In this candid, first‑person video Nathan Miller gives a quick update on his dropshipping store, explains how moments of doubt have consistently preceded his successes, and outlines his current focus on higher‑margin products, better branding, custom content, and deeper customer research. He then shifts to a broader cultural critique, drawing on Napoleon Hill’s Outwitting the Devil to argue that modern education, social media, and consumer‑driven technology turn people into mindless, directionless drifters, which he believes fuels a mental‑health crisis. Miller stresses the importance of intentional daily thinking, clear goals, and protecting one’s aspirations from negative influences, advising viewers to share their dreams only with supportive, like‑minded people. He also shares personal anecdotes about being dismissed for not pursuing college, the value of keeping his plans private while building momentum, and hints at upcoming life changes, including a move and future video content.

What's going on, boys? We're out here going for a nightly walk and I had some shit I want to yap about. So first off, just a quick update with the whole store situation. I'm not quitting on it. You know, I decided like, bro, every single time that I've, like, right before I've seen any success in my life, it's always been right after I've had this big, like, moment of like, doubt and uncertainty and like, those thoughts of, you know, quitting or giving up. And every single time I've succeeded is when I've just pushed through those thoughts and just decided to push through regardless of how I felt. And so that. And you know, also I had a bunch of people reach out to me and like, kind of give me some pointers and like, give me some tips and tell me what they're doing and stuff to like, you know, deal with, like, Facebook just being kind of this month and plus a bunch of you guys just being supportive, like, even commenting and like, you know, showing support and stuff. It really, honestly, it meant the world to me. And it's been good this past week. You know, we've been very profitable. Like, pretty low scale, but, you know, really high margin. Just trying to work through some different payment processors, get some more custom content for the. For the brand. Really focus on building out this the store, making it like, way better, like, more branded, like actual, like, like I said, custom content. And you're really diving into, you know, customer research and stuff like that. You know, we're really taking the shit seriously and really trying to, you know, learn. So I think it's a very good way for me to grow personally. You know, this is how you transition from someone who runs a brand to or from someone who's just a drop shipper to like, a brand owner is actually understanding these things. So it's completely necessary for me to do that. Yeah. And I wanted to kind of talk about something else that. It's this book that I read like last year sometime, and it's called Outwitting the Devil. I've actually made a YouTube video about it on a different channel, but I think it's really important. And you guys know, I think you guys know by now that, you know, I'm a man of God, I am religious. If you're not, you know, I don't judge you or anything, and you can probably find some other way to relate to this. You don't have to say it's the devil. I know it's the devil, but if you don't believe that, that's fine, just say it's, you know, the Matrix or whatever. But basically there has been an overwhelming, like, kind of movement recently in our time and just like, with modern culture and stuff to make us less intuitive, right? Make us less intentional, kind of make us just, what the hell? I just heard some weird shit into these, like, mindless drifters. Like people who don't think for themselves, who don't create anything, who don't, like, they just go with the flow. They just go with the flow and, you know, just kind of live their life without any intention, purpose or direction. And honestly, I believe that's the biggest reason why we've had so many bad, like a bad mental health like outbreak or whatever you want to call it, because people, they've lost purpose, they're directionless. Hopefully I don't get run over. Okay, we're telling. And they just don't know what they're doing. Like, they don't know what they're doing with their life and they're not intentional. And you know, I will say, like, it's a lot harder to lock in nowadays. Like, it's things like we have so much like technology at our fingertips. Like we have AI that can make stuff for us, like on the fly almost. And we have like all these like crazy tools, right, that we can use to like leverage and really get us ahead. But at the same time it's working against us and it's trying to make us distracted. Like social media, obviously there's pros and cons about everything, but we all know the huge con of social media is how distracting it is. Like, and it's, it's clear and evident that they benefit these huge companies and corporations benefit from by us just mindlessly scrolling on these apps, not thinking about it. That's like their whole plan. That's how like, that's how fast food is set up. They just want us to not think, not think about our choices, not think about what we're putting in our bodies, not think about what we're even watching on like reels and stuff. They