How To Overcome Fear Of Failure & Self-Sabotage ft. Tannaz Irani on Manifest with IMK

In this unedited, live coaching session of the Manifest with IMK show, coach Paridhi Dhingra (joined by coaches Mitesh and Indu) works with actress‑turned‑coach Tanaz Irani to unpack her fear of failure, self‑sabotage, and the internal conflict between her two professional identities – acting and life‑coaching. Tanaz shares a personal narrative of early success through manifestation, a sudden health setback that forced her onto a wheelchair, and the ensuing feelings of bitterness, jealousy, and the belief that she is a failure when not acting. Paridhi identifies these as limiting beliefs rooted in the need for external validation (appreciation as an actress, impact as a coach) and the fear of criticism. The session moves through a series of coaching techniques: guided visualization of early criticism, forgiveness scripting, NLP belief‑transfer exercises (repeated “no” statements to disconfirm the belief “I can’t do both,” followed by affirmative “yes” statements to embed the belief “I can do both”), and a balanced‑perspective framework inspired by Dr. John Demartini that encourages simultaneous acceptance of positive and negative experiences. Tanaz is guided to love and accept all parts of herself – the praised and the judged – and to envision a future where she seamlessly integrates both roles, scaling her influence through coaching, acting, and even AI‑driven coaching. The conversation also includes promotional elements for the Platinum Membership and upcoming events. By the end, Tanaz reports feeling more peaceful, confident in her dual path, and ready to act on her intentions (e.g., sending an audition, embracing both careers).
Chapters
People will think I'm a failure. The director threw the script on the face in front of everyone. A certain junction comes into my life. I fall ill. I'm on the wheelchair, not walking very well. Always happy girl. I turn negative. I turn bitter.
People judging you, people criticizing you, calling you a failure. And that's the purpose. The purpose is always the emotional experience. The limiting belief that I can't do both 100%. Now the
problem with me is— For
decades, Tanaz Irani has won hearts as one of India's most loved actresses. Beyond the spotlight, she discovered a new purpose as a life coach. But as her love for acting and coaching began to pull her in different directions, she found herself searching for clarity. In this raw, unedited session, coaches Mitesh and Indu helped Tanaz explore the beliefs that have quietly been holding her back.
The reason there is an internal conflict is because if I want to feel this, it has to only come from here.
I want people to say that to really change my life.
And this is what we call as limiting beliefs.
But I just feel that An actor who's not working, people will think I'm a failure.
I don't like this part of me. I can't be this part.
I've always thought of myself as product of monetization.
True healing would mean somebody criticizing you and you being okay with it. You see the cringe in your body right now when you say that?
Yeah. I did the audition, I did everything. I liked the take also, and guess what? I didn't send it.
You know what is the best way to not fail in a game?
Yeah.
So don't play the game.
Entire thing is playing on me. Don't do it, Tanaz. Now the problem is—
Ritik Roshan, as you know, is our brand ambassador for Law of Attraction courses. Happened about, I think, a couple of years ago. And believe it or not, his first movie, which is Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, had an amazing actress called Tanaz. And today we are coaching Tanaz on Manifest with IMK. How amazing! What a beautiful coincidence, isn't it? And today we are talking to Tanaz about multiple topics, but one topic which is very near to me and very close to my heart, and that is about integrating our personalities. Tanaz, being a successful actress, is also exploring to become a life coach now. And as she's coaching people, as she's helping people internally, a lot of times she has this internal conflict that should I focus only on my acting career or should I focus on being a life coach? Sometimes she would get judgments from other people saying Don't do coaching, only focus on acting. Or maybe because you're not getting enough success in acting, that is why you're doing coaching. All these internal conflicts going on, all these external judgments coming to her, and she's dealing with that in the best possible way that she wants to. Today, her intention is that can she integrate both these parts? Her intention is, can she be a successful actor and can she be a successful coach? Both. And the fact is, we all have the potential to be both. Why not? If entrepreneurs can have multiple businesses like Elon Musk, like Mukesh Ambani— if these entrepreneurs can have so many verticals of business which are not their strengths, by the way, but they learn it and they become good at it, and they have so many new things to do— then why can't you and I also do 2 things in life? We have been given limiting beliefs by the world that if you try to do 2 things you will drown. If you keep your 2 feet on 2 boats, you're gonna drown. Those metaphors are not always true. The fact is, we have the capacity and the potential to be a lot more than we are. Today, during this conversation with Tanaz and this coaching, by the end of the call, Tanaz becomes extremely peaceful and believes that she can do both. She can be a successful actress and she can be a successful coach, both. Her journey of integrating these personalities within her can become an amazing journey for you to integrate those personalities within you. So while you're watching this, please remember to keep your notepad and a pen ready with you. As I'm coaching her, believe that I'm coaching you and go through the experience for yourself and tell us in the comment section, how do you feel? And at the end, Tanaz agreed to be part of our Platinum Membership. I invite you for the same. Thank you. Come be part of our Platinum Masterclass. The link is below this video for you to go through the first lesson of Platinum Membership completely free. Let's enjoy your coaching conversation with Tanaz. Here we go. Firstly, welcome Tanaz for Manifest with IMK Show. I'm so happy to see you here because as a— as we discussed earlier, you've been in touch with us for the last couple of years and you've been watching some of our videos as well. So tell me, what can we do today? And as most of you know, we never even have a conversation with the guest before this call because we want to keep it as live, as spontaneous as possible. So I really don't even know what the topic is today. So it's live. So let's begin, Tanaz. What would you like to talk about? What is the intention for today's call?
