or us to accomplish more. But you have to make sure that you're again painting those pictures. And some things I think about that your offer should include there's like, it's almost like things that like single-handedly will pay for the offer itself. I think about ads, like I think about like not, not just podcast stuff, but also ads that you will help them craft to go get them straight business. Like, because, and that could be a bonus. So like, you know, now I'm like, now I'm thinking like, okay, not only am I getting like the, the ongoing coaching, I'm also going to get the— and maybe to them they might value a little bit of one-on-one time, but that might be good one-on-one time worth doing because it makes your offer— and it's, dude, it's the best feeling in the world when you know your offer guarantees pays for itself. Best feeling in the world. It's like, because then the way, you know, the way you sell it is you would be willing to essentially work with somebody's payment plan options. But again, You want to get people a reason to pay in full. Nothing wrong with payment plans, but it's doable. It just comes down to how the offer to them. And when you get on a call, the idea isn't like, all right, I'm going to sell you into this machine or mechanism that's already going. A call is to make it feel like you're tailor making, you're tailor making the offer for them and, uh, and finding out what they care about more. You'd be surprised. Like, one of the— dude, honestly, one of the biggest, uh, oversights we have as entrepreneurs is we think the breakthrough is what we want for them. Like, nah, some of them, their breakthrough is literally shooting one episode. Sometimes some of them, their breakthrough is Uh, is actually getting like the file and watching them do the thing. And like many times we're giving people just an opportunity to pay attention. It's not always so like biz dev and this, that. It's also like, you know, podcasting will not only change your life in business, but I mean, it's like the relationships, the opportunities and all. Like, I mean, it just becomes like Honestly, like, I could sell a $10K podcast offer because, like, I've literally become a podcast millionaire. And it's like, would I choose any other vehicle to show up online organically? Dude, you know what's funny? Do you follow Taki Moore?
Yeah, he's my client, actually.
Okay, let's go. Like, he's an OG in the space. I'm like, it's funny because, like, all the entrepreneur friends know who he is. He's probably— he's a nobody in the ocean of things, but he's a somebody in the pond of things, right? Um, but he's going heavy on like YouTube education. Like, he's, he's, he's— I love it. He's selling people for me is what I feel like he's doing in my work, in my mind. But he is missing the— he's, he's completely missing in his messaging that the goal to show up is, is about repeatable action, showing up consistently more than perfectly articulating every video. You super planned it out so that it, you know, makes somebody click the links and like all that. And I'm like, I don't even want to think that way. I want to like, I want to add so much value that it creates the feeling in a person. And his business model works for him 20 years in. He's built such a reputation and he's helped, he's helped enough public figures now that like there's so many things doing the selling for him. But if he's selling this concept, I feel like it won't work for everyone. You know, it works because he speaks with so much authority, clarity. He's got his frameworks. No one's— the concept of even having frameworks is a new concept to many people. And so I say all that to say He, I, I just think most people just need to do the thing, get up and see themselves on video and, and like let that work, do its work. I don't know where I was going with that, but—
Can I ask one follow-up question and then I'll jump off?
Yeah.
So would you recommend then I do the deposit or just straight to the call? So like, like, like you did, right? Is like $2K to get the call.