just want us to force as much content info or like food down our throats as much as possible so they can make money, make money off of us being consumers. And I feel like a lot of people, they know this, but they don't realize how like actually bad it is. It is at a point where like, even our school systems are set up to this way. Our school systems are set up so we don't really create any a New path. We're not, we're not told to be like, people like, have like these huge dreams and aspirations for. We're told they get like a, an average, you know, mediocre job with a like a good salary. Like, dude, like 100k is looked at as like. A lot of people think that if you make 100k a year, you're rich, like, that you're well off and that you're doing well. 100k is not anything. Like, I've realized that recently, like 100k is like, what, around like eight grand a month? Like you, like that is like, to me, like. And I know I can say this because I've, you know, made a lot of money this last year and I've had the privilege to experience that. And like, I'm like, holy cow. I'm like, I can't believe I thought just making 100k a year would like fix everything. Like, it doesn't like it, it makes you like 100k is basically middle class, maybe a little upper middle class, but like, you're not rich. And all these jobs and stuff that they're trying to like force down their throats, these careers that they're trying to force down your throats and college and like, that's the best case scenario for a lot of these careers. And it's just so ridiculous to me. So anyway, this book Outwitting the Devil by Napoleon Hill kind of talks about that. How the school system set up like that to make us into these mindless consumers. How the devil benefits by us being mindless, by us not actually thinking about ourselves, by us wasting time and drifting around. Because the only way you can succeed in this life is if you think, if you intentionally think every day, if you have a direction, have a goal, a clear purpose, these clear thought out things that you know what you want, you know how to. You're gonna have to get it and that, and that makes action so much easier. But most people can't even get that far. Most people, like, I think if I went to my high school right now, my old high school, and I asked most of these kids, hey, what do you actually want to do when you grow up? Like, is it actually like, what's your actual dream? Like, most of these people don't know what they want to do. Most people who go to college, they get these degrees, right, just to get a job. They get the degrees to get a job. And it's not their actual, the actual dream. And it sucks because now like, people are pressured by parents, people Are pressured by, you know, society and peers and stuff. So, like, doing something like kind of what I did, not going to college and just grinding and just trying to make something happen with like online money. Like, that's looked at like you're kind of dumb. Like you're. Oh, you're like you're too hopeful. Like, you know, stuff like that. Like, people kind of look down on it, but the only people who look down on it are all these wages, bro. All these people who don't have the same aspirations, who never had the will and the desire to succeed like we do. And so they're going to look down on you because they can't do it themselves. So as long as you recognize that, it becomes a lot easier. And I've. I face it a lot. Like, I remember personally when I was, you know, working at a pizzeria like last year and like telling people, like, they're like talking like, oh, you're not going to college or anything. I'm like, nah, I'm not. And like, I wouldn't tell them, like, I'm trying to do econ or drop shipping or anything. I was like, no, I'm just working. And like, like, people just are like, oh, this guy's an idiot. Like, this guy, this guy doesn't know what he. Like this guy's just fucking. He's a bum, basically. It's kind of what they're they thinking in their heads, but guys just don't like it. That's one thing. Like, I'm glad I never told anyone my plan. I'm glad I never did that because, like, the whole time I was working these jobs, everything, I was keeping it all to myself basically. And then it makes it so much easier because once like, you actually start to see some success and stuff, like, you're not gonna have these people like, oh, how's that little drop shipping business going? And. And like this, their energy around it's gonna be so, so negative, right? So like, you need to protect that. So if you have these dreams and your aspirations, man, like, if you don't have to share them with everyone, don't do it. Only keep it to people, you know, who are like, who. Real ones. Like people who actually believe that's possible and are going to support you through your journey no matter what. Because other people, they're gonna. Because you haven't had the success yet and you're telling these people, right, they don't believe in you and they are gonna talk, talk badly about it or they're gonna doubt it. And shit. Like it's going to affect you just because you haven't had success yourself. We're back. Oh. So I hope you guys enjoyed. We're back in the crib now. And, yeah, I'm going to make another video soon about kind of my future and stuff. Got a move coming up, so I want to talk to you guys about it, but, yeah, peace out, boys.