Okay, so the intention. Okay, so first I want to say that I think you're doing a fabulous job. Without that, I can't go ahead. I think I am completely addicted to you and Indu. I always got you on. And as I also spoke to your team, I think you are my shower friends because every time I go into the shower, I always have you on some, you know, thing or the other podcast. And, um, so why I was attracted to do this is because I saw another podcast of yours, uh, Manifest with, uh, Mitesh. I've always thought of myself as a, as a product of manifestation because ever since the age of 8, I knew I wanted to be an actress. I manifested it. And in those days we had black and white TV, so obviously we didn't know what was manifestation, visualization, journaling, but I was doing the doing everything. And I got my career this way. I got my first break in the movies. I got everything. Everything in my life has been purely because of manifestation. Wow. And then a, a certain junction comes into my life. I fall ill. I'm on the wheelchair. I'm not walking very well, and my work stops. And from being that chirpy, bubbly, uh, quintessential, always happy girl, I turn negative. I turn, uh, bitter. I started getting jealous because obviously मैं चल नहीं सकती हूँ. I can't walk. So I'm going to look at other women and feel jealous. This was about three years ago, three to four years ago.
Okay.
And obviously I wasn't getting the right doctor. I'd gone to all the doctors in the world, and nobody could understand why I was not able to walk. But my left hip was just giving me so much of pain. And then I started doing NLD.
Oh, so it was not an accident. It was just something that just started happening, and it was an unexplainable pain. Is that what you say?
Yes, yes. And I feel my whole world is going to collapse like this. I mean, it's just going to end like this. Me on a wheelchair, like what nonsense! When I got over that, and then I, I kind of found my path to becoming a coach. Now the problem with me is since the age of eight, I've been manifesting to be an actress. I got it. I'm there. Okay. So all my pores in my body are actor, actor, actor, actor. Yes, in the koho. I mean, I literally speak that way. Yeah, yes, in the koho. And look at that angle. Look at this. And then after work, after the age of fifty, I've kind of got another thing that coach, coach, coach, help this person, help this person. Now the problem is that unknowingly I am shirking off the acting work because I'm feeling that if I get a series again or if I do something, I won't have enough time for these people.
Right.
And then when I'm doing this, I'm like, I'm feeling that people are saying अच्छा out of work actor है तो चलो coach बन गई क्या ही कर लेगी? You know, the market is saturated. Don't do it, Tanaz. Like, people have to take you seriously. Become an actor again. This entire thing is playing on me,
right?
And I want to have some clarity on this. I want to get back that entire— the way I was, like full 6 cylinders.
Yeah, sure. Okay, so a couple of questions. First, did you heal through the hip pain that With NLP,
so I had an entire hip surgery and I manifested the correct surgeon.
I see.
Because for two years I was finding a surgeon. Then finally after NLP, not only did I manifest two serials, I did work in serials also with a stick.
Whoa! Who's character?
Who's sticky? Yeah.
Okay.
Who's sticky? जरूरत थी। I'm like, wow, thanks. We're working again, I think.
Yeah.
And then. After that, I got a right doctor and he told me, "I'm sorry, ma'am. I've met you for the first time, but if you don't have this surgery, you will not be able to walk." So I'm like, "Nay, nay. Let's just do
it." So that's how you got that right surgery.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay. So the main intention of the call then would be that how do you align your two identities of being a coach versus being an actress? And you want both.
I want yeah. I want both because in between. People started telling me, leave acting. As it is, you're not getting any work. कुछ भी नहीं रहा है. You know all the naysayers, and I'm not like that.
So let's begin with first. Do you have a notepad and a pen with you by any chance?
Yes, of course.
Okay, great. So let's write down what do you want to feel by being an actress? What do you want to feel? Because the important part is not to become the actress.
Yeah.
