This is a YouTube video titled "Why going niche beats going broad." It contains a discussion between two speakers about content strategy, focusing on the trade-offs between writing for broad appeal versus niche engagement, and how to interpret data and personal feelings in content creation. The speakers are not identified as Nicolas Cole.
Like, I know every time I write personal development, I'm going to get more views and the comments are going to be like, nice. Good one. This was really helpful. You know, whereas every time I write about ghost writing or how to start a business by writing on the Internet, I'm going to get less views, but I'm going to get way higher quality comments and people asking me questions. And again, you can do both. And so it's you have to, like, learn how to read the data and go, okay, well, this one's getting more attention, but this one's getting me more engagement. You can have both, but which one is connected to your business? Which one is driving the outcome that you want? Yeah.
And I guess, like, almost a third data point is how did you feel writing about those things.
