Do This To Get 5-10 More Clients Per Month in 2024

Matthew Larson walks through his system for writing B2B content and tweets that convert, using three filters: would you pay $5 for this, is it actionable, is there a unique insight. He shows concrete examples across personal brand, offers, and funnels, then covers email flows, paid ads, onboarding in the first 48 hours, and metrics like LTV and CAC.

In this video, you're gonna watch me write some tweets and make some B2B content in real time. So if you never watched one of my videos before. My name is Matthew Larson and I'm the founder of 1000xleads.com. Creating content like this is very, very important if you want to get clients. Hopefully this video can break some self limiting beliefs around writing content. It's really not that hard, it doesn't take that long and you get better at it over time. Just like with anything, practice makes you a lot better. So when we're writing each individual tweet or post or whatever you want to call it, we want to ask ourselves the following things. Number one is even these are free. Would I honestly pay $5 to read this? Number two, is this useful or actionable? And number three, is there a unique insight like not obvious type thing? And these are very good guidelines. They're not going to be hard and fast rules but very good guidelines to go off of to get on the right track. So I am in my Hype Fury account here. It's just a scheduling tool that's great for Twitter. So and what I'm going to do is go to zoom out a little bit. Well, you can't see it but on the left hand side here I'm going to go to recurrent posts and I'm going to go to manage categories and I'm going to go to my category called value Tweets here. And this is where we're going to write our tweet. So you know, I'm writing a tweet answering an FAQ here, blah blah, blah, blah, blah. So what we'll be doing is we're going to write our stuff here and then we're going to click LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook and this will essentially cross post it. It'll automatically make it into a carousel. We can do either text or carousel for LinkedIn, we can do, you know, the same for Facebook, etc. So we don't really want to check these off until after because then we'll have to edit them all individually. But the things that I tweet about at for like my business are, you know, I have a program for lead gen 1000x leads and the three main pillars that we kind of go over and focus on are your personal behavior, your offer and your funnel. Because these are the three things that are going to make you a lot of money and they're also the three things that, you know, if one of these let's give Them an arbitrary scale from 1 to 10. If, if you have a 10 out of 10 funnel and a 10 out of 10 offer, but your behavior is a 2 out of 10, your business is not going to rise higher than a 2 out of 10 type of thing. So one of these three things is always going to be the constraint. So I try to talk about all of them relatively equally, if that makes sense. So let's get into it and let's do our best to abide by these rules. But in some ways, like they're guidelines more than actual rules. So what should we tweet today? We could tweet about offers, about funnels, about behavior change. There's tons and tons of different stuff in like subtopics in those three things. So let's do something like this. So does your business have the following revenue streams, Paid product, affiliate links, course program, referral, partnerships, fees, intro offer, recurring service. Does your business have the following things? This is kind of, I would say valuable because, you know, if they don't know this or their business doesn't have it, this is what would having all of these revenue streams leads to a stable plus scalable business. Put them on the to do list and I think this is a pretty good tweet. If I had to give myself a little credit, you know, if they don't know this, they pay $5 to read this and it might, you know, really make them a lot of money. Is it useful and actionable? I guess so. Like if you don't have them, put them on the to do list, ready to go. And is there a unique insight? I think so. I wouldn't say a lot of this stuff is obvious and you don't hear too many people talking about it. So I'm going to post this or schedule it rather and save. There's tweet number one. What could we do? Either when most people make offers, they do an or you don't pay guarantee because they understand that there is risk involved with, you know, with someone giving you money. But there are other types of risk to consider. Financial risk, you screwing it up. Time, effort, risk, you. And this is going to be, this is where the writing tweets has to be in 280 characters. Unless you're doing a thread fixing what you screwed up. Reputation risk, consequences of you screwing it up. Ego risk, trying and failing. You need to address all five types of risk to create a great offer. So let's see. Because this is fixing what you screwed up. Financial risk, time risk, reputation, time and effort. You could do it something like this. Most people. Financial your fee There are five types of risk to consider when creating a great offer. Fixing your screw up and this is where it's good Consequences. Of you screwing it up trying. All five types must be negated to create a grand slam offer consequent of fixing your screw up. I think this there are five types of risks to consider when creating a great offer. Financial your fee Financial you screwing it up Time and effort Fixing your screw up reputation Consequences of you screwing it up your screw up ego Trying and failing all five types of. You need to minimize all five types. Something like that. I think this is a good tweet. Not obvious or unique. Insight useful and actionable. You gotta do it. Would I pay $5 to read it? I probably would if it really helps my offer. Let's go to another one. What could be another one? Digital product Cheat sheet Make them more money or save time Templates. Bonus 1 bonus 2 bonus 3 bonus 4 master class swipe File of examples. What would some other ones be like? This is how to create a