Be the Change Week 3 - Co-Regulation, Relationships and Forgiveness

Niraj Naik from Soma Breath teaches co-regulation and forgiveness through breathwork to manage stress. He explains how dysregulated nervous systems trigger conflict, then guides participants through rhythmic breathing, CO₂ tolerance training, and a forgiveness meditation using visualization and humming.

Welcome everyone to our next edition of Be the Change, week 3. We're going to have a fantastic conversation as we've been talking about all the ways that we can incorporate breathwork and other modalities to support us through what April is, Stress Awareness Month. And the big message that we have is that being aware of stress is not necessarily the problem, but getting the tools to help us handle that stress, being equipped with the right mechanisms to see that we're— our own body is equipped to be able to navigate the difficult times. And we're going to show you these tools. And the focus for this week is going to be around co-regulation and relationships and the power that it holds in helping us navigate stressful situations and be the change for not only ourselves, but for others as well. Now I want to be giving a big welcome to everyone who is tuning in. My name is Jason Mark Campbell. I'll be the host of the event, welcoming our speaker, the founder of Soma Breath, Niraj Naik himself. But before I bring him on, I just want to acknowledge one very exciting milestone for us here at Soma Breath. Uh, for those of you who are tuning in from Instagram, we've just hit the 100,000 followers on Instagram, sharing stories, videos, lessons, and content. All of you who are following that. So for us, this warms our heart. This puts us on the mission of trying to inspire more. And for each and every one of you who are following, a big thank you. Spread the wisdom, help people unlock their inner pharmacy using the breath and so much more. For those of you tuning in on Facebook and on YouTube as well, know that we are a live audience here on Zoom. We've added the link into the chat, so if you want to join the Zoom room, come and join us here. We'll get a chance to interact, and if we have any movements happening, we might get to see to see your face as well. If you prefer to be passive and just watch, that is perfectly fine as well. You're going to learn a ton, and we'll get a chance to all go through this together. Now, if you're tuning in live, we do want to see where you are tuning in from. So let's have a map of the world and have a look at who is here. So take a moment to just share where are you tuning in from, whether that's a city, a country, or whatever else that is. And we're going to populate this map, seeing where people are tuning in from. So our morning warriors coming in from the West Coast, East Coast, Central, in the Americas, North America coming in strong from Florida, California, looks to be like Oregon. We might have some New Yorkers out here. Mexico is popping in as well. Let's move over into the middle of the day here. We have the Europeans, the United Kingdom, we have Iceland coming in, we have South Africa I believe from the bottom there. We also are going to go a little more east here. We have somebody coming in from India, we have someone out in the Philippines. We don't have any Australians, but I would be surprised if we do, or anyone from New Zealand, as those become the very early hours of the day. I believe we have somebody here from the UAE popping in, Indonesia joining as well, and we truly have a global audience joining on these sessions. So for wherever you are tuning in from, know that you are not alone. We got a global community that is all together, and I always love to do a bit of a check-in with everyone who's tuning in. See, every time we do these sessions, we kind of get to monitor where our energy levels are at the beginning of the session might have a chance to see what level that is towards the end of the session. If we can make an impact to your energy levels and increase that in the process, that is the power of the breathwork. And so let's just see where we're tuning in now. So how would you rate how you feel right now from a 1 to 10? For those of you on the streams of the Instagram, you can feel free to comment what your rating is. You won't appear in the, in the chat here on the image. All those on Zoom are going to appear there, but you always get a chance to see who else is tuning in at what energy level. And I would say our baseline is looking above average. See, when we run this poll, it's usually closer to 5.2. A 6.4 makes me think we have a lot of people that are coming in from the previous session, which is actually going to be the next question I want to ask is, who here is new to Soma Breath? You've never done a breathwork session before. And if you've done any before, I'll put you in category 2 as a regular. And if you're an instructor or becoming one, type in 3. So 1, 2, 3 will give us an idea of who's tuning in. And of course, you regulars are here. You've been joining the Be the Change session. This is our third iteration. But if you're just tuning in for the first time, you're not too late. You don't need to know what we covered before, although all those replays are available. But you definitely are going to learn a few new things today, and we're going to have fun doing it. So with that, I don't want to take too much of your time. I wanted to make sure that we know who's here. Over 50% of you are regulars. We got a third or a quarter here in instructors and a quarter of new people. So that gives it a very beautiful balance. We are going to be here to serve you. But as I've mentioned, the man of the hour who has been doing the teachings is none other than Niraj Naik, a man who has went through a journey himself, discovering the power of the breath and has now has been the man creating the content, the material, supporting it with the science. And now with the extension of all of our instructors, with over 4,000 of them around the world, has created a global movement with Soma Breath, bringing a protocol that truly helps us live better lives with the tools. That means no exterior substance, we can do it with the breath. And you're going to learn how we can actually do it together through relationships and co-regulation. Let's give it up for Niraj Naik Naik to take the stage and lead us through the session today. Niraj, the floor is yours. Oh, I don't hear him. Let me see if I have— yep, I'll ask him to unmute and I'll bring him onto the stage. While he's getting prepared, you would have noticed a lot of hearts going on. There is a react button you can play with, and when you use that button, it's going to make all the hearts, the claps, and every other reaction you want appear onto the screen. And with that Niraj Naik Naik, go ahead.
Hello, welcome everyone. Okay, great to see everybody here. Um, lots of familiar faces and some new ones. It looks like we have a lot of new people joining these calls, which is great. So, um, this week is all about relationships and how breath can, you know, make or break a relationship, right? Not just with others, but yourself too. So I'm gonna, um, just give a little bit of a, you know, background, um, but then we're gonna actually do a proper breath session, um, together, all right? So in about 10-15 minutes. So, um, So the, the theme for today is, uh, you know, how do we improve our personal relationships? Okay, and especially like when it comes to our partner, people at work, maybe your colleagues, um, and even your children if you have children, right? So just all forms of kind of bonding and connection. So we're going to look at it, uh, from just the perspective of, uh like biology, physiology, because I really do believe that, uh, you know, the, the problem when we get into conflict situations isn't really a communication issue, okay? Although a lot of relationship coaches will say it's all about how you communicate. No, I think we all communicate very well and nice usually when our state is in the right state, right, when our nervous system is really regulated, most people are, you know, pretty good at communicating what they want. It's when we get dysregulated that we tend to have the, the, the moments where we say things that we absolutely regret, or we, we lash out and, you know, and spit out a load of verbal diarrhea at somebody. Who, um, you know, may have— we made it feel like they've done us wrong, right? So it's usually the nervous system dysregulated states is where like the darkness in us comes out, okay? Who agrees with me there? All right. And who agrees that also that you probably are great at communicating? And you get on well with people when you're in your optimum state, right? It's just when you get triggered and get dysregulated, when you've got something on your mind and your mind's whirling, that's usually when we say the wrong thing, do the wrong thing, reach for the wrong stuff, consume the wrong thing. Yeah, agreed. Okay. So I'm gonna just be a little bit raw now, a little bit real. So, uh, I have been through many different personalities in my life, okay? So the younger Niraj, um, when I was at like school, I was actually the very shy kid in the class for most of school. Um, you know, I had my friends. I was more like what you call an in-betweener. Okay, I was like not cool enough to be with the super cool kids and not sad enough to be with all the, the, the not so cool kids, right? I was kind of in the middle. And, um, but then I was also the skinny brown kid, the smallest one, so I got picked on a lot. Um, so