Let's get ready to be a lot more successful just by waking up your prefrontal cortex. What's that? Well, it's this part of the brain just behind your forehead. It's like your own inner CEO deals with planning, making decisions, getting stuff done. Easiest way to do that is to just relax. Take a deep breath in through your nose. Breathe out through your nose. Hold your breath, pinching your nose. And now hold your breath to the first big urge to breathe. Then relax. Have a break for 10 seconds. Repeat about three to five times in a row. What it does is it brings blood flow back to the prefrontal cortex, which may lose blood flow when you're a little bit stressed out and anxious.
