How To Learn From Your Favorite YouTubers Faster

If you want to learn something much faster from your favorite YouTuber or favorite groups of YouTubers or anyone who teaches something on YouTube that's very audio focused, this isn't going to work if you need to watch the video. But if you want to learn something from YouTube specifically that you could just listen to and you want to just do that faster and kind of build a little database or a little bank of that content here, here's what you'd want to do. So we're going to open up YouTube. We're going to search. Let's search Alex Hermosi here because it's a good one that I like to watch. And we'll go to. You can choose whichever videos you want. So if I wanted to learn something about sales, I would probably open that one. If I want to fix my onboarding, let's say, and I'll do that one. If I want to manage some employees, I'll do that one. And I'm going to do this with like four of them or so if I want to basically do that, I will do that right there. So we also want to open chat GPT and if you don't have chat GBT open, you want to open that. And what I'm going to do here is I'm going to go docs new to open my Google Docs Docs new again. Docs new again. Doc set new again. And we'll just do it four and then I want to go sheets new. So let's just say this sheet is Alex Hermosi and you can set it up any way you want, any way you like. I'm just going to do it like that for here. So video title, video topic, link to video link to document. I'm going to do something of this nature. I'm going to make this black and white just so it is kind of stands out as a. We'll go with the title or the labels. Put this at 300 for example. So what I want to do need to listen to them new is I'm going to go to transcript. I'm going to copy and paste this. I'm going to put it in here. I'm going to copy and paste it properly and then do it in there. Oh, I guess I did the first time. No problem. I'm going to change this to the actual no background and this is the sales video. So what I'm going to do here is I'm going to put this as well. We'll go Editor anyone? So video topic is sales and then the Link to the video like that or link to the document, rather like that. Link to the video like that. And then the. Let's get my face out of the way a little bit. And then I'm going to go like this and I'm going to put that here. Probably want to. If we're going to do it like this, we'd probably want to go to format and go clip so it doesn't spill over. Video title might be larger, so we'll put it like that. Don't really need the link to the video to be that long if we don't want to, but we'll just leave it at that long for now because we can. Obviously we're an aristocrat, so we got to do Montserrat. And now what I'm going to do here is. Rewrite this or take my copy and paste and just turn it into the normal formatting. So we're going to wait for it to do that. And this is like a very interesting thing because if you are studying a YouTuber and what to do, you'll see the hook, you'll see all of that kind of stuff where it's like, this is just the script. So we'll just go like that for now and we might take a little while. So let's see, 26 pages, it's not formatted properly really, but it's going to take a while. It's going to be quite a few words. So let's go to the word counter and see how many words. It's going to be 6,000 words, but there's a. I don't know if how much like the timestamp counts as a word, but. So we'll go back there. Sometimes you gotta yell at chatgpt a bit if it doesn't do it. Exactly. So let's just go to the end down here and then compare it. Yeah, See, that's not the exact same thing, I don't think. No, just do the entire thing exactly as I inputted it. Do not skip a single word. If you need to do this in various messages, let me know. It's fine. So when you're doing this, save some time and just do it like that because I think this is going to be important. And then we can do this with all of them as we wait. So we'll go down here and then there's a bit more. So these are going to be long, especially in this example because Alex Hormozi makes rather long videos. But if it's like a 12 minute video, it might not be so long. It's a great way to rip people's ads too, or do like textbooks or whatever. I don't think I'm going to do all of this at the same time for this video. I don't think that is necessary. But basically what I'm going to do is get the transcripts. I'm going to show. I'm showing you how the whole thing works there with chat, gbt and I showed you how I like to format them in the spreadsheet. But I don't think I'm going to. I don't think anybody needs to just watch me do this more than once. Because why would you. So you can do this with as many or a few videos as you want. Like if you're trying to learn a specific skill. Another good one is like let's say I'm just learning to do Facebook ads. I would just search up a bunch of Facebook ad videos and courses and then I'm going to kind of take the average of those, for example, Have them all on the paper, have them all copy and pasted in like that. And then I would. Say like what is in common from these things? What, what can I learn from those? But this is a great method to generate content for yourself, for your employees, for that kind of stuff. Or to just read as you're listening to the video. It's very good for retaining information. I tried that as well. But this is how you'll do it. And then you'll have basically all of their videos in text form. That's very valuable. You can also do this with ads library. You could go to some of your competitors or someone you know ads are doing well. Like we'll go the morning download, which is just a newsletter I read. Like if we know their ads are doing well. And actually it's a pretty bad example because there's no words in it. But if we are going to just go, this is one of my clients and he has a vsl, we can basically just like we can basically download this and then put it through there and then do it like that. So there's lots of good options for how to do this and the applications are endless. Whether you actually have a business like most people who watch my channel or you're in university or you are have a corporate job and just need to do this like very, very strong way to get all of that content. And then you can see what topics people are on. And actually before I end the video I'm going to say like write me a short summary of this or something like that. One thing I've always wondered is like do people like Alex Hermosi script this? And probably true it probably he does probably script all this. I don't know if that's the full video, but you can kind of that's the end of the auto generated transcript. So you can kind of assume it is. But when you do this, make sure you line up what you're getting an output versus like this here just to make sure it's actually following along properly. That's it.
