So many writers fall into this mistake of writing anything for anyone. If you go to someone's Upwork profile, at the bottom, what does it say? It says all the services that that person could help you with. And you click on a writer and there's like 30 different services listed there. They're like, I could help you write ads, but I could also help you with SEO. I could also help you write blog content. I could also help you with newsletters. I could also help you with social content. I could also help you script videos. I could also help you with— the reason people do that is because they have a faulty belief. They think if I provide more services, I will generate more opportunity. And it is actually the complete opposite of that. The more services you say you offer, the less opportunity you're able to tap into. And so what happens is you have no irresistible offer, you have no productized repeatable service, you have no clear list of deliverables, you have nothing that you can specialize in, and you don't even realize the amount of inefficiency that this is causing in your life.
