How do you know the yield of a cookie recipe? O ilang piraso ba ng cookies sa isang recipe? #baking

Leslie's Test Kitchen shows two ways to calculate cookie yield: add ingredient weights and divide by single cookie weight, or weigh the dough directly. A free conversion chart helps when recipes only list volumes instead of grams.

Since alam mo yung timbang ng bawat ingredient, you can just get the total of that and then divide it with the individual weight of the cookie you want to bake. So like dito, kung gusto mo ng 100g na cookies, kailangan mo lang i-divide yung total weight ng dough, which is 1,277 divided by 100, you get 12.77 or 12. So yun yung magiging yield mo. And once you know your yield, you'll also be able to know the number of batches you need to bake whenever you have an order. So for example, you have an order for 24 pieces. Just divide that by the yield, which is 12, you will get 2. So 2 batches ang kaylangan mo ibake. Okay, alam, may problema. Kadalasan kase hindi naman binibigay yung weight measurements sa mga recipes na naikitan natin online. So to help you, I am giving away a free baking conversion chart for the most common baking ingredients. Dito mome kita yung mga measurements by weight. Just click the link in the comment section or in my profile to get a copy. Yung pangalawang para annaman, para malaman yung yield ng isang recipe, is by just weighing the dough after mixing. Dito sa para annato, just make sure na timbang in mo ang yung mixing bowl bagong mag-simula para may bawas mo yon sa total na timbang ng moko ha mo. For example, dito 1957 grams ang naging total na timbang ng bowl with the dough. And since we know na 680 grams ang bowl, imma minus lang natin yun don, and we will get the total weight of the dough, which is 1,277. If this has been helpful, please follow for more.
