This is a YouTube video titled "Every ecom store NEEDS to do this" containing a monologue or talk from June 22, 2023, discussing strategies for e-commerce businesses, particularly the value of giving away digital education assets to incentivize referrals and signups instead of physical products. The speaker addresses challenges related to physical goods costs in e-commerce.
This is such a valuable point for people who run physical good businesses or e commerce companies or anything, because the biggest challenge of E commerce is you are dealing with physical goods with real costs. Warehousing them, shipping them, creating them. If you're an E comm company and you hear the idea of you should give something away for free, the first thing you think of is how much that's going to cost you. And there's so much to be learned from digital education businesses in that you should create digital education assets because it's air and you can give those away to incentivize some of the referrals or early signups or other incentives. It's just instead of giving away the physical product, you give away the digital education on the product or on the industry.
