Using AI to Write Passive Income Books

Madison Doherty Tipton walks through using Claude and ChatGPT to write and publish a children's sports book series for girls ages 6-8. She does keyword research on Amazon, generates 15 short stories with Claude, refines them with ChatGPT, then formats in Google Docs before moving to cover design, audiobook creation with ElevenLabs, and Amazon KDP publishing.

Let me. Hey, everybody. Hopefully this is working. Hopefully we are. We're trying to get this all set up so that I can. Because we had a computer trouble so we had to obviously stream into. Oops, sorry. Audio. Hold on. Problem. All right, cool. Get this going to stream into the group. And let me just. Just two more seconds and let me drop the link. Alrighty, got that going. What we are going to talk about today is how to make passive income with your using the AI and writing a book with it. So what I want to do is I kind of want to show you guys my. Where I'm going with this, what I want to write, how I want to organize this. So a couple weeks ago we talked about different keywords and different programs that you could use. And just know there's a new computer coming on Friday. So hopefully our whole streams will be much better starting next week. So fingers crossed on that one. So we. I talked about finding keywords, right. And finding books that people actually are. They're looking for. They actually want to. To buy them. So here's a keyword here. Soccer books for girls. Because I have what I would consider a winning book over here, which is softball books for girls 6 through 8. So I think we're right at the same age 6 through 8. As you can see, this has a volume of 53 searches every single month. 500 in competition. And the soccer books have more than 10x that and only 2000 competitions. So we're looking about 4x on competition, but we have like a 12x on search volume. But here's the deal, right? Like I don't have this book written. I don't have this book together. I have no idea what this book is going to be about at all. So what I have to do now is I'm going to have to create it. And what I want to use is I want to actually use AI to help me with this process. And I am going to use Claude to start with. Right. What I actually might want to do here, I'm going to look through and go back through to see if I can go bestsellers. And let's see if we can like find a book in here. So this book right here sells a lot of them every single day. Soccer for small smart kids. Don't break the balance beam. Nancy Clancy, Soccer score. Okay, so we're gonna take this book right here and pet lizard name. So what I want to do is I actually want to grab this book here. We want to go back. Clicked on a link. All right. Okay. So I'M going to say I need your help to write a short story book about life lessons, mental toughness, leadership, personal development that will be targeted two girls, six through eight years old old, who play and love soccer. Needs to play into this. Amazon keyword 6 through 8. And here is a best selling soccer book. Okay, now what I'm also doing is I'm hit stop for just a minute. And I want to say I want this. I want my book to be about different girls from that look different and our body. I want each short story to. Okay, I just wanted to clarify with it like, I want these to be like different people in each one of these chapters of the book, right? So Maya's new team. So what I want to do ultimately is I want this to generate me a book about that's going to like play into my other book, right? It's going to be like volume two of Believe in Yourself. Now this one's just going to be for soccer players for girls, right? And I'm going to say I need, I need 15 different short stories. I'm going say tell me the plot points using story beats. And now I believe that's what it's called. I believe it's called story beats. Yeah. This is kind of like another. There's like, it's gonna be kind of like a take on the hero's journey. Let's go back to see what Claude's got for us. A new girl's first goal. Sophia, a shy newcomer joins the team. Struggles to keep up at practice. So sportive teammate encourages her to keep trying. Sophia, practice hard. Final. In her first game, Sophia scores a girl. Perfect. Like right? Tough defender meets girls. Glasses teaser. Being clumsy. Big game. She makes a saving tackle. Realizes her height is an advantage. Perfect, perfect, perfect. Cool. Okay, now what I need to do is I need to say I have limited. I guess I didn't need to paste it in there because it already knows what it is. Okay. I have found like if you make the words. So this is what I'm doing next, right? I'm saying make the words between 2500 and 3000. Because what this allows me to do is to make sure, like there is enough buffer in that, in that space. Now I'm also going to do over here. I was going to open up a new tab. So as you guys are seeing, this is something that I could sit down in a couple evenings on a laptop. I could knock it out. I could then put this on Amazon, right? Run a few little Amazon ads and really hopefully this is going to start to generate me, you know, a couple of sales every day. And if I can have three or four books that are going to generate me $10 a day at $30, just a thousand dollars at