that definitely programmed me to be a bit more resilient. Okay, but It also made me a bit more insecure, a bit more shy. And our personalities are formed in these formative years, right? In fact, they start being formed from the moment you're born. The interaction with your mum, breastfeeding, actually in your womb. Then your emotional world is, uh, kind of formed when your limbic system is formed. So when your limbic system's formed, you, um, create— you have, you have the sense of self now and emotion. Okay, so you'll see like toddlers, like my, my daughter right now is a toddler age. This is when they start to get some kind of agency, and in, in that transition from being completely dependent on the mum to some sense of agency, right, there is a bit of turmoil in their, um, this transition phase. Like, you've probably heard of the, the toddler tantrums, right, the terrible twos and so on. Well, I'm going through that right now, okay. So in the house, it stirs up a lot of emotion, right, in my wife, in me, dealing with a kid who's completely irrational, right? Who actually annoys you more than probably anything has ever annoyed you in your life, okay? But at the same time, you absolutely love this thing like it's a piece of you, okay? So it's a really weird dichotomy. One minute you want to kick them out the window, and next minute you want to hug them and cuddle them, right? So It's a very strange situation, all right, having a child. And this is what happens as we get older. As, as my toddler child grows up, she starts to form then the human side, the neocortex, okay, that allows you to have a sense of awareness of self. Right, so you have your primitive brain, which is completely reactionary. It just reacts to danger, right, and safety. It goes either towards pleasure or away from, um, danger. Okay, fight or flight. Then we have the limbic system that is, uh, emotional. It's— it creates empathy, it creates a sense of significance, status. That I'm bigger than you, I'm better than you, that's mine, that's not yours, what's mine, what's yours. Then the third, uh, is when the human side, um, forms, is now you actually have awareness of that. So you, you start with zero awareness, only the only awareness you have is, is of danger and safety and survival. Then you have awareness of who you are, but this is still— you're like still reactionary. Then you have awareness of self, and that's when you have the ability to program yourself, right, to change yourself. That's the human side. But not everyone has a very well-formed human side of the brain, the neocortex. And a lot of kids, right, especially if they have turmoil, trauma in this time can actually stay in this emotional world, right, where they have no self-control for much longer periods into their life, right? Like beyond even when they're adults, they never grow out of these primary kind of reactionary drives. Okay, so you might see there's certain personalities who are just— have no tolerance. They're, they're angry, they have incredible anger issues, right? Maybe you found some that are just so charismatic and charming and, and amazing and, and so kind and considerate, right? Um, completely opposite. But maybe you found some that like, they always need to prove themselves. That there's this need to be seen, to be proven. They have to be the loudest person in the room, the most obnoxious, loudest person. They have to be the center of attention. Okay. Now these, if you think about this, these personality traits, this is actually toddlers. Toddlers need to be the loudest in the room. They need as much attention as possible. And they, they need to be seen, they need to be heard, and they can't control themselves. They can't calm down. All right, so some adults grow out of that and, and get a sense of awareness of that, but it's still in them. There's still a potential for that to come out because it's still part of who they are, but they have this human brain that can be aware of it and, and transcend it, all right? And it happens like instinctively. Others, and you may know people like this, they don't seem to have that human side to them, right? Now, I actually was that, okay? I was— that's— that describes me in my, like, the teen, teenage years, like from 19 onwards. I actually Ended up running one of the biggest raves in the UK for 3 years, a 2,000-people event, and it was incredible. But imagine being 19 years old, being the, the don. Like, you literally looked like a godfather by a lot of people, because this is a very— music scene is all about egos, and my ego is expanded to the max, right? Like, you can't get more cool than what I was doing. Okay, so I had the most beautiful girl at university, I had, um, money coming in, I had a rave that everyone wanted to be at, you know, I had queues down the road. So I, I was like, became like this crazy obnoxious gangster type character. You won't believe it. If you knew me back then, you would not recognize me. Okay, completely different person. And it's incredible to see how I've changed from that, from this shy Indian kid to becoming like this godfather of a rave scene, to then losing everything. So I self-sabotaged, destroyed the whole thing, right? A few things that happened, and I believe we manifest all of this, like things that happen that would be on my control. Shooting happened at the, and on my event. Bad at the club, that got the club shut down. And now I'm forced to be a pharmacist, right? I'm wearing the coat, complete ego destruction. So now I'm like working in a, in a cubicle dishing up pills, right? And it just destroyed who I am. It destroyed every piece of me. I felt so broken. Right? And then in these broken states and this negative mindset, I actually was horrible to be around. Like, you didn't want to come near me, right? I was an asshole at work. I was horrible. I was, I was just full of negativity. And then I'd go out and get completely wasted on the weekends and lose it. Okay, so now I'm not going to go too long into the journey. I did turn things around, and now I'm the leader of Soma Breath, right? I pioneered this breathwork movement that's so popular in the world today. I feel like a completely different person. Like, the cool thing is, is that there was moments back then where I felt this spiritual side of me still. When I was running the raves, they used to call me "Nijas Religious" because I used to go on about certain, you know, spiritual ideas and beliefs and about music. And, and we were like quite hippie-ish. Our pais were kind of, kind of— we had a hippie mindset. We're all about freedom, anti-establishment, people coming together, celebrating life. So they used to call me Niraj Naik religious for fun, um, because I was always spouting all of this stuff, especially conspiracy theories. A lot of them come true since, by the way. Um, anyway, uh So when I look back, right, at the relationships I had through all these different stages, they were with people who now I would probably have no connection with at all. So, so what I'm trying to get out here is that we are very different throughout our lives, and we will attract, right, people into our lives as relationship partners who match the frequency we're at, our vibe at that time. They say your vibe attracts your tribe, right? So what I've realized is that, that you've got to find your tribe to really, to have healthy relationships. You've got to go on a search to find your tribe. That's, that's if you want perfect harmonious relationships where people feel like family, right? Where you can completely be yourself and be accepted because you're all part of a shared belief system and mission. And that's why religion actually helps. It creates this tight-knit kind of community, you know. You'll see this with the Jewish community, they're very tight-knit. Gujaratis, where I'm from in India, the Hindu community, they're all about family and sticking together. Islam, you know, Muslims are all the same. So now we live in a world where we're nuclear, where a lot of people become atheist. So what people now do is like they end up going to work and they don't speak to anyone at work. They have no friends, they don't know anyone. Like, I don't know if you feel like that. Like, when I was working, um, in the corporations, like, I didn't know anyone. I didn't really talk to anyone. I was just— I was like clock in, clock out. I don't know if you've, you felt like that, but that's what I felt. And so we've got, we've been divided, we've been separated, and we've been, um, put under so much pressure and tension and stress from just surviving and existing that there's no wonder why there's a lot of you know, problems with relationships and connection, and why people are seeking out communities like what we've created here, Soma Breath. Because we've been divided by those people up there. I do believe it. They have an agenda to divide us because it's easier to control people who are divided, right? And what happens there is that then people go into their little cubicles at home watching their echo chamber, um, YouTube channels and Discord channels and so on and so forth. And they get programmed by their own little, maybe digital communities. So then they have formed belief systems that will never ever connect with yours because it's too deeply programmed. So it's hard to have deep relationships these days. With everyone and just easily. It's not easy because unless you find your tribe, unless you find your people, you're going to find it difficult because of the, the level of conditioning people have to always connect.
Okay.