None of us are here on this planet to achieve something as a material goal. There's always an emotion we want to experience behind it. And that's the purpose. The purpose is always the emotional experience. So what's that emotion that you want from being an actress?
I want someone to say, wow, how did you play this character? This was bizarre.
Okay. So appreciation.
Appreciation.
Okay. So let's write down. So feeling appreciated for your talent.
Okay. Yeah.
Yeah. What do you want to feel from being a coach?
I want people to say that, and, and they do, like, you've really changed my life. You know how it is when people tell you, and the shift is really great. Uh, you know, I want to feel like that, like I've made a shift in their life. They've actually been able to breathe easily.
And what would you feel if they say that? That you changed my life. I've been able to move on because of you. How would you feel when they say that?
I would feel so excited and humbled.
Okay, so write down excited, humbled. So now let's understand why there's an internal conflict. The reason there is an internal conflict is because We set boundaries for ourselves about, if I want to feel this, it has to only come from here. Or if I want to feel that, it has to come only from there. And this is what we call as limiting beliefs. Right now you've got this limiting belief that if I want to feel that acknowledgement, that significance, that appreciation, it'll come from acting. If I want to feel I make a difference, that'll come from coaching. And I want to do both, but how will I have time for both? Right?
Yeah. Yeah.
So one is the limitation that these 2 fields are different and these 2 fields will give me different feelings and I can't interchange them. That is one. 2, the limiting belief that I can't do both 100%. Maybe I can, but I don't know whether I can do 100% of both. Like, can I be my absolute best at both at the same time?
Yeah. Yeah.
Correct?
Yeah.
And if you observe— Yes. Yeah, go ahead.
Yeah, I, I, I, I know it's a very stupid thing, but I just feel that, uh, an actor who's not working and is doing something else is— people will think I'm a failure, you know what I mean?
So that's the opposite of appreciation, right? What we want as a feeling the most, why do we want that? Because we feel lack of something else.
Yeah.
So here there's lack of appreciation because there's an opposite emotion which is going too much, which is The sense of fear of being called as a failure, which is criticism, by the way. Judgment. People judging you, people criticizing you, calling you a failure. The opposite of that is appreciation.
Yeah.
Correct. And what's the opposite of making a difference? What's the opposite of helping people?
Not being bothered.
Yeah,
I guess.
So you don't want to be that person who doesn't care.
Yeah, I wouldn't be that person.
Right. And you probably also wouldn't like it if people judge you as that, that, you know, you're someone who doesn't care. You wouldn't like that judgment.
Yeah.
Okay. So the first thing we need to do is heal these 2 emotions which are right now there. The sense of criticism and the sense of being judged as I don't care. Why?
Yeah.
Because otherwise what you're going to do is constantly run away from these 2 emotions and as a result of that, go towards these 2 emotions of appreciation and Making a difference. True healing would be somebody criticizing you and you being okay with it. True healing would be you disappearing and being okay with that invisible appearance. True healing would be where somebody says, "Listen, Tanaz, you don't care," and you being okay with that part of you as well.
But I don't want to disappear.
I know, but that's part of you as well.
Yeah.
What we don't want the most is what we attract the most.
Hmm.
Resistance causes persistence and acceptance causes disappearance.
Yeah.
The more you resist not being invisible, the more you will create being invisible. So the idea is, first, can I accept that part of me? Because everything is a part of you. The significance is a part of you. The insignificance is a part of you. The appreciated is a part of you. The criticized is also a part of you. But right now you wanna own the part of you which is being appreciated.
Mm-hmm.
But you wanna disown the part which is criticized.
Yeah.
But unfortunately, or fortunately, it's part of you. Because when somebody criticizes, who do they criticize?
Me.
Yeah. And when you reject the criticism, who do you reject?
Me.
And when they don't acknowledge your existence and you don't like that, You're not liking that part of you. Hmm. So in a way, again, you've rejected that part of you who's not allowed to be insignificant, who's not allowed to be invisible. So then it's like 50-50 of you, 2 parts of you. And you've said, this part I'm not willing to accept, but I want this part. But how do you grow in your life when you're not whole?
Okay.
Does that make sense?
Yeah, it makes sense. I also, and I think I've like kind of shrunk myself and not letting myself manifest those great roles, not getting there because I feel like I've already lost it.
Yeah.
So, you know, when it could, like, I've, I've just like done it to myself. How do I get out of that space?
The reason is because we are running away from that sense of criticism. We are running away from that sense of failure. We're running away from that sense of I don't care or the judgment. But the fact is, the more you go into the acting world or the coaching world for that matter, you're only exposing yourself to reveal that part of you which is going to be judged.
And if
you're not comfortable that part of you, you're already sabotaging the manifestation of becoming that. Like in my case, for an example, every time I create a YouTube video, there are hundreds of comments. But there's always going to be 2 types, positive and negative.
