This is a YouTube video titled "New Job? This Small Detail Says EVERYTHING!" containing a monologue or talk from March 6, 2025, discussing hiring insights and the importance of observing a candidate's work habits, particularly their willingness to work on weekends. The speaker shares advice on evaluating urgency and commitment in new hires.
This is a pro hiring slash. If you take a role. Pro tip for anyone here. I always notice whether or not people work the first weekend. Like, obviously, that's not an expectation. And I. And we aren't. You know, it's like, you have your own life, and we don't expect you to work seven days a week, ten hours a day. I always find it extremely indicative when you hire someone, especially on, like, a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and then they're like, cool, I'll get up and running on Monday. And it's like, sure, no problem. But some part of me is observing the fact that you don't feel a sense of urgency.