So what I've realized is that primarily, if you want to have healthy relationships, you got to become really discerning, right? So step 1, you've got to have your core beliefs and values clear. Like, who am I? What do I stand for? This is self-inquiring, and I was forced into this exercise because I got sick. I was, um, you know, around a lot of crazy people during my pharmacy days. Even like a lot of my old friends, they heavy drinkers, party like crazy, loads of drugs, and I was a wreck, right, physically.. And I knew that if in order for me to change and be a different person, I had to move out of this into something new. I had to find my real tribe. So I had to let go of some of those friends, right? I had to go into a cave. And that was the best thing that happened. Now, I'm— if you're stuck, if you're having problems feeling isolated, maybe a little bit alien, and look, let me know. Let's get engaged. Like, who feels a little bit alien and finds it difficult to connect with others? Who wants to just admit it right now? Maybe at work, even at home. Probably quite a lot, right? It's probably why you're here right now. In fact, it was joining a community like this in the olden days on Skype. I had Skype back then. Right, in 2010. That was one of the parts of the healing journey that helped me, because I met this amazing kid, Shakti Patzia. He was quite famous on YouTube at the time, and we became friends. And that's how I created my first meditation music channel, was with him. And his tribe, his community, were amazing. I still talk to some of those, right? And that was like in 2012. That lifted me up. It made me feel like, oh my God, I'm not I'm not mad. I'm not alone. There's others like me. So step 1, you've got to find your tribe. Yeah. Got to find that. Step 1. Step 2, core values. Got to write them down. What do you stand for? Actually, what I'm talking about, that's the first step. Core values. What do I believe in? What's my real values? Like, what do I want to see in the world? All right. And, and go deep on this. Like really ask yourself difficult questions. Okay. Like go be honest, raw. Do you really want to be the guy who goes down the pub drinking loads of beer just to fit in with your friends? Do you really want to be that person who sits there playing video games all day long, even though you don't really want to, it's just because you don't know anything else to do. Do you really want to be that person? Are you just doing things because you're conforming to a tribe? Right. And that brings me to FOFO, the fear of feeling out. Okay. The fear of feeling out. So this is the biggest driver of humanity, actually, is the fear of feeling kicked out of the tribe. Because in the olden days, being part of tribe was survival. Okay. If you got kicked out of the tribe, you're dead. And nowadays we have the same Ancestral programming, which actually tells us that we must belong. All right, intuitively we'll, we'll try and belong and fit in and conform because of this primary fear of feeling out, being excluded. Okay, so think of all the things— I want to write all that— you want to write all this out. All the things you do, right, just to fit in, just to belong. Write all that down. Okay. And then you need to think about what is it that you want to call into your life? Like really, what do you want to call in? Describe the kind of people, the relationships, the kind of career, the work you'd rather do. Get clear on all this. Get clear. Ask yourself these questions. This is what we teach in the 21 Day Awakening Journey in depth. We teach you the art of true manifesting, not some hocus pocus bullshit, but real law of attraction, right? Where the keyword is action. We give you the energy to take action. So with this, one of the exercises is to really go deep self-inquiry. Who are you? What do you really want? Right? Who am I? Okay. So once you get clear on this, then what you need to look at, and this is what the topic, and it's going to move us now onto the breath session. What you need to do is learn about the fact that every single person is changing all the time. We're all different. Okay. And what that means is that nothing Okay, because you've been programmed by circumstance, genetics, ancestral DNA, and so on and so forth. Nothing is anyone's fault, actually. Nothing is anyone's fault. But when you wake up, it's your responsibility to do something about your reprogramming once you're aware of it. So all of you are in the process of waking up and becoming aware of your truth. Okay, so once you're aware that we can wake up Then it's your responsibility, but most people haven't. Okay. So what that means is you cannot judge people. All you can be aware of is that you're different from them. That's it. They're not maybe your tribe. So what that means is that you can be mindful. Do I really want to trigger this person and engage in arguments? You're never going to see eye to eye. It just doesn't matter. Like, move on, right? I mean, if you want to try and convince them and blow your head doing it, go for it. Probably won't. The best way is through example, right? Let's say it's somebody in your family and you, um, you, you feel like they just don't get you, all right? And you, you get into arguments, heated debates, and you lose your mind because it's like, they don't get it, they don't get it. Well, the best way to show something to somebody is example, is to change yourself first. Be that change you want to see in the world, right? That's important. And then you got to remember that, look, some people don't even grow out of that toddler phase. A lot of us are still toddlers inside, and we get into a rage, we go crazy, we lose our minds. We lash out, but then actually later on the human side kicks in and then you go, oh no, why did I just do that? Right? Well, most of the people around there who lash out and go crazy and, and maybe throw anger at you also have that process later on. Maybe 5 minutes, just like a baby does, toddler does. They suddenly calm down and they go, oh, wait a minute. That was silly. Why did I do that? Right? So there's often this post-regret that people have, right? After like doing something stupid. Okay. This is like very common. Okay. For us to wake— some people are just too stupid. Somebody mentioned Trump. It's stuck enough. Some people are just too stupid. They're too toddler, right? To even wake up out of that. But most human beings, we come to our senses eventually, right? And that's the moment, that's the time when you can have a rational conversation. Try having a rational conversation with a toddler who's in a crazy rage fit. It just doesn't happen. There's nothing you can do. You cannot do anything about it, okay? That you can't tell them anything. You have to let them create— go crazy, and all you can do is co-regulate. And that's where awareness comes from. If you have self-awareness and you understand everything I'm saying, what you'll realize as an awakened person is that you can observe that they're in a toddler. Okay, you can also observe it in you when it happens, the inner toddler, right? And you could say, okay, it's just this toddler inside that's having a bit of a crazy reaction. So what you do is you just breathe in a rhythm, slowly, coherently, right? Use our Soho Breath app, do like a little breath session, and you will regulate your nervous system. And then through the process of co-regulation, they will feel your vibe, and you watch them calm down much faster than if you are also like Right? So first step, conflict situation, regulate, breath. Second step, patience, because they're toddlers raging. Let the toddler finish the rage, human kicks in, then you can talk. Make sense? Now I've been doing this process with, um, my toddler. Right? And it works, okay? And I've also been doing this with people who I know have a tendency to lose their mind. And I had this issue just now with my mum. My mum has this inner toddler which brings out my inner toddler, and we clash hard. And she's been with me for 4 months, and I lost it a few times, but I quickly turned things around. And what I realized, the golden rule The golden ultimate rule, and that's the session we're about to do now, is because we're all robots and we've all been programmed and nothing's our fault, we must forgive and have compassion, right? But not forget that they're robots, okay? Don't forget they're robots. So you can forgive, but don't forget, because otherwise you'll get into the same patterns again, right? So forgiveness, and that's what it brings me on to now. We're going to do a breath session for forgiveness because this is one of the hardest things to do. When I managed to really fully forgive my mum and realize that she's just a programmed robot machine, right, without human side, um, it just made everything way more easier when I just understood this concept to forgive and let go. And that's what healed me fully in the darkness. 7 days, 7 nights in complete darkness, the darkness retreat, where I healed ulcerative colitis karmically once and for all. That's where the big realization was that forgiveness is so important for transformation and healing. Autoimmune disease is often fear manifested disease. Fear comes from emotions like being angry, resentful, envious, jealous, sad, frustrated, you know, manifest as disease. Because when it gets too big, you start to get scared of everything. You don't trust anything anymore and you lose your connection with the divine, with God, the spirit. Okay. And when that happens, disease often kicks in. That's the spiritual disturbance that leads to autoimmune diseases. That's what I've discovered. But Sooan Breath is the whole process of rewiring our undesired programming, and big part of that is to forgive and let go, but not forget the past that has affected you in the now. Okay, so we're gonna do now a session for forgiveness. Okay, and this, um, is a very powerful session. I just want to check in though, is everyone ready to do this? Because not everyone is willing to do that. I just want to see, is everyone inspired enough to do this? Have I convinced you enough in the power of forgiveness and how important it is? Yes. Okay, then we're gonna do it. Okay, because once you heal these things, PTSD goes away, trauma resolves, everything changes your life, and you start to really manifest. The reason why people— the law of attraction doesn't work, and they forgot this in The Secret, right? They need to make a Secret Part 2 and put me in it, okay? Because I can give you some of the reasons why it doesn't work. Because I did those things and it didn't work, right? And I got into debt and horrible shit. But what really makes The Secret work is clearing the dominant thoughts that hold you back. And those dominant thoughts are the product of— and this is your somatic intelligence— of all these past imprints where you haven't forgiven, you haven't let go, you haven't got compassion, okay? Where you've, you, um, actually don't trust, okay? You're not open anymore, and there's a resilience— uh, sorry, a resistance. That's what causes you to procrastinate, to get paralysis by analysis, to, to just not take action. It's these blocks. But when you free yourself of them, boom, you start to flow like magic. All right, again, that's what 21 Day Awakening Journey is all about. Okay, so let's do it. So, um, look, I'm not going to go too into the instruction. It's very simple. It's guided in the journey itself, okay? You're going to hear the guidance in the journey. You're going to be doing, uh, guided meditation, intention setting meditation, followed by rhythmic breathing to a beat, followed by holding your breath after a full exhale, then after a full inhale, and and then humming. Okay, you can do this sequence during the session a couple of times. All right, so most importantly, you want to be safe. You want to be in a place where you're not going to fall over. You definitely don't do this while you're driving or operating any machinery, okay, or underwater or in water, okay. You're going to do this comfortable. You can do it lying on your back or, uh, sat on your chair right now. Okay, so Angie Bell says she's very scared. What are you scared of? You can do this, and trust me, my stuff actually works. Okay, so, um, so that's why I wanted to ask you the, this question beforehand, like, you know, are you willing to do this? Because this stuff really works, okay? And you won't be the same again after this, I guarantee it. So if you, if you're somebody who's shy of, of being a completely different person after a breath session, then maybe breathwork's not for you. But, you know, our stuff actually creates some pretty profound shifts, and especially this breath therapy techniques, um, they're some of the most powerful of all. That we do. Okay, so we're going to be going for 40 minutes for this— uh, sorry, 30 minutes— and then, um, and then that's it, and we'll carry on. So we'll have a round of discussion afterwards and question and answer. So bear with me while I set this up. Okay, there we go. Sorry about that, needed to be made, uh, co-host. Okay. So, so I invite you, um, to find a comfortable space where you're not going to be disturbed and close your eyes, and let's get ready. To breathe together.
