I train a lot of sales people. They're, like, waiting for somebody to, like, support them, like a family member, be like, hey, good job. You know, I support you. And I say your job inside of sales is not to wait for the admiration and support from your family. You didn't build a business for support. You build a business to support other people like your job. I think inside of business, go outside in the cold marketplace, solve problems, get paid money, and then go back to your family and go help them. And then one day, your family will say to you, thank you for the support you gave me. Thank you for changing my life. Thank you for helping me. The thank yous that you get in the end for supporting people that you love is going to feel much better than the support that you wanted from them in the beginning.