Well, off the webinar, I feel like the off, off of a webinar, I would just fill up a calendar. The, the only reason why I ask for that $2K down is because I gave some, I've already given so much like, and I want at this point, I want to see a level of commitment and, and buy-in. And I've learned $1K or $2K is a really good number. Even when I say, you know, if it doesn't work out toward, you know, if you go through financing and stuff, because a lot of people won't do— they'll say there's no refunds on that deposit. But I do it because it's like it is now a moment of testing. Like, do you under— like, were you able to catch how much value was given in this short amount of time so that you can equate, hopefully in your mind, that a year together would, you know, be 10x the investment. So yeah, off the call, fill up a calendar. For whatever it's worth, my friend Macy, she just had a million dollar day a couple of weeks ago. She does a challenge from the challenge to a book a call. She gives her offer and then book a call happens throughout the weekend and then she just, her salesperson just collects. But dude, don't overthink it. If you, if you don't, by the way, by testing with testing is not wasting. Testing is for the data. So like, don't, don't feel like, and if I get them, I would have got like even that premise. I mean, how do I get them at $10K? How do I get like, I even think that premise is a false premise if you genuinely believe the value of the offer itself. It— how you get them there is how you think they need to get there. And that's, that's a service. That's a service-based foundation mindset as opposed to a, like, a sales initiative mindset. Right. So, I mean, that's where, like, the difference— because let's just be honest, bro, you can, you can close $10K people off of a VSL to a book a call where you don't even have to do the web class. But like most people, you arrive to a VSL play if you really like, if you say everything you need to say, the right words in 7 to 8 minutes. That's all that's possible to something I love about the podcast. Just to encourage you, the podcast word is, is a, it's, it's, it appeals to rich people. So like, or wealthy individuals, like having a podcast, sharing your knowledge, leveraging your relationships, networking, connecting, like people with deep pockets would be down. Like, you know, I was very fascinated at the amount of people who bought my Dialed In A Day offer years ago. They were, they were nobodies online, but they were killers in their industry and they were just willing to throw down $35K. For a day's worth of work because they valued their time. But having a podcast situation, even though they didn't use it, was to them communicated all those things I just said— networking, relationships, building your personal brand. So yeah, the price point's a great price point. Just testing the ways based on what serves you. You don't want to— you obviously don't want to feel like you're, you're marketing and selling and not converting. So like, but that, that only comes over time. You're just getting in front of the right people. Yeah. Yeah. Thanks, man. Really appreciate it. A few questions I saw in the chat. Is there anyone here or in the group offers help with deductions for business owners? That's something I need help with. Tax strategy. I don't think there's a— if I'm not mistaken, I don't think there's anybody that does taxes. I will say I mean, it's funny because I could teach on taxes. I've gotten so, you know, I've gotten bitten by the bug over the last few years. Okay, there you go. Got somebody. Let's go. But big idea here. Here's a big idea for every entrepreneur in this call. When it comes to taxes, your job is to teach yourself so that you could inform the person that you do end up working with, which, by the way, you need a tax strategist, not a CPA. A tax strategist is different. Um, so yeah, I've had conversations with Carlton Dennis. I've had conversations with Carter Coffield. I've also had conversations with Matt Bontrager, like very great conversations. The goal, when I see it from this point of view, 30,000 feet up, your first goal is make money. Don't worry about it. Don't worry about deductions. Don't worry about none of that stuff. Like make the money. You want to, you know, structure, structure your business by having the best thing I could tell you right now is make sure you have a business bank account savings, a business checking, a business savings, maybe a high-yield savings, and just make sure you, you just take all your expenses and your money through that account. That's like the number one thing you must do, uh, when you start a business is like have a business. Most people commingle funds and you could just— I mean, you'll be in business for a couple years and you'll be out of business in a couple years, but go to the bank, an EIN number, open up a business bank account and then start there. And then you can find a person. The more you know, the more you can leverage. And then the second question I saw in the chat was I'm dealing with trying to figure out what the investment for my clients should be. Christine, just, just pick your— our numbers. Christine should be based on Both the value are connected to it. Like when we articulate the value of the offer, that sometimes influence the price.
Mm-hmm.
Uh, and then the actual outcome that the, that the value, if, if you feel to yourself like, how could I charge this much? But then this person gets an outcome like this, like then it should influence your thing. But yeah, if you wanna dialogue a little bit, what's up?
Yeah, so I haven't even done this for a whole year yet. October will make it a year that I've been coaching. I came from the church world, was coaching, have done conferences. I have a YouTube, I have a podcast that's going. I wrote a book, and that's part of the conference and everything like that. So I'm trying to get my authority piece going. But even doing that for so many years before and doing it for free, like even having speakers come to my conference, paying them, I'm speaking at my conference and not getting paid myself. And so it's like I'm coming from that mindset of—
I give an offer at your— you give an offer at your live event?
This last one I did. So this is my first time doing it for one full year. October will be one full year that I actually have a coaching business. Yeah.
Yes.
Um, and so I, I have numbers. I keep changing my numbers. I have an app, as I said, shared earlier, that, uh, is in beta testing right now that will go along with the coaching. My academy is called Fair Gone Academy. And so there's so many— that's where I am is the numbers. It's like, yeah, don't I have to have like a million followers before I charge? You know, a lot of that mindset of a lot of people have to follow.
Yeah.
Yes. Let me kill that for a second. Can I coach you for a second, please? Yeah. So just your breakdown. You said I more than they, like, 1,000 times. I been coaching this long. I threw an event. I pay speakers. I, I, I, I, which is why you arrive to why you need all these followers in order to. So like, yeah, your, your, your beliefs about your value based on your pricing is predicated to more of what you can do. And like, that is— that's not how— that's not how it works in business. If you want to, you know, charge more and if you want to serve more, like, it's not predicated on that. It's not on that stuff. Like, for whatever it's worth, it's just numbers. It's just a numbers game. Right. Like, I will— I tell you, the price should be whatever the price— the price should be the number you won't hesitate at saying. You should feel like you should. And by the way, if you want that number to increase though, like subconsciously you want that number to be more because you only feel— you only feel uber confident to say $3,000, but you want it to be $9,000. The gap between 3 and 9 is not more work, is not more— it's honestly—
that's where the mindset is.
