In this solo, conversational elevator pitch, Nathan Miller draws on three years of dropshipping experience—claiming over seven figures in revenue—to outline both the drawbacks and advantages of the e‑commerce model. He details the cons: the need for tech savviness, the demanding "laptop lifestyle," the challenging "trenches" of early-stage growth, mental strain, and intense competition. He then presents the pros: virtually unlimited scaling potential, equity creation, autonomy, travel freedom, financial leverage, and credit building. Miller emphasizes that many of the cons can be reframed as personal growth opportunities, shaping a resilient, disciplined, and "bullet‑proof" mindset. He shares his own transformation from a Chipotle employee to a global traveler with substantial wealth, network, and the ability to give back generously. The video concludes with advice to treat dropshipping as a full‑time lifestyle rather than a side hustle, arguing that this deeper commitment unlocks mental, spiritual, physical, and financial development.

Okay, so if you clicked on this video, you're probably interested somewhat into making some money doing dropshipping or something like that. So this is basically going to be an elevator pitch on why you should do dropshipping. And I'm talking as someone who's done this the past 3 years of my life. I started, you know, just working at like a Chipotle food service, was doing it on the side, and then now I do it full time. And I've made, you know, over 7 figures in revenue. Um, I live in a crazy place. I bought cars, like, I've traveled the world, and it's been amazing. But there are cons and there are pros. There's good things about it and there's bad things about it. So I want to kind of get into this video and just tell you everything. So why you should do dropshipping. First, we need to understand the cons, right? So here are the cons. One, you're gonna need to be tech savvy. You're gonna need to have a DJEN laptop lifestyle. The trenches are real. There will be ups and downs and it'll be mentally discouraging. People will doubt you and it's very competitive. So looking at all this stuff, there's a lot of negative there, right? And yeah, you do need to be tech savvy. You need to understand how to work a computer. You need to understand how to, like, you can't be an unc, like you can't be a boomer basically when it comes to technology. You need to understand like how to work fast and like the simple things of like how to use a laptop. You need to be familiar with technology. The Degen Laptop Lifestyle. You're going to be spending a lot of time behind a screen. Like, if you think this is something you'd be able to do for 2 hours a day and then F off, that is just not true. The trenches are real, which basically means that when you're starting out, the trenches is what everyone calls is the part where you're trying to make it. You're trenching, right? You're digging. They are real and the trenches are a tough place and not everybody makes it out of the trenches, but there's always opportunity no matter what. There are ups and downs. You are taking a risk and you are essentially creating a business. And when you become an entrepreneur, immediately when you become an entrepreneur, there goes all your security, right? You can have a great day tomorrow and then the next day it's terrible. So you can go profitable one month and then unprofitable the next month, which for some people, they just don't like that. Mentally discouraging, obviously, with Being new at anything and learning anything new, it's going to be very, very difficult. It's going to be hard. There's going to be a huge learning curve and there's going to be periods where you don't understand what you're doing and you don't know where you're going. You don't even understand like if you're heading in the right direction and then people are going to doubt you, family, friends, the people that you thought were your friends. Um, maybe even your girlfriend will doubt you. I've had that happen before. And then also it is very competitive. Dropshipping now, there are tons and tons of people testing multiple products, and usually if you're finding a product, it's hard to find something that no one's running. And so you have to be very skilled. So those are the cons. Well, if you look at the pros, these are why you should do dropshipping, because one, you have unlimited scale, right? You can scale a business from literally zero to $100 million a year doing dropshipping. Um, Gymshark used to do it. A lot of brands that you've seen that are big that actually started with this model to start out, and then they branched into more of a, you know, traditional fulfillment route. A real company is something that you're building, so you're building something that, you know, actually has equity in it. So something you can actually sell if you do it the right way. Um, you are your own boss, so you don't have to listen to anyone. But this is actually a pro and a con because this requires a lot more discipline and you don't have people telling you where to go, what to do. You have to figure it out on your own. So depending on how you are, that could be a good thing or a bad thing. Freedom to travel, that kind of goes without saying. You are the laptop lifestyle. You can go wherever you want in the world and work. I've done this and it's actually pretty awesome. And it's really cool when you're, you know, actually printing and you're traveling. That's like the best. Amex points, you know, obviously traveling, You get to build equity, like I said, and then obviously money and then credit. So the money's good, but you also get to build your credit while it's doing this and credit lines. And so you just have a lot more leverage and a lot more cash flow if you wanted to do something else. But the thing about these pros and the cons, right, which we talked about here, is that you can look at these as different in different ways because all these cons can actually be pros if you frame it right in your mind, right? Like a lot of people, are going to look at that and be kind of like intimidated. They're going to be scared. But what will these things actually make of you if you do them? If you go through and you go through all these things, the self-doubt, the mentally discouraging ups and downs, the trenches, what is it going to make of you, right? It's going to make you into a pretty badass human being. It's going to make you into someone who can accomplish anything. It's going to make you into a, just a much more well-rounded person. It definitely has for me. When I started, I was a gamer, a dude who just was on my laptop, worked at like a pizza place in Chipotle. And then now I've become a guy who is looked at as very successful. But not only that, what it's done to my mental, my mental health has never been better. I'm well more skilled, well more just self-armed and bulletproof, like my mind, my mindset, everything. I feel like a weapon because that's what I've built myself into because I've gone through all these things, right? And so this is what you become on the other side of that. You've become a modern weapon. You become someone who has obsessive work ethic, stoked AF. I'm definitely stoked AF. Like, if you ask anyone that you know, like, I do not react. I don't get this. Something happens, you don't see much emotion out of me, even negative or positive really, because I've just been through so much. You become mentally bulletproof from this. You become skilled. If you are in a competitive environment like dropshipping, it makes you have to develop these skills to stand out and to actually, you know, win. Obviously there's wealth, but wealth is not just the money in your bank account. Wealth is the people you know, it's your network. and doing e-com is a great way to increase that, and it opens a lot of doors. Same with a high leverage person. You understand after running your own business and like actually doing stuff by yourself, you understand what are the levers you need to pull in life to get you ahead. And so it becomes kind of a habit that you let go of these little things that are just like kind of holding you back, like video games or, you know, I don't know, wasting time and stuff like this. So you just become a much more efficient person, more opportunity, more doors open. You have more time to focus on your health and your wellness. Besides, if you're doing like a 9 to 5, like you kind of have to squeeze in the gym after, maybe some days you have to skip. But with e-com, you can actually mold your life around this, which is something I've done. And then obviously my favorite part is the generosity. And I've been able to give back to my family. To other people, to my church, a lot more than I would have been able to if I didn't have taken this leap of faith and actually gotten into e-com. So this is just kind of a, you know, a brief elevator pitch of what e-com is, like what you can achieve with it, who you can become. And it's not just a ways and a means to make money. Like it's much more than that. It's much deeper than that. The people who succeed understand this and the people who succeed treat it as something that's that deep. If you start, if you just treat it like it's some like online hustle, that's all it's always going to be that, right? You're never going to make it out. You're never going to make it full time. But if you treat it as a lifestyle and as a way for you to grow, you know, mentally, spiritually, physically, and then also financially, like it will make you into a different person. In 3 years, you look back, like when I look back at myself, I look at pictures and stuff and like where I was, it's just like completely different. I'm a completely different human being. And so that's what dropshipping has done for me. That's why I think people should do it. If this is something like you just don't vibe with it, that's up to you, bro. I'm not trying to tell you to do something. I'm just trying to show you why I would do it or why I did it, per se. So that's kind of dropshipping in a nutshell. Hope you guys enjoyed the video. Peace.