Sit comfortably with your back straight in an upright position, or lie down on your back, the arms by your side, and bring your awareness with your eyes closed to the sound That's right. Coming more and more present with the sound and the sound of my voice. This shall be your guide on this journey into forgiveness, letting go of the attachment to things from the past. The past does not equal the future. You can change in this moment, right now, as you take a deep breath in. Send this energy up, send it up, and draw your breath into every cell of your body by squeezing every muscle in your body and bringing your shoulders up and up tighter towards your ears. Tight, feeling that tension, the heat generating inside, and then releasing.
Ah.
The sigh of good feelings, letting go of tension. Now imagine for a moment that there is a movie playing in your mind's eye, and in this movie, you have the ability to step into a reality of your command. Command your mind to tune in to the reality tunnel of someone you want to forgive. It may be someone else in your life, or it may be you yourself. Know that by letting go of the past, forgiving with compassion, you can free yourself of resistance and tension that may be holding you back from being your truth, your true self connected to a higher power. To step into a reality tunnel of someone you wish to forgive and begin by tuning in to their present self. You may feel uncomfortable at first. Try and step into their situation right now, as though you are living it right now. Notice as you breathe in and out, you will further amplify this vision.
In, 2, 3, 4.
Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In 2, 3, 4, out 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
In 2, 3, 4, out 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
Imagine being them right now as they are in this present moment. How would they feel? What would they be thinking? And what may they be thinking about you? That's right. Just play with this vision in two, because you breathe. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
In, 2, 3, 4.
Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In 2, 3, 4. Out 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. In 2, 3.
What would be their situation? How would it feel? 5, 6, 7, 8. To be in their place right now.
In 2, 3, 4, out 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
And now deep breath in and breathe all the air out. And hold your breath. As you press pause in your breath, press pause on your life for a moment and step deeper into this new New reality tunnel.
That's right.
Nen, take a deep breath in, hold. Release with a tone.
Ah.
That's right. Get ready to breathe together. In, two, out.
Now get ready.
So breathe in a rhythm. In, two, out, two, three. Going deeper into this reality. Out, two. Begin to now pull with your mind. Two, out, two. Into an earlier time in this person's life.
Two, three, four. In. 2, out, 2, 3, 4.
Moment in their life.
2, out, 2, 3, 4.
Which may have shaped their reality.
2, out, 2, 3, 4. In, 2, 3, 4.
That made them choose to do the things that they choose to do.
In, 2, out, 2, 3, 4. 4.
In 2, breathing in love. Out 2, breathing out compassion. In 2, out, filling yourself up.
3, 4.
In the healing light of love.
Out 2, 3, 4. In 2, out 2, 3, 4.
In In, two, out, two, three, four. In, two, out, two. Try and understand the situation out for a moment. Allow your mind to just run free out, two, three, four. In, just breathe through out, two, discomfort or tension in, two, as you release out, two, tension through 4.
In 2, out 2, 3, 4.
We come deeper and deeper into the light of love.
2, 3, 4.
In 2, out 2, 3, 4.
In 2, out 2, 3, 4. Into me.
Now take a deep breath in. Hold. Send this energy up and begin to see, witness the light, the healing light coming through you. As you are in the spiritual force of the person you are forgiving right now. And then release with a hum. Hum. Coming back to normal breathing, tuning this mental movie, your mind's eye, now to the moment where you were hurt by this person you want to forgive. Witness that moment as though it's happening right now, this time stepping into their reality tunnel, understanding the perspective. In, to, as you breathe, for, as, to, in this rhythm.
Inhale.
As you breathe in this rhythm, begin to harmonize to the frequency of balance, reason, understanding, foundation, compassion.
2, 3, 4, out. 2, 3, 4, in. 2, 3, 4, out. 2, 3, 4, in.
2, begin to see from their perspective.
3, 4, in.
2, 3, Tune into it as though it's happening right now.
In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4.
In, breathing in love. Out, breathing out understanding, compassion.
In, 2, 3, 4. Out, 2, 3, 4. 2, 3, 4.
In washing away the pain, no more tension shall remain.
3, 4. In 2, 3, 4. Out 2, 3, 4. In 2, 3, 4. Out 2, 3, 4. In 2, 3, 4. Out to receive in, to let being come alive for us to be with love.
As you breathe in, breathe in the love and hold it in and feel the being of the person you want to forgive. With your love, your understanding, compassion, forgiveness. Hold it and feel this white light move through you, into you, around you, transmitter the frequency of truth.
Love. That's right.
And then release with a hum.
Hum. And hum.
Hum. Vibrate with a frequency of love as it arrives. And keep humming.
Om. Yes.
Feel the energy. Feel the spirit inside. And now bring your arms around the person you wish to forgive and breathe together. In, to, out, to. That's right. Imagine you are both breathing the same rhythm of compassion and understanding. 2, in, 2, ah, turning go the tone in, 2, ah, to tone of good feelings, 2, ah, that's right, from the hearts, ah, breathing out into the heart, the sigh of good feelings, in, 2, ah, 2 In, to, out, to, in, to, out, to, in, to. And as I repeat these words, to, in, to, prayer of forgiveness, to, in, see, to, out, face the person you want to forgive, to, change, to, in, to, face of To joy, to love, to peace in the heart. In, to, out, to, in, to, out, to, in, to, out, to, in, to, out, to, in, to, out, to, in.
2, ah, 2, in, 2, ah, 2, in, 2, ah, 2, in, 2, ah, 2.

To I love you. To that's why you can see the face change to into big beanie smile. That's right. To see, witness, to radiance, to pure love, to letting go. That's right. Let it go. Let it all go. Call in the love, call in the light of your higher power. I fill your entire being with the love from above. That's right. To I'm sorry to please forgive me—
thank you!
To love ya' too—I am sorry to please forgive me—to thank you! To I love y'all too-I'm so pleased for giving it to—you-to I love my two sons here To feel that joy in your heart, to feel that energy moving to, through you, ah, and into you, around you, in, to the healing light of love, in, to, ah, to bring peace into your heart and take a deep breath in. That's right. Hold in that love. And become one. And breathe all the air out and hold your breath.
That's right.
Enter into a state Pure relaxation. Command your mind to become completely still, allowing the thought files to reassemble, clearing the clutter, the unconscious mind, realigning the warehouse new thoughts, ideas, dreams, and visions. To let go of the past, call in the new, invoking the strength of your higher power. And then take a deep breath all the way in. Send the energy up and up and up and up. The spiral of electric light all the way up. Become one with the source of all that is. And then release with the tone hum. And hum, hum.
