In this solo episode of The CEO Stage, host Kris Plachy explains why she is closing her existing business and launching a new, relationship‑focused practice aimed at women founders and creative entrepreneurs. She attributes the timing to insights from her spiritual coach, who uses numerology and identified a 9‑year cycle ending in August (a number associated with endings) and a new beginning in September. Kris reflects on moving away from a transactional, scalable business model toward a practice centered on direct, personal coaching relationships. She describes the evolution of her Sage program into a private‑coaching format with up to five optional gatherings, emphasizing deep, results‑oriented work for women at various stages of their ventures. Kris announces that spots are open for the 2026‑27 Sage season and promotes a two‑day live event in September in El Dorado Hills that will explore universal truths for entrepreneurs, regardless of industry or revenue. Throughout, she critiques group‑oriented masterminds, arguing that private, individualized support better serves highly sensitive, self‑curious women. She marks the practice’s opening with a personal ritual and positions herself as a “whisperer” for female founders, offering invitation‑only, referral‑driven coaching. The episode ends with a call‑to‑action to visit thevisionary.ceo/sageinvitation for more information.

Hello, hello, car podcast chat with Kris. Welcome to The CEO Stage. I'm your host, Kris Plachy. Uh, this week I want to talk to you about something, uh, that I've been thinking a lot about. So my coach, I— she's really kind of my spiritual coach, and her training, if you will, is in a few different fields, include one including numerology. So every now and then we talk about numbers, and we don't talk a lot about it, but, but she always brings it kind of if it's relevant. And one of the things that has been really interesting is this whole year for me is that, um, I knew that I was sort of feeling like things were going to start changing, and I've known that probably for at least a year, uh, maybe a little less than that. And I had this, uh, had this vibe on The end of July because my current— the current— the program of Sage that I have been leading finished, uh, on July 31st. I'm recording this on August 1st. And I didn't— I just haven't known what was coming. And, um, and she sort of collapsed that a little bit for me in that we've been in a 9-year cycle and And that August is a 9 month, which is endings. And then September starts at number 1. And so this is all to say that a lot of things have happened over the course of this year that have really been powerful for me in this way. And I'm sharing this because I think as creative entrepreneurs, creative visionaries who give ourselves permission to believe our creative thinking, it can be a reward, an incredibly rewarding journey. Because when we do invest in what we know, but what we believe to be true, and we give ourselves permission to follow that intuitive insight, it's so rewarding, right? It's like that where the magic is. But the thing about being a creative Visionary is that sometimes there isn't— we don't know. We don't know what that is. We just have these, like, inklings. And I have a feeling there's some of you that are going to be listening to this, you'll be like, I don't know what she's talking about. And there'll be some of you who are listening and you're like, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, so if you're kind of not sure what I'm talking about, just stay with me for a minute. I'll get there, I promise. But it's this process of, of knowing something without knowing what it is. And I don't know if that process is even the right word. It's just this space. And what I did this year is I allowed myself to trust that and not be in a hurry and let go. And then it's not surprising that there's been a series of life events for me that have involved kids and my mom that sort of had to Well, that I allowed and chose to kind of pull me into that part of my life and not overemphasize and think about this part of my life, my quote-unquote business, because I prioritized my family in terms of my mind space. And so a few weeks ago, I was talking to my coach and I said, you know, she and I have talked so many years over different things, and I told her, you know, I just I don't want to have a business anymore. I want to have a practice. And that was like, I don't even really know what that means. So I'm recording this and sharing it with you as that discovery continues. But what I know, and what I believe is that a business feels transactional. And like, I may not— like, the owner of a business may not know all the people that pay the money. Like, it's just this, uh, like I've said to so many of my clients, I said on a previous podcast many times, like, people, if you're a business owner, you become eventually the custodian of the business. You are not the business. That's not true for me. I am. It is my practice. I am and will continue to be because I'm not— I don't have a desire To build and haven't, to have like a big team and employees and have my process be shared, you know, to thousands and thousands. I don't have that desire. I have a desire for relationships within the business, within the practice. And it was funny because my coach said to me that she was talking to a friend of hers who's a therapist. And the therapist said to her, you know, I don't really get coaching. And so my coach said to her, what do you mean? And she said, well, you guys do all this stuff. You do podcasts, you do Facebook ads, you do funnels, you do all these things. And I don't do any of that as a therapist. I just— people just call me and I have clients. And it does just sort of make you have a pause, right? Like, it's not to say that the way that coaches have built business— there's so many ways to help people in the world. And there are a lot of ways that other coaches have chosen to do that, and I think it's fantastic for all of them. Like, I don't, I don't have a negative judgment for other people's approach. I just know that my approach is changing. What it is that I believe I can offer isn't that it's different, because I don't think I personally am different, but how I Operate and what I invite people into is evolving. And so for the next year, as you probably know, I am working, uh, I have a Sage program. I have up-leveled that program so that now everybody who's in it has to work with me personally. I have increased the number of potential gatherings so now people can come to up to 5, and most People don't come to 5. And Sage is really for people who want to work with a coach, not be in a program. It's for people who— it's for women who recognize that there is a bottleneck to achieving their next level of whatever they're trying to get into. And I, I say that because I have some women who are really, really trying to grow their company, and they recognize