great digital product Bonuses masterclass Swipe File of examples Templates. What should I do here? And this is like good stuff because when you are actually writing tweets like there's going to be these long awkward pauses where you're thinking everybody when they make their YouTube videos and oh my God you should do Twitter has a very scripted edited version of it where in real life it's not like that. Swipe File of examples Community access. You can never go wrong with this. Value Stack. Sweep File of examples Master Class Community access what would be a good one? Lifetime updates would be a good one. So if someone wants to make a digital product to have a paid ad funnel for their agency or something like this is a very good value stack. You know templates make some more money or save some time Product must make them more money or save them time. Bonus number five Exact step by step plan can never go wrong with this value stack. I think that fits the bill. Just like there we're going to go put it there. So what can we do next when running paid ads for a B2B business there are four main types of funnels. Webinar VSL funnel newsletter funnel Group Funnel Paid Product Funnel if you have never run paid ads before, always start with the paid product funnel as it is the easiest to wrap your head around. Newsletter funnel go bsl funnel. There are four main types of paid ad funnels for B2B businesses. I think this is a good one. What could I Do what about behavior change 1. Reframe thought habit when your alarm goes off no. Ugh. I can't believe it's 5am already. Yes. I am so lucky and grateful that I can finally get up and work. Of Thought habit has a huge impact on your behavior. Apply to any part of life. You put that one in brackets too. So behavior change if you want to wake up earlier, reframe thought habit when your alarm goes or goes up in the morning. Very nice. I think so behavior change funnels, all that kind of stuff. So what could we do here? Every B2B business should have two types of email flows. Your 60 minute email flows your 30 day email flows. 60 minute email 60 minute email flows lead magnet delivery what you do, why they need to do it, how you do it 30 day email flows answer one FAQ per day for 30 days. Something like that. I think that's very good. Not unique insight. Is this useful and actionable? Would I pay $5? Probably. Probably. If you are reading this and have any sort of IQ or brain power whatsoever, you should know. Eh? I don't want to do too edgy at least on this Very very Try to keep them positive vibes, you know, don't need to insult the target audience. That never works out very well. I'm gonna do maybe five more tweets here and then wrap up this video. But this is the act of how you would be doing this. When people say you need to post content. You know everybody has their nice fancy edited YouTube video or they've been doing this for 10 years and it's second nature. But if you are trying to get into this, this is what you'd be doing the very like Is this useful? Actionable? Would I pay to read this? Is there a unique insight? All of that kind of stuff the five systems every business needs to scale Financial tracking system Input improvement tracking system Employee training system Productivity system and what would be the fifth one? What would be something that I really want to do? And I'm going to pull up my to do list because I writing an actual. Spend an hour per day for the next five days and try to implement the shell of implement the basics as best you can. There we go. I like that one a lot. Systems, all that kind of stuff. Training. What would I like to do? Most important metrics to be tracking 180 day ltv cac ltv to cac ratio. Break even Time to break even on ad funnel Cold emails sent per meeting booked posts YouTube videos per week Newsletters per Newsletters sent per Week. Hours worked income versus expenses net margin. I like that a lot. Cold emails sent per meeting. Per lead. Very nice. Might do a few more here and then we'll wrap it up. But this is. If this is kind of awkward or uncomfortable to watch, this is how it is in reality. So it's just one of those things, you know, everybody like I keep saying has, you know, puts on a nice face. That's their highlight reel, their edited YouTube video. But this is how it would actually work. So what else could we do? Quick. One of the best things you can do to get referrals plus reduce churn is to absolutely nail the first 48 hours after onboarding. Automatic onboarding email onboarding form Deliver document of 20 Quick Wins Deliver doc of 20 mistakes Introduce to team members access to swipe files. Let them know when you start. Let's try to do that there. 3, 4, 5, 6 and because Twitter has 280 character limit forces you to write in a concise way. A step by step roadmap. One of the most important things in B2B businesses is to nail the first 40 hours onboarding. Now I kind of like what I had before. Want to reduce churn plus get more referrals. Nail the first 48 hours onboarding period. I like that. Couple more tweets. Couple more tweets and then we'll be good. Two more for sure. I keep saying a few more. Two more. One more that I have right here and then one more after. There is nothing on earth that will cost you more money than your phone. Delete all apps Non essential apps Remove all apps from the home page. Turn off all notifications except text phone. Turn it to grayscale. Have a plastic bag. You put it in when you are working. Delete. One more. One more. One more. What should we do? Behavior Change Funnel Offer Behavior Change Funnel Offer Behavior Change Funnel offer every B2B business should have two core offers. One time. Intro offer recurring service. Each of these covers the other's weakness. Intro offer has is easy to sell but has no MRR Recurring service Is hard to sell but has MRR sell Intro offer then upsell into recurring bang. Never done So I hope this video was useful to see how it actually works. Not just the highlight reel that people put on for themselves or something like that. If you like this video like comment and subscribe and I'll see you in the next one.