Hum. Hum.
Evaporate tension. Release, release, let it go. Now rubbing both your hands together fast, creating a friction. That's right. Rub, rub, rub. Generate that heat. Feel the energy.
That's right.
And then gently pull apart palms of your hands. Notice the energy between each of your palms. Start to gradually move palms apart, noticing that you have a ball of energy in front of you. And see this energy and witness a moment of pure joy and happiness as you have let go of the old to invite in the new. And take this energy, and when you have got it all, and you know you've got it, And only you know when you've got all this energy, life force, and that feeling and vision clear and bright. Slam this energy into your heart and take a deep breath in and release. Ah. And let go of the tension. Feel the relaxation. Know that as you leave this experience today, you shall do so. A new sense, positive energy connected to a light of a higher power. Trust in this guidance. Much love, positive energy for your day ahead. Peace.
Okay, so slowly coming back around into the present moment. That's right, taking your time. To come back into the space.
That's right.
All right, already seeing some feedback coming in. Well, it looks like someone got their money's worth. Thank you for the 50% off. I only wish I'd joined years ago. Right. Thank you. Feel self-forgiveness deeply. Some 11:11s coming in. Deeply impressed. I cried a lot. That's, that's very normal. It was very normal. So beautiful. Meant so much. Wow. Had major forgiveness to give myself. All tears. Hard to do so. It is indeed. Thank you for the appreciation. Appreciate it. All right, so this is very powerful, this experience. A lot can come up. Okay, so If anyone wants to talk about it, the experience, feel free, and we can have a little bit of a to and fro on that. Chelsea, all right, welcome.
Just need to unmute yourself. Hello, can you hear me now? Can you hear me? Thank you very much. That's the first time I've ever done that. I have emphysema, so I struggled a bit with the breathing in and holding, but it reminded me of raving in the old days. Yes. And that feeling of euphoria.
Wow.
And also, I really enjoyed that. Really, thank you so much. And I definitely want to do this again. And it's definitely a way of touching into the body and learning to breathe safely again.
So thank you so much. Beautiful. Thank you so much from a fellow old raver.
God, it really, really brought back so many euphoric feelings. Thank you so much.
Thank The only people who were there can understand. Yeah, thank you so much. Nice one, Chelsea. All right, we have, um, Alfruz.
Thank you. Hi everyone, from another fellow raver, ex-raver. Yeah, you know, I can tell the science behind this is impeccable. It comes from so many places. I could tell because the energy between my hands was electric. And it was at a certain point I lost control. It was just growing by itself. You know, energy is real. And this thing works. There's a lot of science behind it. I can see that. Thank you. Really wonderful. What a privilege.
Seriously, what a privilege. Thank you. Wow. Thank you. Amazing. Beautiful feedback. I think I should do more of this forgiveness sessions. We should do the forgiveness sessions. Nice. Marie or Mary. Once a raver, always a raver. Yeah, this is the old ravers.
Hi, can you hear me? Yeah. Hi, how are you doing? So nice to meet you. I really thoroughly enjoy what you're doing. I'm also an old raver. Um, I also worked and lived in Ibiza in the 1995s and partied hard, and I can relate to, uh, everything you do. It's so inspiring. I love it. And, um, you know, I'm also going through my parents and my family with their tantrums, their toddler tantrums that they seem to still have in my older life. And, uh, so I'm trying to learn not to become one, a toddler tantrum in my older life. So this is perfect. And, you know, now I live in New York and still dealing with the toddler tantrums, but this really helps me to focus and try to teach myself and my family to do better. So I really appreciate everything you do. Beautiful. Thank you so much.
Appreciate it. Yes. So good. Yeah. The number one is to take care of ourselves first and learn to regulate the nervous system. So on the app, we have quite a few different types of sessions. We have the Heart Coherence Trainer, we have all the rhythmic breathing tracks, and, and then there's also a course, the Breathworks Challenge. If you do that, it will teach you exactly how to regulate nervous system and to get super resilient, right? What you want to do— this is the secret, this is a secret to how yogic practices work. It's also to do with CO2, carbon dioxide. So carbon dioxide naturally relaxes us. Okay. It's what calms the mind. Okay. That's why people calm down when they breathe in through a paper bag when having a panic attack. So here's the thing. When you control the breath and you optimize your CO2 tolerance, which means you can handle more CO2 in the body, so you're not like constantly needing to breathe, because CO2 levels is what tells your brain you need to breathe, inhale, it tells you, you need to inhale. If you can hack that, make it so that it takes a longer time for it to register that you need to inhale, you will be able to have more CO2. So that actually means you naturally feel more blissed out as a default. And that is the secret of yoga. So yogic practices, if you look at every technique and pranayama, is designed to hack your CO2 levels and your tolerance to CO2. And then you kind of— so in, in yoga, it's foolish to control the mind through the mind, okay? That's why I like things like hypnotherapy, right, and stuff. It's okay, it's not the most effective, okay? Um, what's more effective is the soma, bringing the body in, because through the body you can change states. And you'll see the best hypnotherapists, they use the body first. They, they do some kind of technique with the breath or something to, to change the CO2 balance, which calms people down and makes them rest. So, so this is what we can do ourselves, is with yoga we can control the mind through the body by changing our chemistry first. And then you can be less triggered, you're more calm, you're more patient, you have more tolerance. You get naturally high. There's a secret to getting naturally high, and it's like a little bit stoned actually, but all the time. But in a good way, without the crash. And you have more energy and more oxygen because you need the CO2 to absorb the oxygen into the body tissue cells. Otherwise, it stays on your red blood cells. People who hyperventilate because they're stressed, they have too much oxygen, not enough CO2. All right, so that means when we slow the breath down, when we use these breathing techniques, holding the breath, okay, we actually reset CO2 levels. Because for most people, because of stress and panic and anxiety, the CO2 tolerance has been destroyed, like it's been reduced. So that means people are inhaling much quicker than they need to. But then when you hack it, you become calm. So the whole process of Sola Breath is to hack that CO2 balance. It takes time, it's a progression. And we have 21 Day Awakened Journey is one of the ways. We also have BreathFit. BreathFit is our flagship course, completely designed to teach you like, you know, reduced breathing techniques to improve your CO2 tolerance. This is our duty now, as we've woken up now. Now everyone who's been on this call has woken up, right? They're aware they need to forgive, they need to let go. They need to change. They're the ones who need to change, all right? The problem when you have like a— actually, when you, you feel like somebody needs to do something that you want them to do, they're actually the person with the problem, is you, not them, okay? Because like you're the one who's wanting them to be a certain way. So this is where a lot of conflicts happen as well, is when we have expectations of people and we want them to do a certain thing But ultimately, that's our problem. So either we've got to become tolerant, right, of that— the fact that they're never going to do exactly what you want, right? And, and they'll only do what you want if they respect you enough to want to do what you want, right? So for that, you need to develop the trust, respect, rapport. Rapport is everything, all right? So You know, like, if you don't have rapport with a toddler, forget it. You can't connect with a toddler. You have to build the rapport first. If they don't trust you, they judge you straight away because they're completely in reptilian, uh, limbic brain. They don't have the human side yet, so they just judge you instantly, all right? So if there's no rapport built, they're just gonna not connect, okay? And the same thing goes for humans as they get older. Some of people, some humans fake it. So they're all like, oh yeah, yeah, they, they pretend that they like you and then talk shit behind your back. This is also human nature to do that, right? Um, but if you create real rapport with someone, they feel it on a soul level, and then you, you have a better relationship. So rapport-building skills is something people need to learn as well. So like, you know, If you come in like, 'Rah!' screaming at someone when they're very timid kind of personalities, that doesn't build rapport. If you— rapport building is actually breath-based too. So the way you breathe, and this is all to do with co-regulation, when you breathe right, when you control the breath, you watch how it changes someone else's breath. So when I'm with my daughter Okay, so putting her to sleep. So she's, she's like, you know, we take turns putting her to bed. Now she's a very light sleeper, very