that their confidence, their skill level, their competence isn't where they want it to be. I have other clients whose businesses are actually doing pretty well, and they are trying to sort of sort out who they are now that they've manifested and built a life they dreamed Like, who are they now? I have some clients who are thinking about selling, very close to selling, and aren't sure about who they need to be in that process. And then, and then little varies in between. But like, so, so Sage is, is a, is a space that we come into, and I bring people together. As part of my sort of my gift through the experience, because I think the level— I know the conversations are so powerful, but it's not a group event. It's not a group, it's not a group program. It's a private coaching program. And so it's, it's for women who really want that. And what I have found is the, the— with the expansion of group opportunities, which I think are great, I think a lot of people have It used to be you only did private coaching. Then it all became very groupish. And I think a lot of women don't even know the potency of private coaching. So I have spots still open for Sage starting in September. And so if you're listening to this and you're interested, you should just go to my website, book a call, we can talk about it. But even this, this year of Sage and the way that it's being offered, I know next year it'll be— I don't even know what it will look like next year. And so yesterday I sort of had a ceremonial day and I told my coach and I said, I'm closing my business today, July 31st. And I'm opening my practice tomorrow, which is today. So that's when I'm recording it. My practice means I'm centering on working with women and clients who come to me directly through invitation, through referral, through introduction, and that I work with women who are invested and curious, self-curious enough to implement significant personal change. I think there's a lot of people who are self-curious. They, they want to understand things, but they don't execute. They don't do things differently. And in my experience, over time, it's hard to— it's not hard, it just becomes unproductive to have the same conversations over and over and over again. It's unproductive for the coach and the client. And then if we're in gatherings, it's unproductive for the women who gather. And so I always invite people in general who have a real curiosity and are very attracted to personal growth and development to really consider what it is that they have invested in and, and have they translated that into personal results. It's not about the person that you work with. It's about the decision that you've made to change and get new results. So, you know, my goal is to help women get what they want, not to teach you what I know. And what each person I meet wants is different. But what I do know is that why people don't have what they want is usually easy to figure out. That's sort of rooted in universal truth. And maybe I'll talk more about that on another podcast. But so in September, I'm going to host a live event, and that's what we're going to talk about. We're going to talk about the straight line and what's keeping us from getting what we want and recognizing that it doesn't matter where in the developmental phase of being an entrepreneur or a founder or a business leader. Like, it doesn't matter where you are in that. If we were to sort of put it on a, on a, on a phase chart or like a stages graph, it doesn't matter where you are. There are core understandings or universal truths. That we have to accept if we are going to achieve more of what we want. And it's never going to be about other people, and it's never going to be about your circumstance, and it's never going to be about how much money you have, and it's never going to be about what your business industry is. It's never going to be about any of that. It's always going to be down to you. And some people are inspired to hear that, and some people get enraged when I say that. And depending on that will determine how simple it is for you to get what you want. So in September, that's a 2-day live event that I'm hosting in El Dorado Hills. And if you're interested in that, just go to my website. I'm going to put the I'll put some information up on that. And if you're in Sage, you're already invited to that. If you're not in Sage, you can attend. And, um, it might be a good way for you to get a vibe on whether you want to be in other rooms and work with me personally, if you haven't ever attended anything. So that's a thought. So I have officially opened my practice. Yesterday I took myself out for a nice lunch. I bought myself a little piece of jewelry to commemorate the opening of my practice and the way that I position the work that I do in the world. The truth is my goal is to be, you know, the whisperer behind these female founders, to be the source of support that you have when it's really hard to find in, frankly, and even in the masterminds I know so many of you are participating in. I've heard this from so many women. Masterminds are great, but you have to remember that most masterminds are rooted on what that facilitator wants to teach you. And that's fine. It's just, is it providing you the private support that you need? Personal support? And I think we go through phases. And sometimes what we're so used to being in learning phases that we don't, we don't ever stop learning. And And when we should, we should stop taking on new information. This is what I've had to do for myself this year, like no new ideas, because as a visionary, there's never been an idea I didn't think was fantastic. I love ideas. I find ideas. If I get an idea, I'm— if someone— if I go to a mastermind and there's 12 people who are doing it this way, I'm like, oh my gosh, that's amazing, I'm going to do it that way. Like, I am so capable of imagining. What I could do with an idea that I have to manage how much of that I allow. But I think some of us get into these loops where we're just constantly exposing ourselves to that. And that's why we get sort of integration overwhelm, and we lose sense of self. Because we're, we're in too many other people's business, especially if you have empathic notions or highly sensitive, you're like attaching to all these people's energy, you can't find yourself anymore. Anywhere. So sometimes you then have to come back to yourself. You need to work with someone personally. Like, wait, can I just remind myself of who the hell I am right now? What is it that I want? I know I could create anything I want. What do I want? There's so many other— there's so many ways, so many things I could do. What do I want? And so that is the, that is the focus of the practice is to Center you, not me, not my content, not my videos. You. So anyway, this was a little extemporaneous, but I'm sure some of you will think it was interesting. All right, sunshine, thanks for tuning in. I'll talk to you next time.
