You only need 4 ingredients to make this delicious ube ice cream. It's made with real ube halaya and has no added artificial flavoring or color. Before you begin, make sure you have placed your all-purpose cream in the freezer. It takes about 1 to 2 hours to make it firm. It should not be too hard na hindi mo na sha mapisel. Note that frozen all-purpose cream will not get whipped at hindi na sha pweding pang ice cream, so make sure to use an alarm clock para hindi mo sha mamiss out. Meanwhile, you can go ahead and thoroughly combine 1 cup or 250 grams fresh milk and 1/2 cup or 150 grams na condensed filled milk. Tapos, ihalo na ang 3/4 cup to 1 cup ube halaya or ube jam. This will be about 200 to 250 grams. You can use more if you want a stronger ube flavor, but it will also be sweeter since mitamis na ang ube halaya or ube jam. I recommend ube jam by Princess Spreads. Madami ako si nobuko na brand at sellers bagong konatagpo ang Princess Spreads, and it's now my go-to ube jam. Hindi siya ganun katamis kaya hindi rin ganun katamis ang ube ice cream na ito. I have a link in the caption for where to order. After combining everything, you can set this mixture aside. Once your all-purpose cream is ready, transfer to a large bowl and whip with an electric beater for 5 minutes at highest speed. It should triple to quadruple in volume. Tapos, pedi nang i-mix in yung ube mixture. Beat until well combined and then transfer to a freezer-safe container. Freeze until solid and enjoy.
