Nicolas Cole explains why your lead magnet and paid workshop can cover the same topic, but you can't give away the core deliverable. If you're offering an AI prompt for writing mysteries, keep that for the paid product. The free version should tease the topic while the paid version delivers the actual assets people pay for.

Let's say I'm doing a paid workshop on how to write a mystery novel with AI, and then I make my lead magnet, "How to Write a Mystery Novel with AI." There's nothing wrong with it being the same topic. The mistake would be, "And in the lead magnet, I give you my prompt for writing the novel with AI, and then you should also sign up for the paid program where I give you my prompt for writing the novel with AI." Well, then the person's like, "Well, you gave me the object here. Why would I pay for the object over there?" But if it's the same topic or the same education, but the assets are different, like in the EEC, I explain the topic, but I give you the cheat sheet, I give you the prompt, I give you the blueprint, I give you the assets inside of the paid thing. Well, now it's just fine because the person isn't really buying the topic. They're buying the assets about the topic.
