It’s Not About Doing More, Just Doing It Better

A talk on productivity that argues incremental improvements beat doing more. The speaker emphasizes consistent focused work hours and optimizing daily routines to work better, not harder.
I essentially wrote, except for like 30 minutes for lunch. I basically wrote from 8am until 2pm when we just had our last meeting. And then now we're talking. And I do that almost every day. Aside from like meeting heavy things, which means, like, how do you improve from there? The 5% improvement is can you maybe change something about your evening routine to go to bed a little bit earlier so that you start work or start writing at 7:30 in the morning or like at night? It's like, what's a 5% change? Well, maybe instead of scrolling TikTok for 30 minutes, what if I replace, replace that with reading those tiny little things? Like once you have this foundation, it's like those, those are like really the only things to tweak. And then the big thing is like just making sure that for the five hours in the morning that you're working on the right thing. But otherwise, like, it's not some big thing that you have to figure out. It's literally just like, how do you take care of yourself so that you get those five hours every day or so that you're recovered?