restless, like high energy, very creative, like very intelligent. So her mind's like full power. But when it comes to sleep time, what I do is I do Ujjayi breath. This is one of the fastest ways to regulate your nervous system. Okay, so what you do is you constrict your throat and you breathe in through your nose, making like a Darth Vader sound. Now if you can just do that, right, just for a few minutes, it'll regulate your nervous system. And then when your breathing just becomes naturally calm because of that, the rapport you build with people's— you're— they'll be much more calm if you're calm. And that's the fastest way to become calm. And you'll see their breath also will calm and match your rate. This is the weird thing of co-regulation, how our breathing can influence and make others match and model your breathing. It's very, very clear with mums and children. They, they co-regulate very quickly. All right, so, um, so yeah, these are just little tools and tips. We have many of them on our app.. We have all these breath sessions, ways to prepare, but the Breath of Life, uh, sorry, Breath of Life course is really powerful for the members on the, on the app. That will train you for extreme CO2 tolerance, okay, like yogic levels, where in 6 months you'll be doing 1 to 2 breaths per minute, right, breathing rates. And that's when you feel this euphoric feeling that is just beyond belief. So imagine breathing 1 to 2 breaths per minute for like 5 minutes or 10 minutes. It's possible. You'll be doing that if you do the Breath of Life Challenge. You train to do it. Takes about 6 months to really get that good. To be honest, like, I struggle with the last few weeks. It's very hard to do those 1 breath per minute, but I'm usually on the last couple of weeks level threshold. I know some people in our community who've gone beyond and are doing 1 breath per minute, which is phenomenal. That's so cool. I love the fact that they're doing that. So, um, you can all, you can all do it. You can all have a go. It takes about 6 months. So these are all the things, all the goodies we have on our app. Um, and I've created a whole new app. Okay, actually, I, I went really deep last few weeks um, where I realized, you know, because I used to keep getting frustrated with our app team and developers and things taking too long and frustrating my own team and everything. And this was one of the things that was driving me nuts and affecting relationships, was our Soho Breath app. So I realized, you know what, it's not their problem, it's actually my problem. So now that technology exists, I was like, well, I'm going to build the app myself, I'm going to figure out. So the last month, that's what I did, and I got quoted about $300,000 to produce this app by dev teams. I managed to do it myself, right, with the tools that are available today, and I just went and learned it, how to do it, all right? And everyone can do anything they want, all right? You can learn to do anything you want. There's YouTube University, there's so many different ways to educate yourself, and that same goes for relationships. There's loads of amazing relationship coaches way better than me you can go and find as well. Loads of amazing inspiring influencers in this space. Study, study. If you want to be great at relationships, study other people. If you want to get great at using the breath to control your nervous system and do crazy magic like I have, check out Soma Breath. All right, so now that you've woken up, right, the first stage is forgiveness. Letting go. Now that you've all worked out, it's your duty, your responsibility to keep doing the work. All right, this is it. And we make it— we try and make it, the work, as fun and effective as possible, even addictive, let's say, in Soho Breath. So it becomes play, breath play. Okay, now if you want to look up breath play and find out what that actually means you'll be pleasantly surprised. But we have our own version of breath play, okay, that's a bit more, um, PC, right? And, um, it's also a way for you to increase your connection and relationships, um, in a non-weird way, as what breath play is actually defined as if you look it up. If somebody wants to look it up then it'll give a little bit of an ending to the punchline to my joke. But breath play is what we're doing here. And actually, having— doing this with partners, doing it with groups, doing it together, breathing together, is the secret to co-regulation together, to connecting with each other. All right, do all this stuff. So in this spiritual, you know, woo-woo hippies from the '60s, we— they used to all do it. I I'm a bit young for that, but they would all do it. And before that, all the religions of the world would do it. The Essenes, the Sufis, the Hindus, they're all doing it, right? Brought people together, breathing together. Now I feel like Solar Breath is the new kind of frontier of like the non-religion religion. Okay, in a way we are kind of like that because we have practices and rituals. But there's no guru in Soman Breath. You are the guru. You discover your own guru. And it's community-based, it's decentralized, community-based, where you're all free to create your own tribes and, and communities. And this new app that I've formed is all about that. It's helping you create meetup groups, tribes, communities, and do breath togethers all over the world. That's the secret. Okay, so So with that said, it's been a pleasure. I think we got Duarte wants to share some things. We'll just have a little final feedback and then I think we've left a lot of value. There we go. Yes. Unmute yourself.
Hello. Hello. Okay. Now it's on. Yeah. Okay. Hi, Niraj. I just wanted to say, because I wasn't a hard raver because I shared once here, but I had always contact with meditation and yoga since I was almost born. So I had some notions, but I liked to party a lot. So it was— I knew the effects, the bad effects of it, but I liked it. So I always stayed a little bit in between. But there was a moment that I stopped. It wasn't because of the partying or anything. It was much later in my life that I stopped the meditation and all the things I shared this before also again. And I just, the, the, what I wanted to share at the end, it's this session. It was really cool for me because I saw the progression from the first session to the second, to the third. At the last one, I was able to hold the breath, the, when we, we exhale to, to sustain much The whole time. The other two, I had to have those sips in between because, uh, I haven't been practicing that much. And I wanted to ask one thing, that 21 days, I know there is in the app and we can apply there, but is there anything that it's done in person for those 21 days change? Is there a course, something that it's done with, with a facilitator live? In, in a, in a live space.
Uh, you mean, um, an in-person, like a retreat? Yes, kind of. The 20— oh, so then the, uh, the Awakening Retreat in Austria. Ah, it's 21 days? No, no, it's 4 days in Austria and we go super deep. You mean 21 days live experience? Yes, yes, in person for the for the—
to be an instructor, you know. But because I'm the kind of person, I, I, I, I like technology and all those things, but I don't know why, I'm too old-fashioned. I, I, I, you know, I've been into— since I've discovered this breathwork thing that is going everywhere, and it's helping me a lot to, to— because the, the raving on me, it was the opposite. It was something— as I was into meditation and yoga and nobody was I was trying to fit in, you know, and trying to do the same as everyone else. And I went there and I didn't— I felt good, of course, but then I didn't feel so good with myself. And then I was always struggling. And nowadays every of these things are more accepted. And thank you for your work here in Seoul because it's wonderful.
But do you mean like online live, as in like this?
No, no, no. In person. In person. In person. No, but we do retreats.
We do teacher training retreats. We do teacher training retreats for the instructor training that will get you to become an instructor. So we have one in Barcelona coming up. Where you based? Portugal or something?
Okay, no, I'm in Belgium at the moment.
Belgium. So Barcelona, super close. Okay. And it's—
but what I've seen, they're always shorter.
Yeah, we do one. Okay, we do the longer ones in like the places like Ibiza and Bali. Okay, I'll Google.
In the site there's all that information, no?
Yeah, I'll find it. For what you're looking for, as far as in person for 21 days in a row, it doesn't exist. But what happens is in person you don't need the 21 days. So the 7-day event that we have, for example, in Bali is a transformational event, and then the awakening retreat with Niraj Naik in Austria, which is also another 5 days allows you to go much deeper. And if you're combining it with your Advanced Instructor journey, it does get to be something closer to 10 days. So we could jump into conversation with you and show you where all these available events are.
Okay, maybe at the end I can try to—
I'll send you a message with the link to discover more and book.
Okay, okay, thank you, and thank you so much. Thank you. And for this session. Great.
Yes, great to chat to you. Brilliant. Okay, um, I think that's it. I think we've, we've come towards the end of this call. I think it's been a pleasure talking to you all and, um, and sharing. And we've still got one more week left, so, um, that's it from me. Now Jason will share with you, um, you know, any insights if any of you want to be instructors or deeper with our stuff. Jason will be there to carry on the space, and I've got to get back to my toddler. So much love, everyone.
