3 lessons that even a unlovable Chud like me got Rich from

Nathan Miller went from making minimum wage at Chipotle to building wealth in his early 20s through three things: believing in himself like Kobe Bryant did, reading books like Rich Dad Poor Dad, and grinding through habits like gym work and a dropshipping side hustle. He says the habits compound and anyone can do it.

How did an unlovable, woman-repelling chud like me get rich? That's a great question. And that's one that honestly, if I were in your guys' position, I'd be asking as well. Obviously, that's not really the case anymore. I do have a loving girlfriend now, guys, but I wasn't always in this spot. I didn't have the cars. I didn't have the house. I didn't have the life. I once was in a spot where I was— did not have anything attractive going for me. I had nothing going for me. I didn't go to college. Right? And I was just working in food service. I was working at Chipotle. I was literally rolling burritos, coming home stinky every day. And how did I get from rolling burritos at Chipotle to here? Because right where I'm at, like, this is my car, it's my pride and joy— not my pride and joy, let's say that— but this is something I just bought, something I'm very proud of, and I love driving. I live in a cool house, I have friends, I make money, I travel. Like, how do I go from someone who is so lost making burritos to someone who's at the position I am now. And there is one— there's not one thing, there's a few things that actually got me here, but there's a few things I only want to focus on in this video. And the one thing that I did back then that I still do now is— it sounds dumb, guys, but it's literally just have the belief that's even possible. For whatever reason, I've always had this self-belief in myself that I could do things. And that I never really thought when it came to making money or to starting a business and stuff like that, I never thought that it was too out of my reach. And the reason was is because I watched YouTube content of other people doing it like you guys are doing now. I listen to people who are where I want to be and listen to where they came from. And so I was listening to people like, you know, Jordan Welch. I was listening to even like MMA fighters and all these people who became successful and seemingly really came from the trenches, came from, you know, the ghetto, or came from poor-income families. Like, what got them to actually see success when they came from a terrible spot? Because I think a lot of people in this life, a lot of people want to say or blame their circumstances, blame their parents, blame, you know, the money they had growing up. But they don't realize that a lot of the people who are successful nowadays— there are some people who are like rich kids and stuff, of course, But there's a lot of people who came from nothing, and I'm one of them. And so how did we do that? We did it one, through self-belief, but one, from learning from the past, learning from the greats, learning from the people in our past. And what did all those people do? What did Conor McGregor do? What did all these people do? They worked hard, bro. They worked hard. But more than that, they believed and they manifested and they visualized it. And that's something that I realized. If you go read or go watch the Conor McGregor edits, like I used to do all the time, he had the craziest self-belief in himself. He was literally a plumber after high school, or whenever, I don't know, in his younger 20s, he was a plumber. He was working a plumber, and then a few years later, he's a UFC champion. That doesn't happen if you don't believe it can happen, right? He had that crazy self-belief. You listen to Kobe Bryant, you listen to any of his videos, any of his talking videos, any of his podcasts, anything. He has the craziest self-belief, and that is something that I've seen from even people I've been privileged to be able to meet, people my age or even younger, even making more money than me, is that they have crazy self-belief. You have to believe in yourself. You have to be able to go and close your eyes and dream and visualize yourself getting those things that you want, getting those things that you have been visualizing, the positivity. Because if you don't, if you can only visualize failure, there's something wrong. You need to rework your brain. You need to fix something. You need to change your habits or something to make yourself believe in yourself. And another thing that I did back then that helped me get to where I am now is I obviously put in the work as well, but I learned. Because when you are at the place I was, right, rolling burritos at Chipotle, when I was just a freshly graduated dude into Well, compared to now, what are the differences between me now and me then? It's simply knowledge. Like, that's pretty much all it is. Probably a little bit of discipline, probably a little bit of work ethic and connections, but knowledge in education was obviously much, much different back then. Like, I don't know, I didn't know what I do now, right? And so to even get started on this path, you need to be investing time in yourself. You need to be developing yourself by yourself. And taking leaps and taking effort to create a body, a mind, and a whole being that is capable of doing more. And so the ways I was doing this, guys, is I was reading books. I think I started off reading, you know, my first book I ever read was like Rich Dad Poor Dad. That was kind of in this space. And then I was reading, you know, a lot of Napoleon Hill. One of the ones that I really liked was Outwitting the Devil because in that he talks about how drifting is how the devil traps a lot of people into mediocrity. And so I knew that, you know, if I want to change my life, I have to stop drifting. I have to be intentional with my actions and actually choose what I'm doing each day. Not let the day take over me, but let me take over the day. And then I can control my life and control the outcome. And so I understood that. And so I