Yeah.
If I'm— if I don't want the negative comments, part of me will say, I don't want to make these YouTube videos because I don't like these negative comments. So what will happen now is I will have to push myself and motivate myself to make YouTube videos. I'll keep saying I want to, I should, I know I need to, I know I'm supposed to, but part of you will keep sabotaging you and saying कल करते हैं। यार, you'll make the video and you'll record it, but in the name of editing, you will not post it for hours and days.
I am laughing because I got a show. I did the audition. I'm really laughing at this is so wrong one. I did the audition. I did everything. I liked the take also, and guess what? I didn't send it.
There you go. There you go. Because there is an exposure in
that. Just didn't send it.
You know what is the best way to not fail in a game? Hmm. Don't play the game.
Not to play the game.
That's what you're doing because you don't, because you don't own the part of you which is a failure.
Okay. I'll send the, I'm gonna send the audition right now. I swear I'm gonna send the audition right now, Mitesh. I swear I'm gonna send it right now. Yeah. I'm just gonna get rid of this. Like as we're talking, I'm just gonna bloody get rid of this. Because I like to take action. I, I can't see myself like this.
Yeah. Let's flip that. I like every part of me.
I like every part of me.
Like, I like the part of me that gets rejected.
I like the part of me that gets rejected.
Do you see the cringe in your body right now when you say that?
Yeah.
That's what I mean by we need to heal that.
Yeah.
So let's work on that right now and let's see what happens. Okay?
Okay.
All right, so keep your hands on your heart, close your eyes, and I want you to go back to the earliest memory of feeling criticized. Like, every human being is introduced to that emotion someday in life, right? And we may not get to the original emotion, original memory, but whatever is the earliest that you remember when you got criticized, and it'll come to your mind. Tell me, what did you see? What did you—
Which is, was a very big event, was when I was always a comedian in my life, like doing comedy, comedy, comedy for many years. And one director told me that I wanna launch you like in a mainstream soap, soap opera. And soaps are very different and I couldn't get it. And—
So what is the memory? Who criticized you?
The director threw the script. on the face, like in front of everyone, like on the, you know. Okay. And it was— that's the day when I thought that I was just an imposter. I was not an actor. I shouldn't be in this field. I'm just a stupid Parsi girl, you know, come from Churchgate, you know, all sobo. I shouldn't even be here. I felt very bad and I cried all the way home, which was like a 45-minute drive. And at that time, the cell phone was like ₹16 a minute. I remember that. And I just wanted to give up. That was the worst anyone has ever criticized me.
Okay, so now as your eyes are closed, I just want you to repeat with me. By going back into that memory of that Tanaz, go back into her body, go back to that moment where he threw those papers on your face. And I want you to imagine for a second you are not Tanaz, you are me, you're Mitesh. And all my wisdom and all my knowledge that you've heard about Is yours in that moment, and I want you to take a seat after the director threw those papers and say this with me: I take 100% responsibility.
I take 100% responsibility
for manifesting this situation.
For manifesting this situation.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry
for whatever I have done.
For whatever I have done
to trigger this director
to trigger this director
to behave like this with me
to behave like this with me.
I'm sorry for whatever I have triggered within me.
Sorry for whatever triggered within me
that made him behave like this with me.
That made him behave this with me.
Please forgive me. Think of the director and say, please forgive me.
Please forgive me
for bringing the worst out of you.
For bringing the worst out of
you by feeling the worst of me.
For feeling the worst of me.
Thank you for doing what you did.
Thank you for doing what you did.
Allowing me to love and accept.
For allowing me to love and accept
this part of me.
This part of me
which can be comfortable with being judged.
Which can feel comfortable by being judged
and criticized
and
rejected and refused
and rejected and refused.
In this moment,
in this moment,
I choose to love myself.
I choose to love myself
with all my ambitions,
with all my ambitions,
in spite of this rejection,
in spite of the rejection.
I allow these rejections.
I allow these rejections.
That's a part of me.
That's a part of me.
Part of me gets selected.
Part of me gets selected.
Also rejected.
Also rejected.
The bigger my goals,
the bigger my goals,
the bigger part of me is going to get rejected.
The bigger part of me is going to get rejected.
And I love that part of me.
And I love that part.
I am now willing.
And now I'm willing.
To integrate both parts of me.
Integrate both parts of me.
The one that is loved.
The one that is loved.
And judged.
And judged.
The one that is loving.
The one that is loving.
And cunning.
And cunning.
I am a part that cares.
I am a part that cares.
But I'm also a part that doesn't care a damn.
But I'm also a part that doesn't get it done.
Both is me.
Both is me.
And I'm willing to accept it.
