This is a YouTube video titled "The Rise of Women in Gaming" containing a monologue or talk by Adam D'Angelo discussing the increasing presence of women in gaming and the potential for female-oriented lit RPGs as a niche market. The content is from January 2025 and focuses on gender trends in gaming demographics.
So one is one of the growing trends in gaming is that more and more women are coming into the category. So it used to be, or at least the perception was like 80, 20, you know, if you heard a girl's voice in like, Call of Duty, oh, you were like in the lobby, like, what's going on? Get out of here. I remember, I remember the days. 14 on the Internet. Yeah. And but now it's like 50, 50. And so if you pair that with the fact that the majority of book readers and book bingers are female, I think having female oriented lit RPGs could be a fascinating subcategory and differentiation.
