A DTC founder running nearly $2 million in annual revenue shows the exact team he built: a creative strategist, video editors, media buyer, part-time developers, bookkeeper, customer service head with two agents, an email agency, and a dropship supplier. He argues you don't need a large organization, just specialized roles outsourced where it makes sense.

So I started this E comm brand.
About eight months ago. As you can see, it's almost that 2 million. And I thought it was a good idea to break down exactly my whole team structure.
So all the employees I have and.
The main reason why I wanted to make this video is to show you guys how kind of bare bones it is and that you don't need all these crazy people.
So as you guys can see there 2 million brand. So for my whole creative team, this is what the layout is, right? So I have one, a creative strategist. So this guy goes in, makes the.
Scripts, does all the customer research, he does all that crap. He built up a whole system for me and he delivers the scripts, delivers feedback to the editors to make sure that the editors are doing their jobs well. And then ultimately he just kind of goes back and forth to me about creatives and whatnot.
Then under him I have, right now I have two editors, but I'm working on getting a third. And so these are just regular video editors, you know, specifically for dtc. The next I have a media buyer.
So this guy basically he just kind of uploads ads for me. Uploading ads is like a very grueling and like if you're doing a lot of volume, it takes a lot of time. So it's something that I'm super happy I outsourced. Honestly, I'm very thankful and glad I did it. Like I still manage budgets, I still manage spend and everything like that. But he just uploads things.
Then from there we have a two.
Part time dev, which dev is short for developer. So these guys can work on my sites, they can do custom code, they can change things. Like if I want to test a new offer that I saw on a different E commerce brand, like they can take that exact offer, implement it into my site right away and make it live. They also know how to do AB tests and stuff like that, so they can do that for me.
And then I got the bookkeeper.
Bookkeeper is something I haven't had until a few months ago. And it's very pivotal because a lot of times people just go off of like triple well or what they see on there. But you actually have a lot more expenses than you think. So definitely get a bookkeeper to see how much you're actually making.
And then from there we have a customer service head, CSVA1 and a CSVA2.
Which basically means just three customer service people answering emails. I do have a head and she kind of manages them for me and she's been great. Been working to for her, working with her for a few years and she's been awesome. So any customer, you know, complaints, you know, emails, anything, they manage that.
And then we have the email agency.
Which they just do my email and.
SMS through Klaviyo and that's kind of completely outsourced. And obviously I have my private supplier and everything, but I really count that as an employee and more like working with them. So it's a little different. But since I'm still drop shipping, even though I have that, I have inventory in the usa, I don't have to have like a supply chain rule or anything yet. But if I keep scaling like I have been, I might so hope you guys liked it.
Thanks.
