The Three Best Platforms To Generate Leads For Your Agency

YouTube, Instagram Reels, and a newsletter work together to generate agency leads. YouTube builds authority with long-form videos about client problems. Reels create viral social proof for paid ads. The newsletter converts warm leads into clients.

A lot of people do content, but they are wondering what the best platforms to generate leads are because there are some that are better than the others. So this video is going to be about what I view to be the top three. You can use them on their own, but they're especially powerful when you use them in conjunction with each other. Everything we do on this channel is in support of building and operating a full lead generation funnel like this one. Content is very, very powerful because it's at the top to drive traffic and you'll see which ones we use. It's also in the middle to drive traffic and, or to qualify and nurture leads. And it's also very important even after they actually become a client, because they consume your content, they become more bought in, less likely to give you attitude, more likely to do what you say, and overall less likely to churn. So this funnel is the same that I help over 550 business owners create. You can see more of that with the link in bio. And the first thing and platform that I recommend Everybody do is YouTube. Because YouTube is by far the best way to generate quality leads. And if I could only pick one thing, it would be YouTube. This is one of my case study videos that got over 222,000 views in the last year. And I made probably between 4 and 5 million dollars directly from this video. And I'm not know for sure, but maybe even more than that based on indirectly with some of the contracts that I signed where they didn't necessarily come from this video, but they came from, you know, they were influenced by it. They definitely watched it a couple of times before they made their decision and those were even more valuable. The best way to make YouTube videos in my opinion is to go on a 30 minute walk, you know, once or twice per week, brainstorm a list of problems that your target market faces and hopefully you know your target market or this is going to be very bad for you. Write an introduction, write bullet points on slides, and then just go through the slides, talking through it. It's by far the best way to do it. For 99% of people who don't have a team, don't necessarily want to do all of that editing. And that's the most effective kind of video in my experience. Based on every video on my channel, as well as a YouTube mastermind, I am in for both watch time and turning views into clients because not all views are equal. This is a very, very important part of the process to brainstorm the problems that your target market faces. Because by Far one of the top three reasons content doesn't work to generate leads for a lot of people is because they're not making content for their target market. They're making content usually for lower level people in their market, not the necessarily the people that they're trying to get. So my content, even though it barely gets more than 2,000 views on a good video, is, is specifically for people between 1 and $10 million per year. The problems or the content that those type of businesses have and or would want to consume is much different than someone trying to get from 0 to 10k per month. If I was just going to make videos about how to get your first client, basically nobody who's actually in my target market would resonate with that and would click or even watch the video because they simply don't have that problem versus a problem that how do I hire a team to get from 3 million to 10 million per year is a problem that they would have and would be top of mind. So a lot of people, their number one mistake, and it's one of the top three mistakes that I think are available to make on YouTube, is they don't make their content for their target market. YouTube is great because it drives traffic and it nurtures leads from other sources. So people come in through paid ads, they stumble upon your YouTube channel either accidentally or, or you promote it in your email flows, or someone receives a bunch of outreach or cold email from you, they Google your name, they see your YouTube channel. So YouTube is great on its own to drive traffic and get clients, but it also nurtures clients from other sources. And final thing YouTube does, and it's one of the most kind of the inverse of the critical mistake. I said the first mistake is people don't make it for their target market, but the second is they just make a bunch of random videos. YouTube is great because if you make videos, I'm on the same stuff every time. So mine is generating leads to get to 10 million. It basically lets you own that keyword or own that space in your target market's mind versus you make a bunch of random videos for different avatars that aren't really having to do with each other. It makes the algorithm very difficult to know what you're going to post and push it to the right audience. But it doesn't really own the space in people's minds. So. Alex Shamozi Business Content Ed Lawrence YouTube Nate Herc N8N automation when you do it, and you do YouTube and you do all your videos that are very valuable about kind of the same topic. You become the expert for someone who has that problem and that's how you really get clients. The second is Instagram reels. And this is by far the best source to achieve a combination of virality but also quality. It's far superior than TikTok in terms of caliber of leads. And I like to use these as in two ways. I don't really make them for Lead Generation Academy, but I make them for some of my other offers. And Instagram reels are very important for in terms of the to get views and stuff. But even more so in my view they're very important if you're running tremendous ad spend on meta, which I am because a lot of people will see your ad click on your profile and then your reels and your follower count acts as both a form of social proof as well as nurtures the content from the paid ads and other sources. The difference in quality and likelihood to show up to the call and take action with someone who clicks on your ad and your profile is blank versus you have a lot of valuable content is night and day. And the best way to create these is to solve a problem in your niche. Faces so similar to part one with YouTube but you have to do it in 60 seconds or less. So you have to have a hook, you have to have basically the application or how to do it and then you have to have your call to action type thing. By far the best way to get a lot of views quickly. And it's very easy to kind of make these videos too in comparison to the long form YouTube videos. I would recommend scripting and editing these videos though just because the target market is different and less attention span, more, you know, scrolling through the feed and they have to stand out but still very, very valuable. The final one is the newsletter. And I feel like this is by far the best tool to convert people who already know about you from another traffic source like ads, YouTube outreach, cold email. Convert those people from lead into paying clients. That's usually some people's big problem is this phase where they're maybe in the middle, upper bottom funnel, but they just don't have enough trust and authority to actually turn them into clients. And the newsletter is the ultimate opportunity to teach people and to build authority. The bad part about it is it has to work in conjunction with other traffic sources as people just don't. You know, you're not just going to have a newsletter and an email list magically, right? But once you do, once you have those other sources, it is The a very interesting kind of stream of consciousness from your brain to theirs. It feels extremely personal. It feels extremely one on one. And in my view, it's kind of the number one way to get clients like that, because you're teaching them, you're building authority. It's very personal. And you can have as many easy to click links as you want in the newsletter that go directly to your calendar or whatever. It's a very, very common thing for someone to come into your funnel through ads, see some content, read 10 newsletters, for example, and then book a call. And a lot of people just don't have the newsletter in their funnel as a tool where they're emailing them every day or three times per week to finish off the process of going from the top of the funnel to the bottom. They come in through ads, through content, through outreach, they get on the list, the email flows, and they just kind of get stuck in here where if they went through the newsletter, they could easily qualify themselves or qualify them to get to the website to book a call and so forth. So these are the three best content platforms. If you're trying to generate leads, I hope the video was valuable and I'll see you in the next one.
