I've learned that life moves in seasons. Some seasons are about work. Other seasons are about family and friends or spirituality or travel. And I've learned the worst thing you can do is be in one season of life, but wish for and expect the benefits of a different season. So don't. It doesn't work that way. Whatever season of life you're in, radically accept it. Lean into it. Remind yourself that this season won't last forever. So soak up as much about it as you can. Because once it's over, you will miss the things about that season, things that you're taking for granted or complaining about right now. And I've really learned that whatever thing you're going through, whatever season of life that you're in, the harder it is, the more nostalgia you will have for that season later.
