Monster Fishbowl

Madison Doherty Tipton walks through the fishbowl funnel, a giveaway-based system that uses gamification and email incentives to pull targeted leads into a community. She covers landing pages, thank-you page steps, and deadline tactics, plus the psychological blocks that stop people from actually building it.

So how many of you guys found online marketing maybe this year, last year, several years ago, and thought, this is like the ticket, this is the coolest thing. And you started to kind of nerd out about it, right? Like I did, right. 100%. How many of you guys thought that after you found this that it was your ticket to freedom? Work just a few hours a day, I'm gonna make all this money. All I gotta do is build a funnel, I gotta turn it on, I gotta run some traffic to it, and then I just sit back here and the money's gonna come rolling in. How many of you guys thought that? How many of you guys, after going through that process and realizing that it didn't happen, you thought this wasn't what was advertised, like, this wasn't in the ad. This didn't have the guy, like, in front of the Lamborghini. He didn't tell me this. He didn't tell me this was going to be hard. Well, that's exactly where I was. See, I dove head deep into online marketing. I loved every part of it. See, I have a background in startup business, so I spent about 10 years from the time I was in college to, you know, 10, 15 years from the time I was in my early 30s. And that's what we did. We just started businesses, we came up with an idea, we got it patented, we got investors, we built businesses, we did licensing deals, met with VPs of giant companies, and that was my life. And then Covid hit and I'm like, my investor's gone because my customers are gone, because I was doing a really cool thing to help make youth sports safer. Do you know what got cut during COVID Youth sports. Sports in general. So of course I lost the investor and I lost the customers and I lost the opportunity. But the same time I discovered this book called Traffic Secrets. Has anybody read Traffic Secrets by Russell Brunson? Maybe you came into this world at the same time and I fell in love with it because at this point of my previous life as a startup, I had to get an investor, I had to bring my own money to it. And then I had to have a dev team and had to have engineers, and we had to build a website and we had to make a prototype, and then we had to get investors to launch it. And then, okay, then we need to get more investors, right? We need more money. When I discovered online marketing, I realized I could actually start a business in a day if I wanted to. And so I went crazy. I loved every bit of it. I just like, absorbed everything that I could. And I found myself in Catherine Jones's world. And her thing is, you're going to do a webinar, you do a game plan. It's kind of like a five day challenge, right? But it's over an hour, and you're going to teach your framework, which. My framework at this time was to help kids get recruited. I spent a lot of my life doing video editing and even worked for the University of Washington Husky softball team doing video editing. And I knew marketing, so I knew kids could use social media. So this was actually my setup. I took this photo to document it before my first webinar. I was so pumped and excited. And then nobody showed up. And I'm like, all right, that's cool. That's okay, right? That's good. You know, I really needed one to practice with, I should say. The caveat is I had one person show up. It was my dad, right? But I'm like, you know what the next one is? I'm gonna get all these people come, they're gonna buy my course. Well, the next one came and the only person that showed up was my dad. God bless him, right? He came and he sat through two of these presentations. Me flambering, trying to figure it out, but get my slide clicked over the next one. By the third webinar, I was so excited. I'd spent like $500 on ads. I had all these people that opted in. I was like, this is going to be it. Even my dad didn't show up, right? Nobody came. And I'm sitting in this exact spot right here. I've done the whole presentation. Nobody showed up. Dad was busy, so we'll give him a pass on it. But it represented something in my mind which was like, maybe this isn't going to work for me. Has anybody thought that, that maybe online marketing is not meant for you? You've tried what feels like everything, and it just hasn't clicked. It hasn't worked. You. You don't have that Lamborghini or that vacation house or whatever those ads said to you. You want me to tell you something? It's not you. It's not that you failed or you're not good enough or you can't do it. It's simply you have not found a framework that works. And a lot of times frameworks work for different people, right? There might be something that you found out that you just. It doesn't click with you. It doesn't click with who you want to be or what you want to do, right? And for me, I didn't know what I wanted. And so I just had these friends and Andrea and Dan from Geek out and Susan and. And I just kind of hung out in their group. This was just a couple months ago, and I thought they might have me on this live. That's Danny Walsh from Click Funnels. And Danny was talking about this concept called a fishbowl funnel and how he made over $3 million selling fishing tackle in the UK