Amaranatho Robey leads a session on silence as a facilitation tool at the NDB Festival. Participants explore what happens when nothing happens, noticing their reactions to quiet and learning to trust what emerges in the present moment.
Hello, Amaranatho.
Hello, Myriam.
I am very excited to welcome you at the Never Done Before Facilitation Festival, and I am curious, what is your session going to be about?
It's going to be about that— what happens when nothing happens.
And what are participants gonna think, feel, and do during and after your session?
Think, feel, and do. So I think that they're going to— well, I've lost my thought. So what they're going to do is they're going to understand the value of silence and how they can use that as a resource. And notice how they feel when they respond to silence, whether it's the positive version or the negative version, whether it's the one that's alive or the— it's the one that's dead. And from that place, to see how they can trust in what arises. from the present moment.
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing, Amma. I'm looking forward to see you at the festival in silence and inspiration.