Yeah, it's honestly more of you communicating the payoff or the— yeah, the like the better you get at articulating what life looks like after you handle the things you help people through. So, yeah, I mean, like Brock Johnson, almost a million followers on Instagram, has an Insta Club Hub. It's like $1,727 a month. He probably has hundreds and hundreds of people in that thing paying him that much money a month. Me, Omar Inner Circle, $23,000, $25,000, a little over 200 people. Our calls got— I got 60 people on the calls. Uh, we essentially sell the same thing. But I've just, I've just focused my messaging. And by the way, like, if you— this goes for everybody in the room— if you want to charge more, I know it sounds crazy, but like, it's invest more. Because if you, if you, if you buy something at a higher price point based on the value you've connected to that price point, you become the person who can articulate the value. It, it's one of those things where it's, you only know if you know, you know? Like, I, I remember when I first joined Myron's for the first round. I did 2 years with them, but I remember talking to my friend Neo. It was at a live event that Myron put on, and I was like, dude, Neo, I don't know, man. I, I feel like I'm supposed to do this, bro. This is, uh, uh, May of 2023 or June of 2023. Dude, I feel like I'm supposed to. Yeah. Oh dude, I'm so nervous though. I'm He's like, Omar, you don't need to do this for any other reason than if you want to charge more. He said, your, your biggest problem is you're the GOAT and you can't charge like it because you haven't invested in yourself. So the insecurity, the insecurity is just in the unknown of not what it's like to, to bet on yourself at that level. So how can you call people to bet on theirself on a higher level than what you— literally, we shouldn't be charging more than who we are. Like, we can't. It won't, it won't work. There will be incongruency with that reality. And so that's why I love my friend Richman's thing is just like, don't charge what you're worth, charge way less than what you're worth so that when you say it, there's so much belief and backing. Now, but if you want to charge more, do the deep work that would require, or what would allow you to charge more. And some of that deep work was by me going through the transaction process and me realizing that, like, investing into a room is not just worth it, it is, it is imperative, it is required. Like, and I look at my family's life and the, like, my family's life around me. Like, uh, we're about to go on a vacation celebrating my dad's one-year passing with all my family this week, and me and Amanda are taking the kids and we're flying JSX. We're gonna show up to the airport 15 minutes early and then we're gonna rent a Turo and my family's gonna drive up and they're gonna make the 4-hour drive on Thursday and then they're gonna have to drive back on Sunday, and that's cool, uh, It's just a different way. I'm just like, Omar, are you better than you? No, that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is the time of value, the value of time, the life experience changes when you start to value things at its value. This is why it's important to become value-based buyers, not cost-based buyers. When we become value-based, then you actually, you make the value the investment. So like, so I would say everyone who took this masterclass, I hope like when somebody, when it's all said and done, somebody works with you, it's more than $5,000 because you just, you just paid $5K to be in this room. Like that's, that should be, that should have bought you the confidence, especially with all the speed you're getting to the back and forth and the insight of the actual call themselves and structuring it. Like you are somebody who, when somebody comes on the call, they have no idea you just spent $5,000 to prepare this experience so that it could be beneficial for them. Like, this is service, honestly. But I know, I mean, it's a lot of long-winded, but it really is. I hear, I always hear Myron, you know, in the back of my mind, it's don't— he says don't talk about the process, don't talk about the, the problem, don't talk about the, the person. He even says don't talk about the per— like, don't make it— don't make the offer about the process, don't make it about the pieces, don't make it about the, the person, don't even make about you. Make it, make it about the payoff, payoff, payoff, payoff. So like, what happens when you, when you deal with fear? What happens when It's even, even the con— like, even the concept of coaching is a process. If I'm selling coaching, I'm still selling a process. If I'm selling a community, I'm still selling— the community is the process. What does the community do for you? What does the coaching do for you? And being able to speak at that level when you're selling or teaching It's payoff, payoff, payoff, payoff. And it takes work to focus that way because we're so close to the problem and we're so close to the process. We created the program, we created the offer, and man, we, we love the offer. But no, we're the only person that loves the offer. So is that helpful? So you're going to run this back again, this, this event.
