6 to 10 years ago, I had all sorts of journals where I would write down different goals and things I wanted to achieve. And I would put all these expectations on myself like, oh, you have to achieve all these different things. And then when we started Ship 30 and both of those programs and businesses became very successful very quickly, and it was really fascinating to observe in myself how once you start doing one thing that achieves higher and higher levels of success, your desire to pursue all those other things that you thought were priorities falls off a cliff and you realize that those those things were never actually priorities. They were just shiny objects that seemed really novel in the moment. They seemed really exciting to chase, but they were probably distractions from the one thing that you knew you needed to do in order to make progress. And I thought that was such a fascinating realization.
