Why I walked out of Harvest Church today… (and what I felt)

In this video, Nathan Miller recounts his experience attending a service at Harvest Church in California, where Greg Laurie was preaching. Miller describes an immediate sense of unease, noting that the worship was good but the sermon turned problematic when Laurie praised the Scofield Reference Bible—a version Miller characterizes as a pro‑Israel, Jewish‑produced propaganda tool. Laurie also displayed a photo with U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, whom Miller links to AIPAC funding, and later images of Laurie shaking hands with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom Miller accuses of committing genocide. Miller further alleges that Laurie (and another individual, Erica Kirk) faces accusations of child sex trafficking in Romania, suggesting these allegations explain Laurie’s pro‑Israel stance. Miller argues that Israel’s actions—spitting on, killing, and denigrating Christians—are fundamentally at odds with Christianity, asserting that supporting Israel contradicts supporting Jesus. He concludes by urging viewers, especially Christians, to investigate the Scofield Bible’s origins, reconsider support for Harvest Church, and reject the pro‑Israel Christian movement.