and I'm sitting ironically in the same spot. You can see from the background behind me gotten a little fancier. I thought to myself, you know, this might work, because I truly believed that if only people had shown up for my webinar, they would have bought my product. I just needed a group of people. And Danny's talking about how easily he gathered, like, 20,000 people, was like 10% of the whole carp fishing in the UK, right? A crazy amount of people easily do this one funnel. I'm like, if I had those people in my little community, they would. I think they would buy my thing. If they won't buy my thing, I might be able to figure out something that they would buy. Then maybe I didn't need to tweak my message a little bit, right? So I thought if this worked for Danny, which. These are some of Danny's results right here, it might work for me. And here example is the first fishbowl funnel I ran, which was in the softball nation. Remember I told you I helped out and worked for the University of Washington softball team. So I knew the sport of softball. I wanted to kind of give back a little bit. So I built this concept called a fishbowl funnel, and that is 187.22%. How in the world do you get that? Is anybody wondering how in the world do you get over 100%? Well, it's because people wanted to enter my giveaway, my fishbowl funnel, so much that they actually entered more than once. Has anybody ever opted in willingly, knowingly, for an ebook more than once? Like, have you ever gone through somebody's quiz funnel more than once just to be. Because they're like, hey, that was awesome. I want to get my results again. Maybe you forgot or maybe you lost them, but knowingly did you. Have you ever gone through and opted in for a lead magnet or a free gift more than once? I mean, I've opted in so many lead magnets, I don't even know, right? And so much. So much of the time, we actually put the wrong email address in, right? Our friend Dan Havey, he opted into something and he put his email address in. It's dntestmail.com. and I'm like, how'd you get that email? He goes, oh, that's not my real email. Of course I don't get my real email. Most likely they're going to have the lead magnet on the next page. I'm just going to download. I'm not going to have to get their marketing information. Well, that's a concept that is different with this. Those 700 emails were the people's real emails because they responded. They joined my group. They opted in, they replied to the email for a softball bat. This is part of what makes it irresistible, is because I put the right giveaway in front of the right people. A lot of times we hear people in the funnel world talk about, you just have to put the right offer in front of the right people. And you're like, I don't know who what that is. I don't know who that is. That's the beauty of this, right? Find your people and find something that they would love to have and they will come to it. So I did this in softball. I did this in DJing. I did this in crafting. One of our students, Scott, did this in barbecuing. Talia, she did this in Century Toys for young parents. And even Mara, who is one of our students, said, I'm getting leads. Sorry, I've been awoled for two weeks. So this even works when you're not there every day to sit in front of the computer and hope that people come to your website, right? Kathy, who just launched it in one day, in like, the next. Not even one day, one hour, she had 42 leads. That's the power of it. That's why this works so well. So what? The world is a fishbowl funnel, right? You guys are like, okay, I get it. It works. Now, what in the world are we talking about here? Well, instead of this, which is download my free thing, give me your email address, right? This is kind of like the traditional model of this. This doesn't work anymore because people know the value is not really there. You're going to send me 7,000 million emails. Is it really worth. Is it really worth the 7,000 emails to get this one thing that's going to probably lead me, leave me with more questions than I had beforehand. But when you switch this around and you now say, hey, win something you really want, maybe you guys saw this. Win tickets to Funnel hacking Live. This was a fishbowl funnel. A lot of us put our email address into that, right? That's over almost a thousand dollars. Of course, we all wanted that VIP experience to funnel hacking live. So of course we put our real email address in and we did the steps afterwards and we recorded videos and we saw our videos on Funnel Hacker tv. Right? I know, I was there. And this really works in any niche. It works for families, it works for DJs, it works for sports, works for weight loss, it works for woodworking, it works for affiliates, and it even works for software companies. Like I said, when tickets to funnel Hacking live was a fishbowl funnel ran by clickfunnels. You want to know what the, what thing, the purpose was, what they drove people to get a trial to click funnels. So what in the world is an anatomy of a fishbowl funnel? What are kind of those key factors that make this successful? Well, let me say with, say this, the funnel is just the start of it. So many people go through our five day challenges and they go, all right, I got enough information to build my fishbowl funnel. And we say you just kind of have the roadmap. You just have a first few directions, right? The, the