Much love, Niraj Naik. Thank you for the beautiful session. And guys, this is the time you can use those react buttons to share your love with Niraj Naik. And for those who are joining next week, we'll be starting at the same time, and the topics for next week will be From Surviving to Thriving: Building Stress Resilience. So continuing on the Be the Change theme of our Stress Awareness Month, This will be the final session of the series. We hope you guys are enjoying it so far. We're definitely having a great time getting to interact with each and every one of you. And as you've seen in the chat right now, we are running an incredible promotion. Now, Duarte, I know, is looking to hang out for 21 days in a row, but if you want to be able to do daily practices and join once a week for 2-hour calls, we do have the 21-Day Awakening Journey, which is happening right now. It is 60% off. This is the signature program Niraj was sharing. Where you get to go deep into these methods, build a practice, increase your breath retention time, and truly transform. Cambridge University has studied this protocol, and the reasons is because the healing effects that come from it have been so incredible. They want to understand how does this breath protocol get to achieve that. So if you're looking for a transformational experience, 21 Days is what it takes. They happen on Zoom, they're extremely interactive, and Right now, if you do decide to join, I want to show the sale right now where you can join either in a self-paced way. If you don't want to, if you don't want to join any of the live sessions, you can get started for $159. This is again 60% off from the regular price. Then at $199, this is the live group experience. I highly recommend you to do the live group experience. The reason is that for just an extra $40, you get mentors and you get to do it in a group and we all get to connect And there are some various times that are available. So if you're curious about joining, you'll be able to get there for $199 for a full guided experience, which is absolutely incredible. And for those of you who know you're going to be going through this more than once, and we know we have plenty of you out there, you can get an unlimited access to live sessions in the future for $497. With that, anytime you want to go through another 21-day protocol, hop into a class, get a chance to interact and get some breathwork in this group, you'll be able to do so. If you want to join that, you can do it for $497. Link is being posted in the chat right now, and we'd love to see you all get, uh, come and join and transform through our 21-Day Awakening. And so with that being said, this is the end of the core session. What I will do is, for some of you, is there anybody here who's interested in becoming a Soma Breath instructor? Facilitator or transformational coach? If so, just type in me in the chat. And what I'm going to invite for anybody who wants to become an instructor, stick back a little more. I'll share a little more details about what that looks like as a path, what it could look like for you if you make a switch in your career or look to expand your holistic practice by doing so. And we'll share a few more details around that. Duarte, I do see your message, so I'm going to just do a quick close-off for everybody saying Thank you for joining. We'll see you next week. For those of you who are joining the 21 Day Awakening program, you can do so right now as the sale is on and join the next group happening next week. And with that being said, for those who are interested in becoming instructors, stay back. I'm going to show you all a very exciting way that you can get started and answer a few questions in the process. So big thank you. And with that, let's jump into the instructor program. So first thing, uh, Duarte, I do see your message and I wanted to send you a link specific to what's happening in Austria because you can combine two of the retreats for— oops, let me just pull it up right now. And I want to give you a chance to look at the both retreats because one of them is an awakening experience with Niraj Naik, and after that is learning advanced techniques related to those who are passing their certification levels. Um, so Duarte, are you an instructor right now, or are you just discovering Soma Breath?
Hi, sorry, no, I'm not an instructor, but I, I done other, uh, meditations and a lot of things, but never as an instructor. All right, I like to, yeah, to, to get it better, you know. All the thing to, to then—
I, um, what I've done is I've shared with you a link. This is to book a call with our team. Use that link and explain whoever you speak to, just explain their situation. They're going to be there to provide clarity. What makes most sense for you? What are the available events? You're either going to speak with me or somebody on my team, and they're all wonderful individuals. They'll hold you by the hand and see, is there anything in person that could fit what you're looking for? But If I think about the longest live experience for total transformation, $6,000, you're doing an awakening experience plus a deep training on getting certified while experiencing the most advanced technique. So you get to have it experienced on you and then see behind the scenes how to deliver the same to others would be the most powerful thing you could do. Because if you want to learn something, learn to teach it, you learn it twice.
Yeah. So that's the Austria thing?
Yeah, it is. But I— what I just said, like, we have links in the chat for all the specific events that I sent to you on the chat is to directly book a call with our team to discuss live events. And so they'll— we'll get a chance to walk you through the options and answer that. So, okay, I see some people are messaging me about the recording. You know what the fact is, is that we just tried a new technology to stream it across all platforms. It crashed. I'm on the chat with customer support, so there was no live stream. What I will say is that there is a recording. We'll make sure to upload it, send it to everybody so you all get to experience the replay of that beautiful session. And, um, yes, uh, Tanya is asking about the 21-Day Awakening. For $199, you get the replays for the specific sessions you registered for. So if you sign up to next week's sessions, you go through all those sessions, you'll get a replay of those specific ones. On the Unlimited, you get access to the replays of everything that you want to attend, any session in the future. Truly making sure that you don't miss out on anything. Okay, what I'll do is share a little bit more. Matter of fact, I put together a, a cool tool so I could be out here answering your questions around the instructor program. So let me share a bit of what this looks like. So if you are planning to become— you should be able to see my screen right now— if you are looking to become a somabreath instructor There's a ton of things you can explore within the program. There's 3 major levels that people consider. One is a foundational instructor program, which takes about 45 hours to complete. Then we have both combining this as level 1 plus the level 2, which makes you an advanced instructor, will take you around 95 hours. And our transformational coach module will take you probably up to 130 hours to complete. And what it does is at the beginning, learning the foundations on how to lead a breathwork session. How to facilitate a class, bring people together so you can be someone who guides breath journeys. You learn all of that when you learn the foundations as an instructor. If you want to go beyond that and really take people through deep transformations, very similar to the sessions you've experienced today with Niraj Naik Naik, advanced instructor training really goes deeper into making you trauma-informed and take people on very long and deep journeys in the process. So if some of you want to bring certification in place that you can take people through deep transformation, you need to go at an advanced instructor level. And then for those who are building an entire holistic practice that goes beyond the breath, we have a transformational coach option that allows you to learn so many modalities that help you integrate not just the breathwork, but truly helping people shape their lives into something that is recreated for the best. You know, we talk about all the different methodologies because one thing at Soma Breath you have to keep in mind is we don't just teach you one technique. We teach you the whole science behind breathwork and all the different ways you can apply the techniques for the results you're trying to bring for the people that you are working with, whether that's in a group format or at the transformational coach level, also in a one-on-one fashion. So you get exposed to every types of breath with the science behind it, so you truly are an expert on the breath. Um, we do have this retreat happening in Bali I was sharing earlier, so for those who want to go on full immersions, we do have live events and the signature one, which is for 7 days that you not only get certified but also go through an incredible facilitated experience. There's— is happening in November. We actually have one happening right now, but you can't sign up to this one anymore. The next one will be November 1st to 7th. So there's some details you can find out about that. If you're looking to learn about the foundational instructor program, it's $2,000. The Advanced Instructor Program is $4,499, and the Transformational Coach is at $6,499. So we do have payment plans available. There's a lot of flexibility you can use with these plans. So with that, you get to choose which one makes the most sense for you based on where you are financially and the goals that you have as you join in as the instructor. If you've never experienced a journey around understanding a purpose, seeing where you want to take this journey as an instructor, there is a beautiful meditation that we share for people who are going on the path of becoming an instructor to actually visualize yourself. What does it look like making a career change? What does it look like actually stepping into your purpose? And this allows you to see if becoming an instructor is a right fit. So the moment you apply to become an instructor, you'll get access to this track and we'll send that over to you. And a very powerful thing you might want to look into, which, um, I'll bring it up here in a minute, is if you are looking to become an instructor, you also want to look at, well, how does that make sense financially? So I'll cover that in a minute, but first know that if you want to get the details around, you know, what exactly is included in the