Nicolas Cole, who runs an $8 million writing business, batches a month of content in one seven-hour day. His team books a Scottsdale house with multiple locations, films four long-form videos and about 20 short clips, and uses a Notion document organized by outfit to move seamlessly between wardrobe changes. The shoot starts at 9:30 am, breaks for catered lunch at noon, and wraps around 3 pm when his voice gives out.

I run an $8 million a year writing business and only film content once per month. So here's how we structure our content days. First, a few weeks before, we usually book a space, usually a nice house somewhere here in Scottsdale, Arizona where I live. Then our head of media starts picking locations. So when we book a space, we usually want at least three different places that we can batch film content. Then next I start prepping our shoot doc. So I do all of this in notion and what I found to be really helpful is to organize the content by outfit so that way we can just sit down and crank. And then I change clothes, we swap locations and we do it again. My goal for one of these filming days is usually to record four entire long form YouTube videos, intros to two or three hot seat recordings from inside of our two writing programs. So either premium ghost training academy or digital writing school. And then usually if I can around 20 shorts and 20 if we can do more. That's great. But this is roughly the baseline of what we learned. We can squeeze into a seven hour filming session. So everyone shows up around 8:39am Goal is to start filming by around 9:30. Around noon we break. We usually have a chef come cook lunch for everyone. We also invite any local team members to come by and work out of the house for the day if they want. Because we have this beautiful space at 1pm Time to recaffeinate. We usually order a second round of coffee, change into the second outfit, pick a different location and then keep cranking till around 3 3.30pm Usually by that point my voice is gone and I am completely brain fried. And that's it for the day. It is exhausting, but it is incredibly, incredibly efficient. I can just show up, record a month's worth of content in about seven hours and then not need to think about it again until the next month. And from there our media team takes care of the rest of the.