big thing that comes into the fishbowl funnel is only as effective as you will be running it. Really. I should have probably put you at the bottom of it, right? Because the funnel's just the start. Once they opt in, then what? Then you give them steps, right? Like maybe it's change your profile photo. A lot of us utilize that in our fishbowl funnels and we see people actually change their profile photo to our brand. Who has changed their profile photo for another brand? Has anybody changed their profile photo for Coca Cola or Pepsi or the Super Bowl? Probably not. But for things that we really, really want and things we get excited about, we change our profile photo for them. About our families, about our pets, about our favorite sports teams. We don't usually do this for businesses. We don't usually do this for unknown businesses on the Internet. Right? Nobody knew about ultimate softball giveaway before I launched my first ad. But you know what they did? They changed their profile photo to my crappy, poorly designed, canva design. It's all over there, all over their Facebook profiles. I see them in my group all the time commenting with my, my photo, my logo, my photo, all of that. Some even still have it on there. The next thing that really takes this to the next level is when you introduce gamification. How do we get people to do something in a fun Way gamification, the next thing, this is really where you make the money. You've oftentimes probably heard people say the money is in the list. On a fishbowl funnel, your money is in your community is as much about the community as it is the funnel. Because you can have a fishbowl funnel and do the same thing like people do with a lead magnet. You maybe email them once or twice. You just send them emails that to say, buy my thing. You don't really provide value for them. Then at that point, a fishbowl funnel is no different than a lead magnet. But really, when you tie into these steps they have to complete and the gamification in the community, that is where the magic happens. And that is why after today, we're really going to get into these in the next four days of this challenge. Really, really focus on gamification, community. And most importantly, you. You are the most important part of a fishbowl funnel. You're the one that makes it magical. You're the one that's going to make this successful is you. You show up, you engage with people, you provide value. You don't just come across with saying, buy my thing, right? You become friends with them, you learn from them, you provide them with information, you provide them with value. And that is when you will really see the magic of a fishbowl funnel. So do you guys want to look inside a fishbowl funnel? Who wants to look inside of a fishbowl funnel? Okay, this is a funnel hacked version of the clickfunnels fishbowl funnel. So it starts with a welcome video. If you guys remember this, this was a really great welcome video from Ben, from Ben Moot. And then it has some FOMO inducing. It's only so much time, right? And then the next page, and this is one of where we kind of start that magic. We kind of start to introduce gamification a little bit is complete these steps. The number one thing we want to do is drive people to a community. We're gonna dive more deep into this tomorrow. But a community can be a newsletter or a Facebook group or a clickfunnels community or even just meeting up at your local community center. Does that all make sense? The next thing you can do is you can get creative with these, right? You can give people extra bonus entries for changing their profile photo or replying to your email or inviting their or sharing it on their own profile. We're going to talk more about that on Thursday, day four, when we talk about our traffic boosters. And that's then the next thing you can do if you choose to, is you can present them with an offer. And like I said, this works for anything. This example here is clickfunnels. This example here is Secrets of Success affiliate program. It worked for this. We actually got more sales with less leads than people who were on the leaderboard. They had a lot more visits, a lot more leads. We had a higher conversion rate on this. It also works for very specific niches like boating. We'll break down why these work in a little bit. You can also do it for cleaning, right? Here's an example of cleaning. These all have the same concepts. A place to opt in, some fomo, what you can win, and the rules, place to opt in. You click to sign up, it opens a pop up, you got what it is and how much time. Same thing. This one was just over. So the countdown funnel countdown is at zero. What you win, place to opt in, time, the rules. Same thing with this drone club one, right? Photo. What you got to win, who's it for, place to opt in and the time. The key elements on a landing page of a fishbowl funnel is opt in what you're going to win, the rules. How are you going to play by the. What's the game? Right? How we're going to play it in a deadline, we've got to introduce FOMO in some way. And every single one of your fishbowl funnels, when you start out with, should have a means for them to opt in, what they're going to win. The rules could even be one per household. You don't have to enforce these. Right? But we want to kind of set that groundwork especially. We want to also have the legal ease down