A speaker reflects on a church sermon about asking God for blessings. He shares personal stories of prayers answered, admits to occasional guilt about his requests, and encourages listeners to ask God for what they want if their motives are sincere and focused on spiritual growth.

So I went to church this morning and basically what the pastor was talking about in his message was how you need to ask. God wants you to ask. Because it's like a show of faith. Like if I. The more I ask God, the more faith I have in him because he has to fulfill these huge things, right? I don't know if you guys see that view, but I've asked for a lot and gotten a lot. And a lot of times I do feel guilty about what I'm asking for or about even asking for more because I am so blessed. But I am doing it for the right reasons. I'm starting to realize that, that my head's in the spot. I have solid intentions behind the things I'm asking for. And as long as those things are true and I'm trying to grow closer to him, it's okay. And it's actually the right thing to do. It's showing that I have faith in God. Like the things I've asked for and that have actually came true are pretty crazy. It's happened multiple, multiple times over, even just these past few years, like life changing things have happened. So basically, don't be afraid to ask God. If you feel something in your heart and you have the right intentions behind something, ask for more.
