A personal story about taking risks and starting a business. The speaker talks through fear of judgment and the emotional weight of betting on yourself, making the case that reward requires you to actually risk something.
We don't get the reward without the risk. Right. And that you can get into the emotion. If anyone when you're telling the story, you can get into the emotion. Like when my wife and I risked this, we were scared. People in our family thought we were crazy. People remember that I tell the detail that I lied to my dad about how much my first investment was because they can relate to that. So when you find these little things everyone that makes it more relatable the emotion. People thought I was crazy. I didn't tell. I didn't tell people in my life what I was doing right. Or if I talk about the first time I wanted to just build a website and I wanted to do everything in my and I didn't want to tell anybody that I was actually doing this business because I was so afraid that it wasn't going to work. Afraid of judgment when I hit that fear. People can relate. So Michael, I think if you can get into that motion but I love that framework.
