Kambo Frog Cleanse - What happens in the human body?

Niraj Naik explores what happens in your body when you use kambo, a purgative medicine from a frog. The discussion covers its psychoactive properties and the physical effects it triggers.
What happens when you do Kambo? Because I know, but I'm sure people.
Yeah, it's probably the least conventional of all the medicines. At least with psychedelics you get what a few shamans call the fireworks, so you get the show. But with Kambo, it's psychoactive but not psychedelic, so it crosses the blood brain barrier, but it doesn't give you the visuals. But what it does do is it causes massive purging and that's the form of vomiting. You might need to go the other end. You might sweat bucket loads, you might cry, sometimes with an emotional catharsis, or sometimes just water, like flushing out of your eyes as that clears in that way. Sometimes shaking of the body, which I know like animals do if they get chased down by a predator and get away, then they'll like shake it off afterwards, releasing trauma, so can shake it off. So it's a very purgative medicine and it flushes the liver, it flushes the gallbladder. And what we believe it, although we have no real time FMRI studies of this, obviously, is it's going through the body and we know it attaches to the adenosine receptors, ATP, so it's up regulating mitochondrial function and the energy exchanges in the cells and flushing out toxins into the gut where they then get expelled or downwards.
Wow.