at the bottom of saying, you know, hey, we can trade this out, equal or lesser value, blah, blah, whatever it is, right? Protect yourself. I'm not a lawyer. I just, I don't even play one on tv. And then you want to have a deadline that introduces fomo. Why does this work? I want to say this, and I want you guys to really think about this and hold this with you this whole week. This is my favorite saying from McCall Jones. Does any of you know McCall Jones? We love McCall. She says, don't corrupt the framework. And what she means by that is don't just come up with your own way halfway through it and be like, okay, they said a giveaway is really good idea. So I'm do a giveaway, but I'm going to charge people like, that's, that's not the framework of it. Like we have designed this, we have tested this, we've done this over and over again. Right. We know the framework and we know what works. And that's what we're teaching you this week. Right. What we're going to teach you is something that has, has worked for us time and time again, that we have tested time and time again and go back and show you those results. Scott got over 900 leads for $200 in ad spend. Talia got 135 leads in her first 24 hours. Mara got 50 leads with not even looking at her computer. Right. Those are just a few examples. This framework works. So when you stick to the framework, by all means, put your own spin on it, but don't corrupt the framework. And that really comes down to having an irresistible giveaway. Giving them steps, something to do, nurturing them. You have to commit to it and you're going to fulfill before you sell. And that really is the framework of a fishbowl funnel. Once we get past obviously the initial things we need to have on our landing page or first of our funnel. So you got to have an irresistible giveaway. You got to give them something to do. Just give them some steps, you have to nurture them. This is one of the biggest one. This is where the community comes into play, right? You commit to it, meaning you're going to show up, you're going to do the work, you're going to be in your group, you're going to go live, you're going to nurture them, you're going to actually fulfill. That's the last one, right? Fulfill before you sell, you're going to fulfill on what you're going to say you're going to do even if it's going live, right? Even if you don't want to. So what in the world is an irresistible giveaway? Right? Well, let me start with telling you what does not make an irresistible giveaway. Gift cards and generic prizes. Also something that you're going to sell them or something get for free, Right. Should added those two things. Those are probably really good points that I just thought of. What makes something irresistible is to your ideal customer, it's something only they want. And this is why our ads are so successful and this concept is so powerful is because we can kind of skew the statistics in our favor a little bit. Because when we have a group of people that are our ideal customer, of course they're going to be more likely to take our offers. Of course they're going to spend more money we're going to have a higher conversion rate. We may have a smaller group of people, but if 20% of them want what we have instead of 2% of a giant pool of people, then we're winning with this. So, for example, this handhold floating radio, which is Mara's giveaway, was her first giveaway. Is anybody really going to care about this? Unless if you're a boater, like, it's waterproof. It. It floats. It kind of tells you some nautical things and bariatric pressure. And I don't know. I'm not. I'm not a boaty person, right? I would be like, that's cool. No, no. What I would do with that. But somebody who's like, I just bought my first boat and says, oh, it's a must have for bikini boaters. I need that. Oh, and it's free. I can win this. Those people are going to opt in. Those are then the people who are going to be more likely to take Mari and Steve's course or call them for a consulting call or something like that, right? This is when we really dial into our ideal customer and what they want. And on Wednesday, we're going to talk about how you can utilize AI to kind of hack the system a little bit with this. Same thing with a softball bat. I should have put the clip in here because it was such a good clip that I saw was an advertisement, actually. This is a D. Marini bat, but the first one I gave away was an Easton Ghost advanced bat. If I said, anybody who is live with me right now, and I said, who wants to win an Easton Ghost advanced bat? How many of you guys are going to go crazy? How many guys are going to jump up and down? How many of you guys are going to be like, oh, my gosh, this is the most amazing thing, right? Nobody. Because you guys are not my ideal customer. The softball group, I post, even post the video that says, do you want Easton Ghost advance or do you want Taylor Swift tickets? They all said the bat. Now, if I said, in this group, hey, do you guys want us to run your Facebook ads for a month and get you leads using this framework, you guys would all go crazy, right? Because to you, that's an irresistible offer. Same thing with Tara. Tara helps dog groomers be successful on their. Their Internet, in their business and social media. So for her and her people, this works for me. I mean, yeah, I guess the, the table would be kind of