This is a harsh truth of life, but every single person is either pushing you forward or holding you back. There's no in between. You need to determine which one of those two someone is in your life and spend more time around the people who are pushing you forward. I don't believe there's any such thing as someone who's just keeping you the same. I think it's one or the other. The people that are pushing you forward are the people who are encouraging you to think bigger, who give you energy, who support you in your ambitions, who support you in your big talk about the future. The people who are holding you back are the people that laugh at your ambitions. They tell you to be realistic. They sort of snicker, they talk shit behind your back. They, you know, say all these negative things about you. You don't need that in your life. And it doesn't mean you have to go tell them, hey, you're cut out of my life. But don't give your energy to those people, because your energy is finite. The people that you give that energy to need to be really well thought out because it impacts your reality and your future.
