Kirsty Lewis, founder of School of Facilitation. What excites me about Never Done Before is it's— we are experimenting and trying new ways of working and doing things from the creation to the delivery, and the fact that we've got a truly global team working on this. And I pass the baton to Michelle because she's sitting to my right.
Hi, everybody. Michelle Howard from down the coast in Southeast Australia. And what excites me about Never Been Done Before is I really like risk and innovation. And it's lovely working with a group of people who are happy and courageous to play in that space of risk. So that's what excites me. Oh, and I'm going to pass to Eugenio.
Eugenio.
Yeah, I forgot what I was going to say, but what I am most excited about with the Never Done Before is the permission to be crazy and experiment without people judging me. So I am really playing with how can I be completely outrageous. So that's more or less what I'm working on. I don't know if I will succeed. I maybe become just mainstream, but okay, that would be also a never done before for me. That's it.
You pass the ball to someone else.
Laure? Yes, thank you. What excites me about never done before is stepping, I guess, into the unknown space and discovering what comes out of it. Maybe the chaos kind of frightens me. On the other hand, it attracts me because something will emerge, and that's the curiosity behind that. So thank you. And Matt, what about you?
I'm excited to add to the bag of tricks and see what other people are doing. I mean, necessity has forced us all to be wild inventors these days, and a lot of us are doing it in our own kind of little spaces. So I'm just curious to see what other folks are doing and share and then take some cool stuff away to, yeah, to Thank you.
Yeah, I'm glad to be here, and I'm the founder of the Beyond Company, and the thought is, can we dare to go beyond all that has come before every single day? And so for me, my whole life is dedicated to To never done before. And it's when we learn the most, when we dare to go across that edge. And it excites me. And every day I do this. But I have a master that I'm learning from, is my 4-year-old son. Because some of the things he's learning and the courage he has to try things out that he's never done before, it inspires me every day. I'm like, geez, this kid, man. How can he do that? How can he just not even— there's no fear in him at all whatsoever. So I think a fearless world lets us go beyond. And I think progression of human society and civilization has been based on this willingness to encourage to go beyond. So I'm glad to be here. And I see my buddy Shane, man. So I'm throwing it over to Shane. Good to see you, bro. Over to you.
Thanks, Patrick. So my name is Shane from Workshop Design. I'm excited about Never Done Before because I am sick of Post-it notes. I am excited about it for lots of reasons I've explained earlier, but I am truly and utterly sick of Post-it notes. If I never see one again in the rest of my life, I will be happy. So I want to try something where there are no Post-it notes, where we have experiences which are orchestrated, that feel real, that look real, even if they're remote. That's my current thinking. And I pass to— who's left? Matt's done.
Laura? Miriam! She wants to speak.
I pass it to Miriam.
Yay! Yeah, what excites me about Never Done Before is to create the opportunity where the unpredictable can happen. Because we get hired by clients, they have expectations, we have goals, and then as soon as we have goals and we have an agenda, everything becomes predictable. And I think this space where we can just try out new facilitation techniques and see what does this do to group collaboration and how can we use each other's brains, experiences, and various backgrounds to really create The space where we can create the new normal, becoming a think tank, seeing what else we can do with our facilitation superpowers and sharing it with the world. Yeah, so that excites me about it. Check-in completed.