cool. I don't really know where I would put it. And I mean, the, the shirt's cool little. The cute little dog's not included. I don't know if I really want to put my phone number in for this, my email in for this. But I'm also not the person that's going to take Tara's course. So that's what we really want to focus on when we think about an irresistible giveaway is what is going to attract your ideal customer and what is going to repel them. You're kind of like a magnet, right? I think the great example of this is Laura Potier teaches this kind of a similar concept in her ads course, right? It's really having a strong call out. And she says, if we all went to Disney World and she said something like, hey, I got your free tickets, a lot of people would turn around. But if. If I said, hey, monster marketers, there's only be a few of you guys that would turn around. So how can your giveaway have a strong call out, right? Nobody really needs a adjustable dog table for their dog. Nobody really needs the blower. But dog groomers and people who want to be dog groomers would be like, you mean I don't have to bend over? Oh, man, I looked at that blower. That's like 500 bucks. So that's where we're going with that. Does that all make sense? Have something that is a strong call out. So when your people see it, that scroll stops and they're like, what in the world are they giving that away for free? That's the concept here. That's what really makes it irresistible. I see a lot of you guys are agreeing with that. So what are the psychological triggers of this? Well, a lot of this works because of the mind games we're playing a little bit, right? That's all marketing is. We're convincing people to want something they don't even know that they want yet. First of all, we start with fomo. Fear of missing out. This is where we put in that countdown timer. You only have so much time. You can also introduce by, like, only one available, right? One person will win this amazing package. We also go with the perceived value of this. When you look at something like, we'll go back one, one step terrace here. I think this is probably worth more than $500. Because I'm looking at. I'm like, man, that table, that's expensive, and the blowers expensive, and little dog's expensive, but he's not included, right? And the shirt and the cup and all of that. The perceived value of it. The next thing is the scarcity of it. You don't see these every day. Your newsfeed is not filled with fishbowl funnels, at least not yet. Right? We haven't invaded all of online marketing. We're making our way there, but we're not there yet. So you still have an opportunity where this is a pattern interrupt, it's a scroll stopper, because it's something different. The next thing, the last thing, probably the most important thing is we all want to win something, right? Do you guys want to win something? Do you guys want to win something right now? Does anybody want to win something? If you're watching live, you're watching the replay, you're watching on demand. I'm going to tell you at the end how you can win something. Does that sound like a plan? Okay, we got a really cool thing. I don't even have a slide for it. So the next thing, I want to draw out the roadmap for you guys. So that means a lot of you guys are going crazy. You want to win. All right, I got to switch my screens here so that I can draw this out for you guys. Alrighty. Add this up here it is, our handy dandy whiteboard. What I want to do, get a drink here. What I want to do is I actually want to draw this out for you. And how this works, I call this the roadmap. It's a fishbowl funnel roadmap. So I'm going to just make this full screen here. So here's how this works, right? We start with our typical landing page, our fishbowl funnel. In here, we're going to have our little photo. And we have what it is, we got some, you know, time here. And then we're going to have a button. And this button can either lead us to a pop up or a submit set, right? So this is our landing page. Typical lead landing page. The next thing now is where we come over here to what would be our thank you page. And on this, what we have here is we can have a video from us explaining, hey, thanks for enrolling in my giveaway. Well, it's my softball giveaway. I got a few things you got to do down below. So if that sounds like plan, make sure you do that, you join the Facebook group because you won't know if you win if you're not in the Facebook group. So we have a lot of things we can do here. We're also going to have these steps. And under these steps, this one could be our Facebook group. This one could say, hey, maybe follow us on IG or TikTok, right? This one could say, you know, here's a discount code for my thing. Or you can say, maybe you can grab my most incredible free gift ever, right? You have tons of different options in terms of what you want to do with these steps. This is where you can get creative, right? But don't break the framework. Don't corrupt the framework. Like McCall would say, don't be just throwing this out something different and be like, oh, okay, here, now I'm going to put an offer in the middle of it. No, the framework is they land on your page because of your irresistible giveaway. From there, once they opt in, they go to your thank you page. On your thank you page, you have a series of steps. Step one, step two, step three, so