the end of the month, that's kind of my goal, right? If I can have three of these books. Because what I can also do now that I'm up here, say while that is also going over here, let's look up volleyball books for girls 226 results. We'll wait for the search volume to come through here. Average monthly sales 231, 278. Right. So I think for the softball book we were looking at 53 in a competition of 226. Now I can come through here and do the exact same thing with this volleyball book right here is rebel girls champions 25 tales of unstoppable Athletes. But for this one I would want to make sure that this is the right title that people are searching. I just put that in there. So what we would do is we'd come over here and go, okay, look, Volleyball books for girls 9 through 12. So now what I will want to do. This seems to be like a slightly better of a keyword. And let's see what the search volume is when it comes up. It's about 17 sales. It's 22. Okay, so that's not as good of the keyword there. Volleyball books for girls still 456. So 628 is probably going to be our best section here. Our best keywords. So let's go back to Claude, see if this one is done. I'm just going to hit copy, put it to my Google document. I'm going to hit paste here. Like I said, new computers coming on Friday. Hopefully this is the hope. Okay, I'm gonna go back to Claude and I'm gonna say now write the second. Now write the second short story. And it already has the outline. Now what I could do is I could always then come back through and paste in the outline if I needed to. So I think we're at a really good point with this. And go over here to tools word count. See how many words wrap. Perfect. We're at 22. So if we have say ultimately we're going to have 10 of these stories, then we're at like 20,000 words. We want our books to be kind of in that hundred page range. I obviously maybe 150 pages. We're going to double space these. We're going to make the font really big. So it is going to get like much more in depth than this one. Alrighty. I'm going to copy this. I'm going to say now write the third short story. Like we really are not joking when so much of this is copy and pasting you guys and all do copy and paste on this. You can all come through and do it the way that this is being done by making this book. That's going to come through here. And if all you do is you're going to sell a few of these every single month and it's just straight passive income. That. That I would say is a win. That is a big time win there. Now soccer books for girls 8 through 12 obviously is the first one that pops up here. And that might be a little. Right. A little more. We might have to change this a little bit. We still have 2,000 results. Suit search volume is 664. It's about the same. Probably is going to sell about every single day based on these different books, right? Here's saving the team the kicks. This one sells nine books a day. Okay. And in paperback it's probably making about $3. It's probably making about $30 a day. So that's obviously. It is by Alex Morgan. So obviously she's kind of a big soccer player. Right? Might be a little bit of exaggeration on that one, right? Like a little bit of additional. But here's one right? Soccer show off. There's three sales a day. It's probably making 10 bucks a day. And 8.99. Yeah, I'm gonna say it's probably making 250 to 3 bucks a day. And that's something that is just repeating every single day on autopilot. And you really do not have to think about it. It's unlike Facebook ads. You don't have to go through and analyze them. Your ads aren gonna break the same for the. We're on the fourth short story. I find that Claude is. Is really, really good in the way that it does this. In that it's a little bit of a different model. I feel like it's a little better when it comes to like storytelling and in different aspects like this. Granted, I've written. I wrote those other books with Chat GPT and really you guys are kind of starting to see how this all comes together, right? How this is so simple to do and you can find your thing, right? You can find. Where can you provide expertise? Where can you provide value with something like this? How can you put this together so that you can make these books that are just simply going to, every single day, basically rinse and repeat and basically send you money if you do it right. If you do it right with finding the right keywords, you have a quality product, you have something that's kind of a unique point. As long as you have done that, then you will be good. If you just try to spit something out and it's a keyword that you think you, you, you like, you don't know if anybody else likes it. Right? That's, that's not going to work. Now, one thing I always do is I always come in here and format, just for sanity sake, these as headlines just so I can come back to them, because they're going to pull off over here on the side. So I'm just going to. Let's see. And shift option one, if I wanted to do it that way. So you see just like a little bit of prep work, a little bit of time, a little bit of just like, if I'd already grabbed these from the beginning, I wouldn't have to go through here and format them. And captain of the day, there should be one more cool