The, the event I'm not gonna run back, uh, this year. But the, the coaching, um, a new cohort is supposed to start in June. So that's why I'm excited about this new mastermind because that will help me to filter in a new, the, the new cohort for June.
Beautiful. Yeah. The, uh, if you're building out a coaching business, there's a lot there, um, in regards to like how you structure it and all those things. Cuz it's like there's no reference point when it comes to this stuff. But most people start with cohorts. I mean, I did, I started with a year, like I started with like you got in at the year and then—
Yeah, that's what mine is, a whole year.
Yeah. Yeah. So then, and then midway I tested 90 days, so I just invited people into the, the, the group for 90 days and then we offboarded them and then stuck with the founders. And then again, back to, I bought my awareness to how it could, how it could serve me. I boiled it down to that Omar has no problem showing up on Tuesday mornings, rain or shine, to do a call. Like, I have no, I have no problem. Like, I love it. It's not even a problem. I like, I get fired up and it's amazing. Um, so it doesn't matter if it's a year, it doesn't matter if it's 60 days, doesn't matter if it's 90 days. It didn't matter. Uh, and, and something I noticed that Myron did when he structures his offer is he structures it, his, his, his initial one. So he has like his $27K Offer Mastery Bootcamp is what it's called. It's 90-day, it's a 90-day program that you have access to for a year. Okay. When it's sold, sounds like you get a year-long access, but, but also the buyer is going, oh wow, I can get the result in 90 days. 90-day bootcamp and you get a year access to it, which is like, in your mind you think you get 4 chances. So, but from the coaching world, in the coaching space, there's no cost. There's no real cost of fulfillment. It's really just how we are using our words wisely. Yeah.
That sounds good. Thank you so much.
Yeah, like, don't limit— you could build your business the way you want to build your business. I just, you know, it comes through by doing. Like, like Neil, he runs a— I mean, honestly, it's like a $2.5 million mastermind is how much he makes by having it. And he only— he does one big event in July, gets 1,000 people in a room, gives his offer to that 1,000, and then he journeys with them for a year. And then he just—
he's been—
this will be his 6th year doing that play. K. And it didn't start— it didn't start at 1,000, it started with 60. And then the next year was 350, and the next year was 750. And then, dude, now he sells out at— he sells 1,100 tickets because he knows that some people won't show up, and the room's just packed the whole time. And 120 people buy his $20K offer. And, uh, it's, it's like as simple as that, but it's also, uh, he's just decided. It's really just deciding is really where it comes down. Now, I make more with my master— with my inner circle. I just do. I just, I just put on virtual rooms quarterly or every other month or so. And it really just comes down to like the life and what you're willing to do. When you really have your offer down, it makes more sense to market and sell more than you fulfill. It makes more sense to market and sell than you fulfill, but you just gotta, you gotta work through those levers. Uh, one of my things is quality. I don't want to diminish the quality of Inner Circle, and I'm very, I'm very, uh, slow. Number one, if people don't renew, I'm, I'm all cool with it. Um, because I'm, there's people who want to get in and, uh, I'm also slow to like run challenges all the time. Like that's why we had to like open up a new room because it really started getting like people, man, people just wanting to join Omar's coaching, which I love. But I also think, uh, there's something important about, uh, making sure the quality's there.
Thank you.
Yeah, I did have a follow-up question. It's really short though. I was struggling with picking a date to do the masterclass because I'm like, how, how long or how much promotion needs to be done before the masterclass starts? So that I kept moving around like, is a week enough? Is 2 weeks enough? And so that date.
Oh, okay. Like, like giving yourself the leeway and stuff.
Correct.
Yeah. Yeah. So I mean, my thing with that is Probably like a week and a half to 2 weeks is probably good. When you start running ads, which, you know, you guys, I'm going to have my ads person do an ads workshop the next call. So June 1st, we'll do an ads call. And I mean, at that point it almost doesn't matter. I mean, you know, you get that data from actually doing the ads itself. But I think if you're organically pushing it the week and a half to the week of, like, you know, if it's 2 weeks out, the thing is, is like we're never, we are never talking about what we're doing enough. That's just based on how much is out there and the distractions and the amount of content and people consuming. So I mean, talking about it, creating content with a little right hook of a CTA, No CTA, story sequence. Like, I mean, we should just— it should be the thing to get people on, give people reasons. But I like a week and a half.
Thank you so much.
Yep. All right. Masterclass the Money. Don't get the date on the calendar. Run it. Even run it with one person and then let us know how it goes. All right, that was, that was a rich call, y'all. We'll see you in a couple weeks. Peace out.