on and so forth. You can send those people to your Facebook page, your Instagram, your TikTok. You can present them with something that they could buy or give them a discount code. And then you can also give them a MIF key offer, right? Or we call them a MIMBY offer, which we'll get into later. So then what do you do with these people? Well, there's another one, Another one of my favorite steps. So I didn't really fully understand the concept of this when I first learned this, which is reply to my email, which is one of the most critical steps. Because here's what this does, is instead of this message going out there just floating in spam space, right? When they actually send you this message back, now you've kind of made this loop with them. So now all your other messages have a higher chance of landing in their mailbox, right? And when we incentivize this part of it through gamification by saying, I'm going to give you a hundred extra entries if you reply to this, because, like, the money's in the list. If we have two things we want these people to do. We want them to join our Facebook group, and we ultimately want them to reply to this email. Now, a lot of people also love, and this is another one. We talk about this on Thursday. We talk about our organic multiplier, is when we say invite, invite your friends. Because you know what that does? That starts this whole thing all over again, the cycle of it, right? This is like we put the social and social media. So let me draw it again. Let me draw it a little cleaner this time for you guys. Go full screen. So here's how we do this, right? We start out with our landing page. Remember, our landing page has four things to has what you're going to to win. It also has a timer on it, a deadline, it has some gibberish of rules and it also has a place for you to opt in. And of course that opt in has to have a button. Once they opt in, this is why we need them to opt in, because we're going to take them to the next step. This one here can have a video from you. It doesn't have to. This is the one where you don't corrupt the framework, but you can get a little creative with it. And it's going to have step one, step two, step three, so on and so forth. Step one, we always like to say it is going to be your Facebook group. This is probably the most important one, right? Because in them joining your Facebook group then you can nurture them, you can have them compete more things to get more engaged, to invite their friends. It's just a better chance to, to engage with them. But this can also be your newsletter. We've done this with newsletters, very successfully. Increases our open rates to about 30 to 40%, which is crazy right? Now. The next thing you can do is you can say number two, you can say, like our page or you can say invite your friends, right? This one is after you get past number one, by all means, make this as creative as you want to write. Number three, you can say share this. Number four, you can say reply, right? Email us back, send us a thumbs up, follow me, add me as a friend on Facebook, whatever he wants it to be, right? Whatever you want it to be. And then number five, right, so on and so forth. And the reason four is so important is because when they get our email and now so we send them an email, they send us one back. We have a higher chance of all of our other emails. Them actually draw some eyeballs, them actually being able to see them. And that's probably one of the most important things because now we're able to send them offers in their email and they have a better chance of actually seeing them because they've replied to them. So that is the roadmap. It's pretty simple, right? But like I said in longs at the big picture, this is just part of it. This is just part of the roadmap, right? So we get over here and now we're in our Facebook group and this is where we have to nurture them ultimately get them to buy our products. And that's what we're talking about tomorrow, which is how you can easily sell people in your Facebook community. Which is something we all want, right? I know, I want that. I know. That was like one of my biggest things, right? Because remember when I started out, I thought if I had a group of people I could sell them something, they would buy what I have. And if not, it's almost like I have the world's best focus group. I have my people in this group and now I can figure out what they want and I can make that and sell that to them. Does that all make sense? We have a few more slides and then I will send you off with your homework. So we covered the roadmap. You guys know it starts with a fishbowl funnel. Then on the thank you page you give them series of tasks, give them, incentivize them to do those tasks by giving bonus points. And one of the key things is join the Facebook group and reply to our email. If you're only going to do two or you're going to get really creative with sums, make sure you include those two. That's what I would suggest. So if we can just turn it on this fishbowl funnel and get leads like Scott did. Remember Scott got 900 leads for about a 200 announcement. Mara got leads while she was MIA from her business and Talia got 135 plus leads in the first 24 hours. Then what can stop a fishbowl funnel right? Now you guys want to know what can stop a fishbowl funnel? So remember I told you this story about I didn't know what I wanted