format text headline. One, let's go back and have it. Now write the fifth short story. And at this point, captain of the day. Okay, go down to the bottom here. Clots coming through. Finishing. Okay, I'm gonna hit copy. And all I'm doing is I'm just asking it to do the same thing, right? Rinse and repeat. Writing these chapters just like you wrote the last one. We started with an outline, so, so we know where we're going. If we did ever get into a spot where it went cattywampus, or for whatever reason, we're just going to copy and paste or refer back to that outline that we did. So we know like, hey, here's book. Here's chapter one. Here's chapter two. Here's short story three. I like to call them short stories. I think it fits for this age of child. I think, I think it makes sense for them. And I think for, for me, it's just kind of like a cool thing, right? Because I don't have to write a full book. I don't have to keep a story going for a full book. I really can just come through here. They're two to 3,000 words. They're pretty simple. For the seventh, basically, I'm just cued. I have it. Queue up the next one. Paste this one over here. All right, goalkeepers, courage. Now, like, with anything, it is going to say, like, you know, hey, the Longer the chats, the less accurate it becomes. And so that's just something to keep an eye out on this. Maybe it'd be a spot where it gets a little cattywampus. I don't know that. The midfield master was the seventh one. We gotta scroll up here. All right, we have to open this one. Oops. I wanted it to come down here and it's the next one down because I said I wanted it to be 15 stories and seven is. Oh, it is the midfield master. Okay, so what I want to do is copy this first. So I have this file new in a new tab, new document here, paste this here. This is like a little bit of that prep. If I'd done this the first time, I wouldn't. I wouldn't have to have gone back and done this. Okay, now we're going back to Claude, scrolling all the way down to the bottom. Open this one. Nope, that's not what I want to do. I'm going to hit copy here and scroll down to the end. Tap, tap. And I'm just going to grab and format this one. And as you can see, we are already 29 pages in. Word count is 11,000. So we're really at a really good point. We probably want to do is we're going to want to come through here, double up the. Increase the font, make our letter spacing 1.5. But I would only suggest this, like, once you have gotten your book right, you can always do that just to check. But if you're still going through this process, then sometimes that can get annoying. So just so you know that. But we're not going to keep it at that size. So if you're like, this book's not very long. It's definitely not anywhere near 100 pages. I have no idea how I'm ever going to get there with that. Just know that really we're going to increase the font, we're increase the spacing on it, things like that. So now the other thing is going to be, is the size. Our. Our book is not going to be eight and a half by 11. Our book is going to be closer to six by nine. So that's really going to significantly shrink this page down. Plus we're going to have to have margins on the sides of it that are a little bit bigger than what we currently have. I'm just going to queue that up so that that is ready when I am ready to copy this over and I can hit boom. And you can see how you can really get into a cycle with this and you can go through. And now we are 25 minutes into it. We have our concept, we have our outline. We have set. Set up what the first eight chapters of this book are going to be. All we got to do now we do a few bit of formatting on it. Do the rest of these chapters as you can see, right. You can just see how simple this is to make this process. And really at this point with the AI there is no excuses anymore. There is absolutely. When you figure out the system and you put it together, there is no excuse as to why you cannot come through here and. And make it make a book like this. Right now a little update. The cat book is. I don't know if it's finally published yet or not. We had some, it had some issues with some of the AI photos in terms of actually getting the, the, the thought it had writing on it. So there's some kind of like they call them gutter issues and things like that. So you're, you're going to have these little issues right here and there. But we're already through. We're. It's right gonna write the tenth version of this for us. The tenth short story. We're gonna scroll this up and we gotta grab where it. That's unlikely. Striker. Oops. I saw it right there. The comeback kid. You could also would probably want to space these to be like they, you know they're gonna have to end on the right pages. Right. So if you know in a traditional book you don't ever start a chapter on the back facing of a page. You always want to start on on the page that you're. You're looking at. Unfortunately I don't I put the books up but just know it's like little things like that. I'm gonna have to go through here and format. I'm have to add page numbers. I might want to add some kind of like bonus or something to it. Right. Different things like that going through this process. I'm say do this same for