And I'm willing to accept it.
And love and honor myself for who I am.
And love and honor myself for who I am.
I now allow.
I now allow.
Everything.
Everything.
All of me.
All of me.
To exist and grow.
To exist and grow.
The reason I was not manifesting higher goals.
The reason I was not manifesting higher goals.
Because I knew they would come up with higher problems.
That I knew they would come up with higher problems.
And I was not rejecting those problems.
And I was not rejecting those problems.
I was rejecting part of me.
I was rejecting part of me.
Thinking I could not be that person.
Thinking I could not be that person.
Thinking I could not face that person.
Thinking I could not face that person.
Now I'm willing to.
Now I'm willing to.
Because it is me.
Because it is me.
I love every part of me.
I love every part of me.
Take a deep breath. And as every conversation of this, these words go into every cell of your body, I want you to now imagine that you start working after this call that we finished. And you continue feeling what you're feeling now for the next entire 24 hours. How would your life be in the next 24 hours? Just feel it. What would you do? What would you take action for? How would you take action? And in the next 3 days, imagine failing at something and loving that part of you. Wow! And then being appreciated and being okay with that as well.
Yeah.
And then imagine yourself living like this for another month with bigger problems, bigger you, bigger rejections, bigger selections, a bigger part of you caring and a bigger part of you not caring sometimes. Whereas a coach, 3 months from now, you're dealing with somebody who's not doing the work. And a part of you says, if they don't care, then I don't care. And that's also you. And a year from now, with this acceptance of every part of you, imagine who would you have become as an actress and a coach both. Focusing on feeling the feelings, who would you have become by then? Who would you have helped? How many would you have helped, how many roles you would have played, how much would you have enjoyed the rejections along with the selections. Now fast forward your life to another 20 years. Who's with you? Who are you loving? Who's loving you back? Imagine everything that you've seen about my work is yours. Imagine everything about my impact that I have been able to create that you look up to is yours. And imagine fast-forwarding that to another 50 years. Multiply that success, multiply that experience, being comfortable with success and failure both. At one point being criticized by masses and loved by masses. And now imagine yourself 100+ in age, At the time when you're leaving this world, you're on your bed about to leave this earth, fully comfortable with the part of you that is selected and rejected, appreciated and judged, the one that is caring and not caring both. Who's next to you as you leave this earth? And if you left with these feelings, how peacefully would you leave? How gracefully would you leave? And in those last moments, what would you remember? The feelings or the achievements? And if you left with these feelings, who would you be reborn as? And where? Take a deep breath and relax. Three, two, one. Slowly open your eyes. Wide awake. Feeling good.
That puts so much into perspective. That puts so much into perspective. It really puts her into perspective. Yeah.
It's not about what you achieve, it's about what you feel. You've been focusing on the wants rather than the haves.
Also, yeah. And also undermining, uh, the feeling that, you know, when you're changing somebody, you're helping another soul, Uh, I'm just undermining all that.
Yeah.
I'm underplaying it so badly.
Well, actually, I wouldn't say only underplaying it, but you were underplaying yourself in terms of not okay with being judged even there, maybe even as a coach. But if you're comfortable with that part of you as well, then it's like a person who constantly keeps walking Irrelevant of some people appreciating, irrelevant of some people criticizing, then that's a balanced you. Rather than the one of you which is so excited about coaching or acting that only wants success and no failure, only wants love, no hatred, only wants caring, not caring. But it's not possible to do that. Life is a beautiful balance of both. You can't have a house electricity without positive and negative wires both. You need both. And you are both.
Yeah.
So if you now see yourself accepting both parts of you, could you do acting and coaching both? Yeah.
Yeah. Because it's yeah. Something's going to happen. Something is not going to happen. And that doesn't mean like a failure. It doesn't mean that I'm not good at what I'm doing. Doesn't mean that.
I would say it probably does mean some part of you is not good enough. Some part of you is a failure, and that's okay too.
Hmm. Yeah.
Like in the self-help world, we somehow have this illusion that it's not okay to be not good enough.
Yeah.
So we wanna constantly avoid that feeling of not being good enough, but that's also you. You are not good enough, and that's the truth. Certain areas you're not good enough, and certain areas you're a failure, and that's okay.
And some things want to kind of give up, either you or your health.
And maybe that doesn't have to be that way. Maybe you can do everything and have the best of health.
Yeah.
And there are times you, when you will let go of both, you'll let go of work also and you'll let go of health also and you just chill, relax and you just take a break. And that is also you.
Yeah.
But that's what I'm saying. The permission to giving yourself the permission to go all out in both and giving yourself the permission to go all back from both for a certain period of time, that's also okay. Hmm. This is called actual freedom, by the way, where you would allow yourself to be all in and all out, not just all in. That's where you're loving all parts of you. Make sense?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, of course, of course.
