All right, all right, all right. So excuse me, chat microphone is here. Now today we're going to be learning about Facebook ad metrics, but in a tier list format. We do it differently, we do it better and we are more entertaining as well. All right, first things we got, we got crucial. Okay? Crucial. It means crucial. Not going to explain it. Good to have means. Good to have. Meh means you don't really need it, but it might be good to have. So yeah, not needed. Why do you have it? And then below this is 0.5 ROAS, which literally means it's hurting you if you have it on your Facebook columns. Okay? So first things first, we got link click. Okay? Link clicks. Why the fuck do you have link clicks on your fucking columns? It's 2025. Literally the first Discord whatever course I bought 50 years ago. I knew that I was not supposed to have this on my Facebook columns. Okay? Doesn't serve a purpose. You don't need to know how many people clicked your ad or click the link on the ad. It's just, it's irrelevant. You can go to your Shopify dashboard and look at it. There's so it's just taking up space. It's making you slower and you being slower is going to make your roas worse. All right, no more explanation needed. Next thing we got budget. Budget is crucial. Alright, this goes without saying. If you don't have budget, like I'm pretty sure they all have budget. But if you ever take it off, like you should actually go get yourself checked out because why would you not want to know how much you're spending on your ads every day? Not gonna say anything else. Ends. What the is ends. I don't know what that means. Like I, I literally was looking at. In preparation for this video, I created a new ad account, looked through it and I saw that this was on there. Ends was on there. And I don't know what it means. And I've spent $1.5 million on Facebook ads last year and I don't know what it means. So it goes in the 0.5 row section. Next thing, click through rate. Now a lot of y' all are going to be like, oh, this is crucial. No, it's not crucial. Okay, it's good to have. That's good to have. All right. Click through rate is not going to make or break you. Technically you don't need to see your click through rate, but it is helpful to, you know, see how good your ads performing. But your click through rate is determined by some Other factors that we'll get into later and some better metrics that I like to focus on. Roas, Good to have. Okay. A lot of y' all gonna be like, this is crucial. No, it's not. Your roas, you shouldn't be focusing on your roas. You shouldn't. You should be focusing on a different metric, which will come later. This video, you know, roas is what they all teach you to like, you know, find your break even. Roas, you need to find your break even. Something else. We'll get into that. It's still a good metric. It's still nice to have. So that's why I put it there. CPM goes into met. Why does it go into met? Because you can't really control it. You can't control your CPMs. It's kind of just a number that Facebook gives you if you start. If you're just starting out, testing a product, your CPMs are going to be very high regardless. And a lot of people are like, oh, my God, my CPMs, I see tons of beginners, tons of noobs. They're like, my CPMs are super high. Like, does that mean I did something wrong? No, that's just Facebook being weird. Like, they just do that. They give you a high CPM when you first start out to really dial in and find that right buyer. And then it will lower, you know, get broader. It'll be better. So if you're focusing on cpm, you should focus on, you know, I don't know, becoming less autistic or something, because that is just ridiculous. Add to cart. If I could put it between these, I would. I'm going to put it in. Good to have. Just because. Add to cart. It is good to have, because you can compare this with your site and make sure that your pixel and Facebook tracking is good, which usually is not. That's why I use, you know, we tracked and shit. But it is good to have, especially for testing. It's nice to have because, you know, a lot of times, day one, you might not get a sale, but if you're going to add to cart, then that's still a decent sign. At least you know that you're doing something great. So. But to focus on add to cart, like, why. Why we're trying to get purchases here and not add to cart. So, okay, checkouts, same thing, same reasoning. You know, checkouts, they're. It's nice to have, just to see, especially if you're starting out and you're just testing, but it's not crucial. Okay, Total spend. It is crucial. It is crucial. It can get depressing once you see you spent over $100 without a sale. It can be a little, you know, a little bad on the ego, but it's something that you do need and it's something that's important to have on your columns. Reach 0.5os if you focus on reach. If you look at the reach column, if you even read those four numbers, three numbers that are going to appear under the reach, you're just not going to make it because it's just. It's pointless. There's nothing valuable comes from reading those numbers. If anything, you lose value. Don't do that. Reach. Only thing you should be reaching for is this. Never mind. Cost per click. Cost per click is also going to go into meh. Okay? People focus on it way too much. People tell me their cost per clicks are very high, but they're not getting conversions. Well, then the ad's not good. Don't focus on cost per click. It's meh. It is helpful in some scenarios, but in some scenarios, a lot of people just, they, you know, focus way too much on it and it's very unnecessary. Hook rate. Hook rate is crucial. Hook rate is S tier, okay? And most of you guys don't have this, which is something that you probably should get. Look up a YouTube video on how to set it up. It's pretty easy. But hook rate is nice. And a lot of times what you'll see is a higher hook rate. Like when you put hook right on and you look through all your ads and you see, oh, this, these ads have a lot like a very high hook rate. Those ads are getting spent. That's how Facebook likes to spend. The higher the hook rate, usually the more spend it gets. I've seen this in my ad account. I've seen other ad accounts in hook rate. It's the beginning of your funnel. You want to track the beginning your funnel, because the beginning of your funnel, how large the beginning of your funnel is determines, has a big, big, big influence on how many people fit at the bottom. So if it's a part of your funnel, you need to focus on it. So hook rate, hold rate is also crucial. Okay? That tells you how many people are actually staying and watching the ad, how many people are actually digesting this ad and are interested in it, looking at it. And it's another huge metric that you should be tracking. And these two will just instantly give you feedback on whether this create is good or not. From a creative standpoint, not From a conversion standpoint, just from a, like, interaction standpoint, if that makes sense. I believe this is impressions we're going to go into. Not needed. You don't need impressions. It's just like reach. Basically the same thing. And it's pretty pointless. Okay, I have realized I've missed a crucial, crucial, crucial column. But next thing we got is feedback score. If you have feedback score on your Facebook account, like, what are you doing, Tommy? No comment right now. If you have, if you have feedback score on your Facebook account right now, you have to comment. You have to comment and you have to like, okay, because that should, that should be a punishment. You should have some sort of punishment for even thinking about or leaving that on your columns because it's pointless. It's ridiculous. I've never seen somebody who actually scaled anything have feedback score on there. Okay, you're right of it. All right, last but not least, we have CPR. Okay? On TikTok, you know this as CPA Facebook, it's CPR that's cost per result. This, this goes ahead, ahead of everything. You know, I haven't really been ranking these things like inside of the little columns or anything, but this is number one. Okay. This is the number one statistic that you can look at in your ad account to determine if this ad is good or not. Okay? You should know what your break even cost per result is, your break even cpa. And then you should know what CPA you're shooting for. And this is the direction, the direct stat that's going to tell you whether an ad is profitable or not. ROAS doesn't do that. You could have a good realize and still being profitable. It's. It is possible because you could just have like a very like high AOV order or something that has like very low margin and it'll have a high roas. But CPA on the other hand, is going to tell you the real, the real sauce. Focus. Focus on cpa. Okay, so this one wasn't as much of a funny tier list, but very good one, very good one. So hopefully this helps and hopefully you guys enjoyed and I'll be making more tier lists like this in the future.