program, how do you navigate this journey, we have an entire syllabus that will be made available for you so you can see how you start with facilitation, you learn how to instruct and lead a breathwork class, you learn the advanced, uh, advanced trainings to take people deeper and really be here to navigate people that go through any kind of deep awakening and how to navigate that. You learn a lot of coaching modalities as well as how to facilitate a 21-day awakening journey yourself. And then we have an honorary mention for those who put in the work and also get a chance to become Master Transformational Coach. So that's very much the journey that you can go to and pick which part makes most sense for you. So we break this all down. You get mentored through every step. There's a lot that goes in play to make sure that you're handheld and taken through an incredible experience in the process. So let me take us back to— where was I? There we go. Now, For those of you who are looking to do this as a career change, one thing you have to look at when you look at these programs is what does it look like from an income perspective? And for the people who are interested in the program right now, I'd be curious to know in the chat, are you looking to do group sessions, one-on-one sessions, or retreats? What would be the type of way you're planning to use Soma Breath to support you? So I'm going to minimize some of the higher tiers area. So if you're just doing— if retreats is not your thing, one-on-one sessions is not your thing, we can focus here on what does it look like from a group session. So say that you're doing about 2 sessions a week and you're able to get 10 people to come into the class or in your sessions, and say you're charging $20, or maybe you're starting off very conservatively, you want to, you, you want to practice your skills and get better as a breathwork instructor before you raise your prices. Well, you're still looking here at making $10,000 if you have 10 people come into your classes 2 times a week charging just $10. And say you're not thinking about 10 people, maybe only 5 people come into your class, but you're able to actually charge $20 because it's a more intimate class. You're still sitting at a pretty interesting income generation that comes from doing the group sessions. And, you know, as you build up your, your skills and your popularity, perhaps you're even able to fill it up at 10 people, and perhaps now you're charging a premium at $25, and you're starting to see how you can generate the stream of income as a breathwork instructor. For those who are more into the transformational coach level and you're trying to do some one-on-one sessions, say you're able to work with 3 clients in a month and you have 4 sessions, so you're selling these these packages, perhaps for, say, I'll put it at $50 at the minimum here. So for $200, people get 4 one-on-one sessions with you. You're looking at a business that's just making $7,200. But when you're doing one-on-ones, you're usually able to charge quite a lot more. So if we put that around $100, you have 4 session packages, and you're working with 3 clients, or perhaps you only take on 2 clients in a month, but really you take them deep, like a 2-month package that gets them to go through 8 sessions for $800, you're making $20,000 here. And I saw somebody here saying retreats like Afrouz. Well, a retreat typically you can charge more. So if say you're making your retreat at around a $1,000 retreat for 10 people and you just want to do one a year, like a retreat like that would generate $10,000. But perhaps your retreat, you can actually squeeze in an extra 5 people. And this tool really allows you to see, well, what are the potentials that I could do as a breathwork instructor? What's the revenue that you can generate? And this is where we want to support our instructors to be more successful as instructors, is how do we find the way for you to generate income? So the next step for you is we'll put a link in the chat. Monica will do that. That allows you to learn more about our programs, and you get to actually jump on a call with one of our team members who will basically give you a vision and flow call. What we want to do in these calls is help you reach clarity because perhaps this is a path for you, but perhaps not. And if it is a path for you, then in that case, we're going to see which of these paths makes more sense for you. Now, a very powerful question from Ali here is, where do you find customers? This is the whole point of the Business of Breath that comes with our Breathwork Instructors Global. So we have an entire community of all our instructors that want to continue learning and want to be supported on the business side of breathwork. Where do I find clients? How do I strike a deal with a studio that would want me to host breathwork sessions there? How do I negotiate those terms? I haven't even spoken about our, our instructors who work with corporate clients who are doing this within the workplace, helping HR departments bring goals of bringing wellness to their employees. So there's a lot of different ways you can find some customers, but I will say one of the more traditional paths for breathwork instructors is you approach a yoga studio, and as you're a certified breathwork instructor, see what it would be like adding sessions of breathwork in an existing studio. And then you get to learn how to advertise yourself as someone who does sessions there. Or perhaps you're working directly with hosting small events and retreats using platforms like Eventbrite that allows you to list the classes that you're doing. Or you're putting your events actually directly on the Soma Breath website and people within the area get to see that, oh, I'm actually based in the UK, Canada, US, or wherever it is that you're located. For any of the app users are going to be looking for sessions in their area. If you're the instructor in that area that's offering these sessions, it's a powerful way to do it. And then there's always the online approach as well. And if all of that seems like, oh my God, do I have to do all of this at the same time? No, but we give you the tools to go into the path that makes most sense. For you. And while you're going through the instructor programs, you're not left alone. You start with a call immediately when you sign up, and our mentors try to understand the vision around what you're looking to create and put you on a path to get you there. We'll recommend those resources. There's so much that's made available for our instructors because our number one thing we measure is how do we make our instructors successful. And we've completely redesigned our instructor training. Uh, the Level 1 instructor training is actually getting a whole whole overhaul, and it's actually being made available to all instructors on May 4th. Now, the price points of the Level 1 will very likely change in the near future, but for everyone who's buying right now, it is remaining at the same price, and we're going to make sure that you get the absolute best learning experience, ensuring that you know how to navigate people if they're going through some deep emotional release. So there is a trauma-informed module. You learn the science of breathwork. We teach you how to lead and facilitate a session, and we do it with providing you the tracks that are designed to try to get people breathing in beats and how to do that in an expert fashion. And on top of that, the facilitator program is how do you welcome people into a room? How do you set up a room? How do you make sure all the tech is right? How do you get people to connect? How do you get people to share after? So beyond the actual breath session, how to facilitate a room where people are going through transformation. Is also something that we teach. Matter of fact, we want people when they go into a breathwork class and they find out that it's a Soma Breath instructor, that they trust that they are in good hands. So any certification that you receive has to be validated. You need to pass a test. Our mentors also walk you through that, and we want to make sure that when you go out there, you are competent because we've given you the skills you need to succeed. So, um, if that's all the information you needed, That is it. You can go ahead, a link that has been provided by Monica actually will teach you everything else you need to know, but the answers for you happen when you fill up the application and jump on a call with our team. We'll make sure to guide you into the next steps and see if this is a right fit. But regardless if you decide to join our programs or not, by the end of that call, you will get a lot more clarity to see if getting into a field of a holistic practice makes sense for you or not.. And if we can give you that clarity, well, we've played a small part in guiding you into the right direction. So I think that's all the questions that were there. The link is in the chat. And, um, for anybody who's looking for the PDF, when you apply, we give you the syllabus, we give you access to everything. So just go ahead on the link. All the information is there. And I think that's all the questions that everybody had. So I will leave it at that. Much love, big thanks, and I will see you guys on the next session that's happening next week. And if you do have some extra availability and you want to breathe some more, you can always join our Breathe Together Sundays. And if you haven't downloaded the app yet, make sure you have that in your toolbox. You get to breathe on demand, and that new app that Niraj Naik mentioned he's working on will be updating the current app, so you definitely want to get yourself locked in with that as well. And Monica, thank you for joining along, making sure all the links of everything I mentioned is being posted. I much appreciate the love. If you are a regular Somi and you know that Monica is always there taking care of you, you can send in those little hearts as I see pop up. Monica, those hearts are always for you. And I know it's very late for you because it's also late for me. So being close to midnight, we're going to call this an evening and wish a good day, afternoon, and all for everyone else. Be sure to book that call if you want to become an instructor. And if you're just looking for that personal journey, you get that 21-Day Awakening Journey. Matter of fact, as you go through the path of becoming an instructor, you will have to go through your 21-Day Awakening Journey because you are going to go through a personal transformation before you become the conduit that creates personal transformation for everyone else. Much love, thank you so much. Until next time, ciao ciao and peace.