So now let's change that second belief of yours, which is I can do either this or that. Okay, so we'll use an NLP process since you're aware of NLP. We'll do a belief transfer technique with you. So I'm gonna ask you 3 things which you are already very comfortable with as a positive belief, and we're going to extract how that belief feels for you, and then we'll transfer that feeling, uh, to this one.
Okay.
Okay, so right now the feeling is, I'm not sure if I can do both, and that feels true.
Yeah.
We want, I'm 100% sure I can do both, and we want that to feel true.
Okay.
At a body level, at a subconscious level, it has to feel good.
Yeah.
So let's create that transferring first. Is that okay?
Okay. Yeah.
Okay. So first we're gonna break the first part, which is I can't do both 100%. We're gonna break that part completely. Okay? So I'm gonna ask you 3 questions which are false beliefs. So I'm gonna ask you these 3 things again and again. I just want you to now being conscious about as you're saying no, I want you to feel your no and keep your eyes open. That's not a problem. But remember the way you say it, like where's your body gesture going? How are you feeling internally? What's your voice tempo like when you say it? Okay, so here we go again. You're a boy, is that true?
No.
You can't see, is that true?
No.
You can't talk, is that true?
No.
You're a boy, is that true?
No.
You can't see, is that true?
No.
You can't talk, is that true?
No.
Once again, you're a boy, is that true?
No.
You can't see, is that true?
No.
You can't talk, is that true?
No.
Okay, now observe your no is very specific in the way you feel it, and everybody has a different way of feeling it, right? So yours is like, no.
Yeah.
And not only do you shake like that, your voice is balanced at that point. You're not like, no. There's no higher pitch in that.
Yeah.
So that's the way you are when you feel that no. Okay, now we're going to use this to break the feeling of I can't do both. And how we're going to do that is I'm going to ask you the same 3 questions again. You'll keep saying no. In between, alternately, I'll keep asking you this question. You can't do acting and coaching both, and you'll mechanically say no.
Okay.
Mechanically. You don't have to feel it. You just have to mechanically keep doing the no part. That's it. Okay? All right. So you're a boy, is that true?
No.
You can't see, is that true?
No.
You can't talk, is that true?
No.
You're a boy, is that true?
No.
You can't do coaching and acting both, is that true?
No.
You can't see, is that true?
No.
You can't do acting and coaching both, is that true?
No.
You can't talk, is that true?
No.
You can't do coaching and acting both, is that true?
No.
You are right now homeless, is that true?
No.
You can't do coaching and acting both, is that true?
No.
Okay. Tell me, what did you have for dinner last night?
Uh, I had fish.
You can't do coaching and acting both. Is that true?
No.
You see how naturally that came in?
Yeah.
Now try to say the opposite and see how it feels. Okay, so say it with me. Say, I can't do acting and coaching both.
I can't do acting and coaching. No, it's not happening.
See, it doesn't feel genuine. It doesn't feel true. Correct? So at the body level, we've reprogrammed you to feel, no, that's not true.
Yeah.
As normal as I'm a I'm a boy? No. I can't do acting and coaching both? No. So at a cellular level, now your body believes that this is not true.
Yeah.
So now no matter how much people will say that, it'll not make any sense to you. See, it's never about what people say to you, it's about what you feel and what you believe.
Yeah.
Even if a million people on the social media came across and said, Tanaz, you're a boy, would you believe that?
No.
That's the whole point. Then why would some people saying You can't do acting and coaching both affects you. Not because they say it, it affects you because you believe that.
Yeah, I allowed them to, you know.
No, they are only a reflection of your actual beliefs.
Yeah.
You believed I can't do both, and that's why it was affecting you. But now, if I can make you stop feeling that, stop you believing that, now anybody can come and say you're a boy, doesn't matter. Anybody can come and say you're a— you can't do acting and coaching both. You're like No, it's not true.
No. Yeah.
And you don't even have to justify, like, no, that's not true.
Yeah, yeah, I don't have to justify. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay,
I don't have it, but that's the first part.
Now let's do the second part, which is creating the belief I can do acting and coaching both. Right now, at a feeling level, it is 50/50.
Hmm,
there's a little confusion in that. Let's make that a complete yes. Okay, so again, 3 simple questions I'll ask you. You'll say yes. And then we'll transfer that feeling. Okay?
Yeah.
So you're a girl, is that true?
Yes.
You can see, is that true?
Yes.
You can talk, is that true?
Yeah.
You're a girl, is that true?
Yes.
You can see, is that true?
Yeah.
You can talk, is that true?
Yep.