to do, I didn't think I was cut out for online marketing. And I got asked to be on this call from our lovely friend Dan Havey. And Dan said this, this guy from the UK, this Danny Walsh guy, Danny Walsh from ClickFunnels, he did this crazy ecom thing. He was. Madison, you sold a little E comm. I don't know anything about it. So why don't you come on the call and you can ask all the questions. I'm just gonna sit there and I'm like, okay, Dan. Alrighty. Right. And I listened to this and I listen to Danny's framework and I watched some of his YouTube videos and I thought, hmm, this might work, but I have to be honest with you guys about something. So from this video to this point where I made my post that I launched my fishbowl funnel and I got eight opt ins and seven people were in my group in the first day. And then in six days after that it was a hundred people. And then the next six days it was another hundred people. And then six days after that, it was 500 people. The time between this live that I was on and this post was 6 weeks. I'm a little embarrassed, honestly, to say this, you guys. I've already illustrated to you how easy and quickly you can build a fishbowl funnel, right? It's a simple landing page. It has four things, right? It has a way to opt in, it has a price, it has a deadline, and it has the rules. That's all you need. Why in the world did it take me six weeks? Do you guys want to know why? Do you want to know why? This took me six weeks to launch? And I only think about where I could be, how much more money I could have made. I made about a thousand dollars, between 10001500 dollars in my first few weeks. From going from three years of struggling to actually seeing people in my group actually getting buyers, selling products easily in my community. Do you want to know what stopped me? I let my fears win. And remember I said to you guys early on that you are the most important part of a fishbowl funnel. You will be the reason it is successful or it is not. Because at the end of the day, a fishbowl funnel, like any other funnel, can be tweaked. If it fails the first time, it is just data. If the costs are too high, that's data. If our opt in rate is 1%, that's data. But if you fail, you give up, you quit. Like, I was so close, I was so ready to quit. And you let your fears win. This will be the number one thing that is stopping you from seeing the level of success that you want to see inside your business. That's why I wanted to kind of like wrap up today with this. Because if we can't grasp what is stopping you, then the rest of this week will just be like every other training you've ever been to. Any course you bought, any free training. But if we can really figure this out and we can kind of fight through this at the beginning, the rest of this will work. I know this will work because like we did with Scott and Talia and Mara, we just turned on ads and they got leads. I know a fishbowl funnel will get you leads, but will you let yourself stop? You see, for me, even sitting there listening to Danny tell this story about how he made over $3 million selling fishing tackle in the UK and even when I got super excited about it and I'm like, this will work for me, I left. And when that excitement died Down. I built my first little bit of the funnel. And then something happened, and I turned my head and I came back to it. This is what went through my mind. I tried this before and it didn't work. Why would anybody come into my group and show up on my lives when even my dad got tired of watching me? And then, of course, I heard things from my family who loved me dearly, but ultimately didn't want to see me hurt. And they said, well, nobody wanted that. You tried that. Why would that be different this time? And then, of course, I thought it probably worked for that guy. That guy, he's older than me, he's more successful than me. I don't think it's gonna work for me. It worked for him. That's great for him, but it's not gonna work for me. And then, of course, I had this part about saying, I'm not cut out for this. Does anybody here have you ever heard yourself say this to yourself? Because this is just your fears and your doubts getting in your way. A friend of mine posted on social media the other day and said that self sabotage is the highest level of self control. Because if you sabotage yourself, you can control what comes next. So maybe for you, it has been. You've believed in quick fixes and they've not worked. Maybe you've looked around and said, well, everybody else has already started. It's too late for me. Maybe you've let past setbacks get in the way. Maybe it is. I simply. I can't do it. Tried. I failed. I can't fail again. I can't let my wife or my husband know that. That I spent all that money again. And then it leads to other people saying, you spent all this time on this online stuff. Are you ever going to see a result from it? Or they're like, what are you gonna try this time? When are you gonna give this up? Right? Does any of this hit home? Well, I'm gonna tell you guys that if you stick with it this week, I am so passionate about this strategy because I was there. Not only can I say, it worked for Danny, and it's worked for me, it's worked for Talia, and it's worked for Scott, it's worked for Mara, and it's worked for Susan, many of our students. I know this will work as long as you give it an opportunity.
