This is a YouTube video titled "My advice for building an audience (500k followers)" containing a dialogue between two speakers discussing strategies for building an audience through online writing, emphasizing the importance of consistently delivering valuable content rather than focusing solely on follower count. The content was created in December 2024.
I know this is a huge ask question, but how does one build an audience with online writing? What's the playbook?
The starting point is, if you want to build an audience, don't focus on building an audience. The fallacy that people have is if a gazillion people are following me, then I can do something, and that's really not how it works. How it works is you are consistently delivering something that's valuable to people.