Okay, now keep one word so we go consistent with the feeling. So now we're gonna go alternate. Okay, so just keep saying yes mechanically. You're a girl, is that true? Yes. You can do acting and coaching both. Is that true?
Yes.
You can see. Is that true?
Yes.
You can do acting and coaching both. Is that true?
Yes.
You are wearing a yellow dress. Is that true?
Yes.
You can do acting and coaching both. Is that true?
Yes. Yes.
You can talk. Is that true?
Yes.
You can do acting and coaching both. Is that true?
Yes.
You have long hair right now. Is that true?
Yes.
You can do acting and coaching both. Is that true?
Yes.
Yes. What did you have for breakfast today morning?
Uh, toast.
You can do acting and coaching both, is that true?
Yes.
Felt that?
How quick it was? Yeah, completely, completely. Yes, yes.
Now try to say the opposite and you won't feel it. Like, say, I can't do acting and coaching both.
I can't do acting and coaching both. Yeah, it's not fun.
Doesn't feel true.
Yeah, it doesn't feel true at all.
And now say, I can do acting and coaching both.
I can do acting and hot tub both.
Yeah. So your body's supporting you now?
Yeah, completely.
So it's fully integrated in you. But if I would've done only the belief transfer without integrating both your personalities of wanting to succeed and fail both, wanting to be loved and judged both, if I would've not done that part, this limiting belief exercise would've been temporary. Because what would've happened is you would've said, okay, I can do both. You would've gone back into the real world and you would've failed and got rejected and you were like, I don't like this part of me. I can't be this part. But now if you're saying, okay, I can be that and this both, and I can do acting and coaching both.
Yeah.
Now it doesn't matter.
Yeah. You know, it, this is, uh, you know, I thought it was a small problem because I just think that, oh, you know, you just have to be resilient. You just have to be strong and blah, blah, blah, blah. But it isn't. It is something that is there inside you.
Yeah.
Yeah. And now it makes sense when I can say it with ease. I can say it and I believe it.
Yeah. So the important lesson here is also something called having a new perspective called balanced perspective.
Huh.
Where I learned this from my mentor, Dr. John Demartini, that most of us are addicted either to positivity or to negativity.
Hmm.
We want all positive, no negative. We want all negative, no positive. Example, you fall in love with a girl, you're infatuated with a girl, or you fall in love with a boy and you get infatuated with a boy. What is an infatuation? An infatuation is all good, no bad.
Hmm.
So if, if you go to the girl who's in love with a boy, or you go to a boy who's in love with a girl right now as an infatuation, and you tell them, don't get along with that person, there's something wrong with that person, they will never listen to you. They'll say, don't you dare say anything about her.
Yeah.
Because right now they don't want to see anything negative about them, and they want to believe it doesn't exist, right? So now they will have that infatuation, all positive, no negative, and they'll get married to the person. But then the person starts showing up the other sides of them, which exists, always existed. But now when you live with the person 24 hours, you can't avoid it. So you start seeing it. But if I am used to having an imbalanced perspective in life, now instead of infatuation, I'll have resentment, which means I'm going to see all negative, nothing positive. And now I'm like, there's nothing good about her. I know I used to love her once upon a time, but I think that was the fake her. There's nothing good about her. And this is what leads to a divorce.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like, nothing good about that person. I can't be with this person anymore. Because you can't see anything good in them. And that is why I said the speed at which you evolve is how fast can you see positive and negative both in this moment.
Yeah.
Like something negative happened now, and how fast can you see the positive? Can you see the blessing now in the curse? That's balanced perspective. Can you see the curse now in the blessing? That's balanced perspective. So one of the things I learned from my mentor was if I had a great day and if I did a workshop and everybody appreciated me and everybody complimented me, Do you know the universe will balance you if you don't balance yourself? You'll go home and somebody will criticize you for no reason. You'll have a fight and you'll be like, "I had such a great day. Why did you have to spoil my mood?"
Yeah, yeah.
Why couldn't you just let me have my day?
That's so true.
Because if you don't balance yourself, the universe will balance you.
So how do you balance yourself?
Yeah.
Over there.
On the way. If I, if I just had a great workshop and if I had a great appreciation with somebody, on the way home, I will start looking at what are my weaknesses for a few seconds, for a few minutes, I would say. Like, what have I done wrong in my life? Whom have I wronged? Who do I need to say sorry to? Where am I not good enough? Where am I a failure? But because I've had such a great day, when I start thinking a little negative about me, it balances me. It humbles me down. Yeah. So when I'm going home, because I'm not very excited, I'm not cocky.
Yeah.
