The Art and Business of Ghostwriting There's a chapter in here, chapter 15, pricing mistakes, where I walk through the five levels of pricing power. So most writers charge per word or per hour. Some even get up to charging per month. You don't want to be in those first three levels. What you want to get to is a point where you're charging per asset or charging per outcome. You want to price anchor to valuable outcome and then reverse engineer what your value is relative to that outcome. If you want to go down the rabbit hole and better understand how to increase your pricing as a writer, really encourage you to give this a read and at a minimum, dive into chapter 15.
