In this motivational monologue, the speaker argues that publicly announcing one’s goals is counterproductive and that true success comes from silent, focused action. Drawing from personal experience—working in food service while building a side business—the speaker explains how he kept his venture private until it generated real results, at which point he felt comfortable sharing his achievements. He highlights a biblical principle (Proverbs 14:23) that equates mere talk with poverty, emphasizing that respect and credibility are earned through demonstrable outcomes, not empty promises. The talk also warns that early disclosure invites criticism and negative energy, which can derail progress. The core message is a call to stop “talking” about ambitions, channel that energy into work, and only reveal successes after they are proven.

If you want to actually become rich and change your life or you want to become successful in something, you need to actually stop talking about it. And what I mean by this is, first off, I've done pretty well for myself and I've been that person who's talked more than they've actually done stuff. And I've been that person who actually just put their head down and tried to get results and let the results speak for themselves. And so I know about this and at this point I do well for myself. And I have a lot of people from my past who reach out to me, who message me. And they send me like the same script from everybody. It's so funny. They send me this paragraph, right? And they do, I saw what you did. Super inspirational, bro. Gonna change my life. I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna start doing E comm and yada. I get that message probably once a week. And none of these people have actually followed their end at what they said. And there's a lesson in that, like, talk is so cheap. If you really want someone to respect you or you want to actually take action towards your goals, you shouldn't be talking about it. You shouldn't be the person who. Why is the first thing you're doing is talking about your goals when the first thing you should be doing is actually taking action towards them? If you really want it, you will understand this and this will make sense to you. And I just see this so much. It even talks about this in the Bible, right? So it says, in all toil there is profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. Proverbs 14:23. And it's exactly like that. I understand that the reason why people talk is usually because they have these big goals and aspirations and they want to be recognized that as an ambitious and successful individual. But you haven't done it yet. Do you really expect people to give you that respect and actually believe what you're saying when you're talking about something but have no track record of it? No, nobody's gonna really believe you. No one's gonna like even trust you. There's so many people out there who just talking don't do anything. So to them you're just another one of those people who have these crazy ambitions but are likely not going to succeed. And so the only way to change this is to shut your mouth and actually do the work. And I did this. I was working at food service while I was on my come up and you know, starting my business on the side. And I virtually Told nobody. I was very careful who I told. I may be told some close friends about it, maybe some family members about it. You share little things here and there, but I really didn't start talking about it until I actually got results from it. And then that's when I, you know, quit my job. And then I tell people, all right, did you quit your job? Because I actually started making money from that. And that's a good point to start talking about it because you actually have the actions and you have the proof to back it up. But I just wanted to talk about this because I do see a lot of people out there and I do get messages constantly of people who have these high aspirations. And I understand that you feel the. The need to talk about it and to express this, but really what you should be doing is using that energy and just putting into your work. The less people that know about what you're doing, honestly, the better, because the less people will actually criticize for you, judge you, and put this negative energy towards you that you will feel like I've felt it before. And so if you can keep it a secret and just don't really let people know and just work on it in the background and actually work on it. And if people do catch on to you and see you actually working on it, they will respect you. They're putting a bunch of time into it. At least the real ones will. And when you start getting results, obviously they're going to respect you as well. So I just felt the need to talk about this. Just a quick, short video, but I love you guys and peace out.
