We have a sort of checklist that we run through every time we build prompts. And the big 5 things that we come back to over and over again are clear and objective instructions, specific constraints, formats, and like different frameworks like step-by-step or however you want to organize the information, giving an example of the exact output that you're looking for to help AI build the pattern recognition, and ask it, when you're finished with this task, this is how I want you to present what I'm looking for back to me. And through this lens, you realize that your value as a writer actually is not just your ability to write. Your value is understanding the choices that you make as a writer, understanding why are you asking for what you're asking for.
