This is a YouTube video titled "Success = Mastering Your Own Mind" containing a monologue or talk focused on the importance of managing one's own psychology in business success. The speaker discusses how emotional self-management is crucial to avoid poor decisions during challenging times. The content appears to be a single-speaker reflection rather than a conversation.
I think something that really doesn't get talked about enough in the world of business is how much the skill of managing your own psychology is 50% or more of the whole game. Like everyone puts so much emphasis on like the hard skill side. You know, do you know how to build this? Do you know how to code, do you know how to write? Do you know how to like it's always the hard skill but in reality the thing that causes you to make the most mistakes is when you run into a little bit of friction or, or number go down for a month, you know, and you, you don't have the skill or the, or the conscious awareness to manage your own psychology through that that you end up making these emotional short sighted decisions that, you know, it's like you just ruined compounding. You just decided to, you know, you got freaked out and you decided to go do something different.