the 11th. Right. We're on 11, I believe 10 was that one. I'm going to copy this first. Push that up. Going over here. We're at 28 minutes. We've almost written how to AI almost has written us a full book at this point. Which is beyond crazy. Right. This is something we would have to come up with these stories. We'd have to come up with these characters. We'd have to you know, you know, figure out the story beats and how it's going to come together in this process to tell this story, write it. And you definitely would not. I mean, I don't even know if you would be able to actually come up with, like, your first chapter in. In 28 minutes. You would maybe be lucky if you maybe had a page written or you even had the chapter outlined. And AI has come through and has already allowed us to do this much of the process. And, like, we've just copied and pasted the 10th one in. And at this point, let's see, it's already done with the 11th. So this is beyond absolutely crazy that this is the point of where technology is at, that we are here. We're gonna have 12 short stories written in 30 minutes. And now we know, like, hey, we can come back through here and we can rinse and repeat and do this. Same concept for volleyball. We can do it or whatever. Whatever makes sense for you. If it's pets or if it's crafting or whatever. Like, find your thing that you can kind of dominate in, right? You can play the game that you can actually win is another way to put it. And it's really finding something that that works. And you go through this process. And we're gonna have to have it go retry. Now we're having it go through. We only have a 12, 14, 12, 13, 14, and 15 left. So we're easily going to be able to have this pretty much done in 45 minutes and be a whole book. What I will do next is I'll take what I have, I'll go to chat GPT and I'll have it say, you are the toughest Amazon critic that is out there. I need you to give me. How many stars would you give this book? I want you to be really tough. And then I asked for where it needs to make changes, and then I have AI write the changes for that, and then I make a cover for it. And then I go the same for the 13th story. And I pop this guy in here now. And I just have AI help me through this whole process of it. The only thing is, I would. I would definitely. You would want to. For your book cover, you'd want to make sure that you got the right photo. I don't know that I quote, unquote, use AI to do that for me. Especially softball. It's just not quite accurate enough yet. But for whatever this is, if it's survival, if it is cooking, if it is boating, like, find a keyword, have AI write you an outline for it. It doesn't have to be short stories about sports. Players, we're on 14 should grab. I grab the copy, hit the up arrow. I do have it sent for the next one. And now we've got quite the book coming together. That is a very, very good rough draft of this, right? We have a very unique opportunity where we can. Now all we have to do is we have to iterate on this. And remember, your book can iterate, it can get better, it can improve. The only thing is you can't change your title. So keep that in mind when you are writing these books is going through this process. Now, one thing I do always want to come back and say is like, I oftentimes want them to be different team names. And that's one thing I didn't tell the AI specifically. This is like a sports thing now, right? The. So this is all I'm doing, right? I'm coming through this process. I'm having it, right? This one. Oops, I gotta grab this one. Did we get the see, did we get the process of what was the last one? The rainy day. Now, obviously, here we go. The West Wildcats, Westfield Wildcats. And what we would want to do next is come through. I think we still need to paste in which one was the one above. It was the big sister. We're going to want to go through and probably change a lot of the sports team names just because they're all on the Wildcats, right? We want them to have different names, different teams, different players and going through this process. So. But like I said, here we are, we're almost done. We've almost written a full book in 33 minutes using AI, using Claude, using some, some. Some SEO, right? Just kind of having a better way of. Of. Of tackling this. Writing a book that people are looking for, right? They're searching for this keyword. And now all we got to do is we got to play into that and we got to just, just basically put a little bit of icing on the. On the book here. I'm gonna come through here now. I mean, maybe we do. Maybe it is all the same team, right? Like, there is no rules in this. There is. It is however you want this to be, right? So I'm gonna call this Believe in your In Yourself Soccer. I'm gonna come over here, I'm going to download this as a PDF. Okay? I'm gonna go here to ChatGPT. I'm gonna show you this process and then I'll let you guys go off and make your own books. Find your keywords. Find the things that excite you that you would Enjoy talking about. You would enjoy writing about, you have something to say about and then have AI help you to craft that message. So you are a highly critical Amazon reviewer. You just bought this book for your. Sometimes you have to tell it to