I do free work all the time. I have ghostwritten speeches for CEOs for free just because I want to be able to cash in a favor at some point in the future. I have done free work for people I really wanted to work with and was like, "No, no, no, no, no, I want you to understand the level at which I can help you. I'll do it for free so that you get it." I have done free work for companies that I want to invest in. I've done free work for companies that I want to build a partnership with. I still do free work all the time. So, I really want to emphasize for everyone that the whole idea of, "If you want, get your foot in the door, just do a little project for for free, that is not just do that in the beginning when you have very little credibility or experience. That is a tactic that you can use for the rest of your career. And I still do it.