And I don't make irresponsible, unconscious mistakes to trigger negativity inside other people. And that is why they don't have to balance me now, because I'm going home humbled, I'm going home balanced, and I come home peaceful. And they ask, how was your day? It's like, it was good. Yeah, but what did you do? Oh, I got the Best Actor Award. Oh, that's awesome. So why aren't you excited? I am excited. I'm very happy.
You know, I think this balancing act happens to me because no one validates me at home at all. I'm completely balanced.
That's true.
You know, when people tell me you're so humble, you're so down to earth, you've never seen a celebrity like you. So I go back to my childhood days and being in a typical Parsi family, there was no validation. There was just no validation. I mean, I could have won any award. I did a movie with Hrithik Roshan. It would be like, how amazing is that?
That was the universe balancing you.
Wow. I've never heard this in any other podcast. Okay. You have not spoken about this.
No, I don't think I have. So when people come and join Platinum membership, many times they feel that Platinum membership is only about making money. It's only about growing in relationships and having a great body. No, it's not. It's more about being a balanced personality. So you keep evolving and evolving and evolving and evolving. So that one day you could master these things to probably become a life coach, if not to become a professional life coach, at least to help people in your day-to-day conversations. Because any person in the world, if wants higher success, needs to deal with more number of people. For that, you need a higher perspective, a higher balanced perspective. When you have that, now you can— whether you do life coaching, whether you do acting, whether you do business, doesn't matter. You could be doing any number of things, but with this perspective, you could deal with thousands and millions of people and have that level of influence. And when people cheat you and when people break your trust, if you've mastered balance, you say, this was supposed to happen. We have so many loyal people, right? Let's say thank you for that loyalty, because because of that loyalty, we have some unloyal people, and that's okay. So you go through that feeling of being cheated, feeling of being hurt like this.
Oh my God, listen, I won't— I think you have a CCTV camera in my house. Everything is just what I needed because this is exactly what is happening in my company. And I went through it like this in a day. And of course I was advised, I throw them out. How could they be disloyal? And I'm like, wait, there's, there's a bigger picture. These people are loyal. There's, there's a reason this is happening. I just went through it so fast and they're like, hey, we don't know how to do business here. क्या एक्टर तू क्या business तू करेगा? You know, kind of thing.
Yep.
They were saying, and I'm like, no, I'm finding something, uh, in my gut feeling. I know what I'm doing is right.
The conversations we're having now is much in-depth, and being able to mastery that is what we do in Platinum.
I can feel that.
And there then you could master that to an extent where over a period of time you could have your own AI. Like, that's what we've done with me right now, where I've cloned my AI, and my AI is right now the first AI in the world who's doing life coaching on autopilot, because of which my business has become scalable. And of course, does that bring in new challenges and opportunities and problems? Of course it does. But that's what I am willing to gracefully go through. And when the problem happens, I'll go through it gracefully.
Yeah.
But then I also go through the opportunities and the blessings. In fact, today, if possible, at 9 PM India time, come and attend DMP. I'll send you the link. Today's Daily Magic Practice. It's open for everybody today. The reason is, uh, have you heard about the movie The Secret?
Yeah, of course.
So in that, there is a gentleman called Dr. Joe Vitale.
Of course.
So we're inviting him today for an interview on DMP. He's personally coming and doing hope, nope, no for us and for the community. And we've invited him for a private workshop only for platinum members after today. So he's going to come and announce that today.
Oh wow.
And he's going to declare a bigger news, which is—
there's a bigger news?
There's a much bigger news, which I'll keep it as a suspense for you for today evening.
Okay, okay.
It's something that has never happened in India.
I have to be a part of this fake news, man. I mean, like, seriously, I just feel, I just feel, I don't feel I'm talking to you all for the first time.
She says I'm her shower friend. She listens to our audios and videos in the shower. So thank you for coming on the call, by the way, because I want to appreciate you for the fact that it's not easy for celebrities to come out in the open and get coached like this. So thank you, because one of the intentions of this program is to help people understand that we all can and should go through coaching so that we evolve as people. In fact, the more you as a celebrity give others this feeling that if I can evolve, they can evolve, I think somewhere people will not feel this sense of— almost with the word coaching, there's a sense of shame associated for many people.
Yeah.
They say, like, I don't want to talk to a therapist, I don't want to talk to a life coach. And if more and more people like you come out in the world and go through this experience, you just allow so many other people To ask for help, to go out there and learn for themselves proudly. So thank you. I really mean it. Thank you for supporting this mission. If you know some friend, a celebrity, a sportsman, or an actor who is going through something similar that Tanaz is, because many of them, many times when they overgrow, sometimes feel that they're getting stuck in their life, this conversation can truly help them. So share this episode. of Manifest with IMK. Share this coaching experience with your friends, with your family, with a celebrity who you know needs it the most. You never know, your one sharing of this video can change somebody's life. Thank you.