continued to learn. I continued to pick up these pieces of information. And over time, I just became so much more mentally astute, or I don't know if that's the word, mentally prepared for life, it felt like. It felt like when I had a bad day at work, it didn't affect me as much because I knew how to reframe my perspective to make it into something positive, to use it as fuel for something greater and bigger, right? And so education and reading books, and I'm not talking about school, I'm talking about like books, I'm talking about maybe even a mentor or something. Like investing in yourself, investing in your knowledge, in your brain, investing in your body as well, and in your work ethic is also something that it's just gonna build you up and it's gonna help you become the person that you wanna become. And then, And then last but not least, guys, it's simply the work ethic. And obviously you need to have all 3 things in my opinion. You need to have, you need to be investing in yourself, you need to be believing in yourself, and then you also need to be working and building a work ethic that can actually produce great results. Because a lot of people just wanna visualize, a lot of people just wanna make up fairy tales in their head and then not doing anything and expect it to land on their lap. That's not true at all. In the Bible, King Solomon in Proverbs, he talks about this all the time, that if you are diligent with your work, if you work hard, you will bear fruit. But if you don't, if you're a slacker, if you're lazy, you will become poor. That's what it says, and it's so true. I've seen it in my life. The times where I'm on top of things, where I'm having urgency, which is huge, having urgency, and I'm getting back to messages, I'm creating, I'm being intentional, and I'm doing all the right things in terms of my work and what I'm putting out into the world, I get back so much more. And so if you look at it from a broader perspective, if you visualize— and so if you think in your head, if all you can think about is you succeeding, right? When you go to bed at night, you just think about you succeeding. And then you're learning, and so then you're getting better skills, you're getting better at what you're doing, and you're also learning more about just your— how your mind works, how your body works. And you're just learning, and then you're also putting it into work, and you have the work ethic behind it to support that, to actually create the opportunities for yourself, like, you are inevitably going to succeed. Like, if you just do those things, guys, you're going to win. Like, it's— I don't care if you're 16 years old, 14 years old. I don't care if you're broke, if you're in debt. I've been in debt. I don't care. You can make it work if you do those things. And one last thing before the video ends is about work ethic. It comes in waves. It comes— it's something you have to work on. It's like anything. How I did it, I first started in the gym, me building myself in the gym and actually going through that pain, it built my work ethic. And then I started doing it at work, at literally at Chipotle. I started working harder at Chipotle. I started getting the actual feedback and actually getting promoted into different positions. Obviously it's not that far into Chipotle, but still it felt good to be promoted because I'd never been promoted before. And then I started putting that into my side hustle, which is e-commerce dropshipping. That's what I do, right? That's how I make my money. And so I started doing that and it just compounds. And so work ethic compounds. How you do the little things is how you do the big ones, right? If you're slacking on making your bed, if you're slacking on doing these little things, it's going to have an effect on the bigger things, right? And so you need to build habits as well, and that's how you build habits, and building habits is how you can make work ethic just effortless. It's insane. Um, yeah, guys, I'm in my younger 20s. I live an amazing life. I've escaped the matrix, as they say, and To you guys, I just want to be as encouraging as possible and say anybody can do it. The, the knowledge you need, it's out there. You can find it. The knowledge you need is out there. The work ethic is in you. It's in you somewhere. You just have to find it. You have to dedicate yourself to it. You have to obviously grow it. And the opportunities are— they're, they're always coming, bro. Like, there's always opportunities. This world is a constant cycle. The nature of humanity is a constant cycle. There's always new opportunities and then there's ones that are old and the ones that don't come around anymore. And so you need to understand that and understand that there's so much out there. There's so much abundance. There's literally people I know who are in the trenches one day and then the next day they're making $100K, literally hundreds of thousands of dollars a day. It's the most insane thing. And they're not old. They don't have more knowledge than you guys. They don't probably have any more work ethic than you guys. They just believe in themselves. And so if you believe, If you learn and if you work, guys, it's so possible. It's so possible. And that's how I literally was a chud. I was literally someone who couldn't— didn't even kiss a girl in high school, by the way. Never kissed a girl in high school. That's a weird thing to say on camera. Um, literally was a chud, and now I'm building a life I'm proud of. I have a beautiful, very beautiful, loving girlfriend, by the way, who I'm just like over the moon about. And I have an amazing life. God in my center, and everything's going good. Everything's going good. Not to say there's not ups and downs, but life is good, and I'm much more prepared to handle it. So hopefully you guys got something from this video. This was a yap and a half, but I kind of like making these videos. I know my younger self would have loved to see stuff like this, so, uh, I got to give it back to you guys. But yeah, blessings and love you all.