be honest, right? Sometimes you have to tell it. I want you to be. I want you to be very critical of this, right? And then what I also really want this to do is I want this to tell me, where do I make this book better at, right? Pacing. At times, pacing felt slow, particularly in the practice sessions. Some sections could be shorter. Complexity. While the book touches on important life lessons, it sometimes risks being a little predictable and how conflicts are resolved. The lessons learned in the chapters are great, but the outcome may feel simplified. So tell me where I could. Could improve. Prove this and be civic. What? Right. Remember, AI is just a conversation between you and the technology, right? And what I'm allowing this to do is I'm just allowing this to help make my book better, right? Help make it more improved. Now, what I would do here, right, I have this part here. I'm going to go over here to Claude and say, I just got this advice from a Can you rewrite story one to make it better? And as you guys are seeing, like, right, this is just a process now, it's going to go back through and it's going to rewrite this one, right? Chapter one, we're coming back. It's got chapter two, three, four, five, six, seven and eight. So it seems like it's just mostly the first part of the first books, the first couple chapters. And remember, this is also something that I could go through here and have AI actually read now, have an audiobook. Now. I have a whole nother way that I can monetize this book in this process by just taking a little bit of time and really just going through what is possible with this, right? It's just another tool. And it's a way like, if we can stack wins, we can stack dimes, we can just have little tiny streams of revenue, then we can do some really cool things. If we don't have to worry about a thousand dollars a month because we wrote three books and now, now they're all selling at roughly $300 a month. Happy freaking days is what I like to say on that one, I think. Trey Lou, Go Cha Ching. See, the really cool thing about this that we really haven't even touched on with this is once we have this process, once we have a book that sells, we know how to sell more of them, which is Using a funnel, right? We'd use a free plus shipping offer. We'd have some type of backend on the back of it. We'd make additional money that way. We run these people through Facebook ads. These people are out there. If they're looking for this book on Amazon, they are probably those people that don't even know that they need this book. But when they see it, when they learn about it, when they find out more about it, they're going to say, I have a daughter that plays softball because that's how Facebook's going to target them. Or I have somebody that plays softball that I know, somebody I play softball that I love. And we're going to go out and we're target them, but we're also going to use that. And now. And now they don't even know that they want this book. But we have that proof of concept that people do want these books because it's selling on Amazon. People are searching for it on Amazon. We could get Amazon reviews from it, right? Add some social proof to our own books with it. Sell it through a funnel. Like I said, these people don't even know that they want it yet. But that's the beauty of a funnel, and that's the be with Facebook ads. So that's kind of how you take it to ramp two to the next level. And maybe that's what we'll do next week. Maybe we will build out the. The book funnel for the Believe in Yourself softball book. Um, I actually have a copy of that. We can do one of two ways. We can use the, obviously the Trey Llewellyn ofa funnel. Maybe a little split, test them. Right? Who knows? Right? We'll do. We'll do them back and forth. Trey Llewellyn, a traditional book funnel. See which one works. But as you guys can see, it just takes a little bit of time, a little bit of practice, a little bit of diligence going through this process. Have AI write you an outline. Go chapter by chapter. Don't ask it to write the whole book chapter by chapter. Then go through, put it in a Google Doc and, and ask AI to review it and ask them to be really, really hard on it. And then ask it, how do I improve this? And it will tell you, and you make those improvements and then you iterate on it. And I usually go through that process about two to three times and say, where can I improve this app? Where can I make this better app? I might read it myself. I might not even read it myself, right? It just kind of depends. And then obviously the next step would be to use 11 laps to have it create the AI audio for audiobook for it, which I think could be very, very cool. So with that being said, I'm gonna stop it here. You guys have seen the process up to this point. This is probably what I would call the manuscript part. Rinse and repeat. Then all you gotta do is format it, which we've already covered on Amazon kdp and do different things like that. And then you can launch your book and get it out there and do some little Amazon ads. And if it sells on Amazon, then come back through on the back end and do some funnel and some Facebook ads. So, that being said, have a wonderful day. I will see you guys all next week.
