How much should you charge as a ghostwriter? There is absolutely no reason why you can't sell a valuable revenue critical asset like this for five grand. For context, when we built an educational email course for our first writing program, ship 30 for 30, the business literally doubled overnight. Why? Because EECs have higher opt in rates, which means more people on our email list. And EECs also educate prospects. And more educated prospects means people are more likely to buy. Still, no matter how many times we tell new students that they can charge five grand to create this asset for clients, we see a lot of them struggle with this faulty belief and thinking that they can't. So that's what we're here for, right? To help you overcome that faulty belief because it's holding you back. And then for assets on a monthly retainer, like writing a weekly newsletter for a client or creating social content on X or LinkedIn, we encourage students to charge at least least $3,000 per month. Now, again, this might sound like a lot. Most freelance writers on upwork can't fathom charging more than $50 or $100 per hour.
