Nicolas Cole argues educational email courses work in any industry because every market has people with questions. He illustrates with his own septic system failure after buying his first house, showing how even technical trades like HVAC generate consumer curiosity that an email series can address.

Here is how an educational email course works for everyone. In whatever industry you're in, in whatever niche you're in, do people have questions? If people have zero questions, then you're right, an educational email course doesn't work for that industry. But that's not true. Every single industry has people who have questions in it. HVAC or septic pumping services are a great example. I'll give you one that I lived. I bought this house like a year and a half ago. It was the first house I ever bought. First time going through like a house inspection, that whole thing. We move in and like 4 months later, all of a sudden, we came home one day and there was like sewage water coming up out of every drain in the house. And our septic system, 4 months after we bought the house, there was like a clog in it and it was a disaster. And all of a sudden I'm sitting there and I'm like, "I literally have no idea what to do. I have like 100 questions." And so what do you do? You start poking around on the internet and you're like, "Okay, who's around here? Who can help me? What are things that I need to know? Can I try and do this myself?" These types of questions exist in every single industry. It doesn't matter if it's an AI-first company or it's a, my air conditioner broke.
